This rum is special. You really don't need a rum aficionado to tell you that this is quality because it's so apparent from the first sip to last drip as you empty the bottle (way too short a time inbetween!). You must-must savour this rum on the nose...caramels, coconut, fruits, spices such as cinnamon, star anise, all-spice. And the taste...really, really interesting. Increasing coffee notes like a strong Kalhua...but plenty of sherry-rum richness too...from sweet vanilla & candy floss through to maple syrup. Yes, it's sweet, so more a dessert rum than an everyday rum, but really, honestly...Wow! 12-years old...at this price. It's frightening!! Buy it now. It's a no-brainer.

I like sipping my Rum neat. This is definitely one of the best ones I have tasted so far in my year-long Rum adventure. Nice and sweet, but not overly so and some amazing hints of flavours, with coffee being the most predominant. Amazing quality Rum in this price range. I will definitely buy this again .... I hope it remains available.

I cannot lie the reviews I read beforehand are pretty much on the money, subtle sweetness in comparison to some rums but a multitude of tasty flavours after sipping. To truely appreciate a rum of this quality its neat all the way in my humble opinion.

Delicious coffee infused rum. Perfect as a digestif. Not a sweet liqueur but a balanced rum with strong coffee notes and a pleasingly clear palate. Goes even better poured into the coffee for a double note. Dangerously delicious.

Smooth enough to drink on its own but incredible with a light tonic. This gin isn’t as punchy as other gins though so it’s one to pair with lightly flavoured tonic rather than in a cocktail. It’s a lovely tipple.

An undoubtedly delicious gin that really does hit the spot. One of my favourites, along with the black edition, this gin is one for the palate to savour. Highly recommended.

Bought this for my son for Christmas who is partial to a tipple of gin. He absolutely loved it and has made me promise another bottle for his birthday coming up in April.

My favourite gin and one that is usually hard to procure. However, I found it here and Amazon delivered swiftly. Clean taste and perfect to chill out with. Love it.

This is a great rum, super smooth, sweet notes of honey and coffee. Perfect over a cube of ice and no more. Quality rum, especially for the price.

Delicious, very good gin! Still prefer the Dictador Premium Aged Gin... but this is delicious also... probably why I always have a bottle of each

This went from being unknown to being my number one gin, and trust me I have tried a few.Beautifully bitter and citrusy at the same time.

Expensive but i believe not as much sugar added as some of the others in Dictador range. So considering that very smooth tasty rum.

This was a 40th birthday gift to my son who was over the moon. He loves rum and says that this is the best he has ever tasted.

I'm normally a whisky drinker but really enjoyed this. Burnt caramel and toasted coconut maybe? Regardless, very drinkable
