Well first of all allow me to just explain that I am not one of your more typical whiskey snobs, if I am going to review a whisky you will need to know this and I will if I remember to start all future whiskey reviews with the same opening so as not to mislead the more educated palate.I am not one of these people who sit admiring, smelling and then dissecting the flavours, I smell and admire but I do not dissect.I really and truly wish I was one to dissect the flavours as I feel that I am missing something that is part of the joy of whisky, I have tried to find my own tasting notes but alas no it is all in vain with the equipment that god entrusted me, I cannot taste plums, pears, oranges,

Hard to review something that is such a subjective thing. This however, is my favourite malt whisky. I’m not the biggest malt whisky fan and I definitely find it difficult to get the hang of the peatier ones. This is not peaty. I do get “some” of Things mentioned in the tasting notes but, not being a connoisseur, to me it is just smooth and delicious. Perfect for relaxing with a wee dram in the evening.

Lovely whisky.. I light the flavour of this one. I'm just getting into my whisky so I don't quite have all the words that some people may have to describe the flavour but this is one you don't find in all the shops, so it's a bit rarer than some, and it's well worth the trying in my opinion. Yum Yum.

Bought as a present for my dad but was lucky enough to drink it with him. Enjoyed Glen Moray Standard for a while as it has great flavour without that harsh back end. This 12 year only made the flavour more refined and I’m happy to say it was worth the investment over the cheaper version.

Well packed in a multi consignment of spirits. Golden nectar from a distillery in Elgin, closer to the river Lossie than the Spey, but equally as good.A light, pleasant all round malty taste, with a clean finish, only a light fresh aroma.

Delivered on time, well packed. As for the whisky - lovely stuff!! This bottle replaces another down to its last drop

This is a whiskey that goes down really well. I bought this for a friend and he just couldn't get enough of it.

Seems like our son thoroughly enjoyed his Birthday gift, it is a great Whisky, John drinks it here.
