Have used numerous types of blender/choppers before but this is by far the best. I regular used my pestle and mortar to fine grind herbs for crusts and it used to take ages. With James Martin product it takes literally seconds and with the blade nice and low in the container you don't get half the still stuck to the bottom un-chopped!Great product, thank you!

When grinding garlic ginger and chillies - have to use it several times and it takes longer to bring the ingredients to a fine consistent - have not used the other attachment with 4 blades to try grinding coffee beans or black pepper grinding yet.

This is a good product to graind your herbs even most Chinese medicine herbs that are hard. You use the other blender to make smoothies or mash up vegetables. It's 200w powered. Very quick, easy to use and clean.

This is strong and powerful grinder, easily up to the job. The weakness is the cover, that is made from plastic and it cracked early on.Otherwise, if you take care with the top, it is a lovely machine.

It is a great quality machine with one design flaw. The food will go everywhere if you instinctively lift the lid to stop it. The lid must be 'let go of' and even then some gets out.
