This is my favourite whisky. Smooth and pale and comes from a place in Scotland where i used to play as a child. Delivery was excellent and the packaging was very strong and secure. The price was also reasonable but i did not receive the bottle advertised. I only bought from amazon because of this fact as it seems hard to get this older design. I received the new design which is fine but i could have got this from a high street retailer at a cheaper price. Hence the four stars.

I thought I'd give this bottle a try as a Christmas treat and as something different to the type of Whisky I normally enjoy. I found it to be a delightful drop of scotch. Slightly astringent lightly peated and a little citrus touch. Not a powerhouse Scotch by any means, but very pleasant. I tend to enjoy Islay malts, which are obviously much heavier than 'Loughnagar' but I was impressed and may try it again in the future.

Very solid buy at just over £30. Tastes of malt and well as simple as it sounds a whisky that mainly tastes of whisky. A bit of wood for sure but no undertones of peat, smoke, dried fruit or anything.I like my peated Islays, my Sherry cask Speysided, and candle wax Clynelish (among many) . But this is a very nice malt with none of that and tastes superb. I will definetly buy again. Recommended

Beautifully gift wrapped. However I missed that I needed to be in to take delivery to show ID. Consequently it was re-delivered a day late. I had put delivery instructions of where to leave the package in the event of not being in so feel this should have been picked up by Amazon/carrier......so I could be reminded about ID.

a really great dram, i was fortunate enough to visit the distillery earlier in the year and had the bottle still lying unopened in the house so after the tasting at the distillery i wanted another experience of it. Its a beautiful example of a highland/speyside whisky, its citric, complex and really smooth to taste.

Excellent purchase! Royal Lochnagar never disappoints for the true Whiskey lover. Once tasted, a blend will never taste as good again. Good service and prompt delivery with minimum packaging which is always a bonus these days ?

This whisky is a good un. I normally buy Isle of Islay whiskys. Fancied a change so bought a bottle of this Highland whisky. Maybe my favourite non islay whisky. It’s a bit too good if you know what I mean!

As 12yr olds go, this is up there with the best. Whilst the nose is fairly low key the first taste is amazing and once it has journeyed around the taste buds be prepared for a rich fruit and spice orgy.

I purchased this for my son as a thank you present. He loves his single malts. This he said was a beautiful malt and not peaty as a lot are. Label not as indicated but would recommend.

I don’t drink whisky so can’t give a detailed review, but did have some friends around at Christmas who are. Their verdict was that it was a very nice drop!
