I looked around for a replacement kettle some beauties some very expensive but this really caught my imagination after reading a lot of positive and some negative reviews. I had to agree with the more positive ones. Stylish and a bigger capacity than most. Boils fast but quietly, good pouring spout with a filter no need to lift the lid to fill, blue light around the base signifies its working and comparing to more expensive alternatives this was a a bargain. I filled it to its maximum capacity as instructed in the booklet to clean. It may be heavy for some when full but its not that often I would fill it completely. I can't fault this kettle one bit. It's like a kettle with the power of a V8 engine !!

The handle of the kettle being thick is excellent in shape and attached to the body of the kettle at points giving excellent balance when the kettle is full or empty. The shape of the kettle being squat produces good stability when located either off or on the base. My only concern is the lid hinge which is made of plastic and although it is fairly heavy duty time will tell if it is robust enough to withstand being heated plus opened and closed continually, to avoid premature failure I am filling the kettle through its spout.

this is my second kettle like this. it looks great, the blue lights make it look different, boils quick, everything you want in kettle.only flaw i seen, my first one, after so many boils it had made,m the seal between jug and lid got bad so that it had to boil longer, and produce more steam in order to get auto shut off.trouble is it went like that and got worse so that the lid bent and seal got worse and eventually there becakme no auto shut off. time to get a new one, but flawed, hope new one does not have same thing.

I love this kettle, it boils fast, it's well designed for balance when pouring and the spout let's the water pour into the cup not splash all over the place. I have been so impressed with this kettle that this is the second one I have bought. My first was several years ago and it is still in daily use and I have bought this latest one just as a spare should my original one ever fail. Best kettle I have ever owned and highly recommend it.John Roberts

Hi looked at loads of kettles from the basic cheap to expensive .I wanted a kettle that looked good and had a top filler that could be opened to fill with water from tap .This looks as good as t does in picture.So far no issues and is quieter than than the last kettle i previously hadI am impressed so far for value for money, it even comes with a 2- yr gaurantee but hopefully won't need to use it

GOOD LOOKING GREAT PRICE QUICK DELIVERY WELL PACKED WHEN YOU FLICK THE LEVER TO OPEN THE LID IT ONLY OPENS 40MM YOU HAVE TO OPEN IT THE REST OF THE WAY WITH YOUR HAND WHEN YOU DO THAT AND OPEN IT FULLY WATER RUNS DOWN THE INSIDE OF THE LID AND GOES OVER THE BACK OF THE KETTLE WHICH IS NOT GOOD ALSO WHEN IT BOILS STEAM AND SOME SPITS OF WATER COME OUT OF WERE THE LID CLOSES TO THE KETTLE TOP......

looks good, and works well so far( am hedging my bets, as another brand of kettle I bought elsewhere started leaking after only 6 months, which is why I bought this one). Particularly like the blue lights when it's on, and how quiet it is.Only problem I had was that after about 14 months, the on switch became hard to switch on, but had to buy another of the same. Best kettle I've ever had

A good quality fast boiling kettle but:-1) the pop up lid only pops up around 30 degrees so you then have to manually open it to 90 degrees before you can fill it. Not a good idea putting fingers under the lid if it has just boiled.2) fill line is hidden behind the handle so it is difficult to see, particularly when you are holding the handle to fill

Very good, quiet, boils pretty quickly, cool to the touch and great looking kettle.Only drawback is the lid doesn't open more than 30° degrees which is a very bad design and could be potentially be a way to scald yourself. This may be that I've a faulty lid mechanism but i checked with Andrew james and they told me it was correct.

Great quality kettle with good looks. the opaque sight level for the water level needs to be in good light to see easily. pours well boils and clicks off quickly without too much noise. love the blue LEDs looks like a space ship ready to take off. lid pops up at the press of a button but needs a further push to open all the way.

Have only just started using this kettle and find it very easy to use. Attractiveaddition to the kitchen, fairly light weight and quick to boil and not too noisy.I very much like the way it pours with no drips. Nice change to have a kettlethat I enjoy using - smart, efficient and a pleasure to use. Many thanks.

This is a very good kettle I had the same model before the only reason I bought another one is because it is so good I had an idiot around one day and he kept flicking the switch on it and blew the the fuse along with the kettleI would not buy another one if I did not think it was so good ?

YES this kettle is awesome if I have a negative it would be its fairly noisy when it boils, by most kettles do. It would be wonderful if they could make it a bit less noisy. That being said it wouldn't it wouldn't stop me ordering the same kettle again.Christine.....

Bought this to replace an identical kettle we bought from Marks & Spenser at least 6 years ago, pleased we found this one on eBay from Andrew James as M&S no longer stock it.Its a great stylish functioning kettle and would without hesitation recommend this product.

Boils longer than I'm used to but good solid bit of kit but I'm just used to kettle that boils quicker than this one I'd recommend this kettle to anyone really good quality it's not going to fall apart or start peeling coating off like some I've had before
