Disclaimer: I received this blender in exchange for my honest review.Appearance: The BL642 blender arrived neatly packaged, the box contains: base unit, 2.1LTR pitcher and blade, 900ml cup, 650ml cup, 500ml cup, travel lids and cup blender blades, instruction manual and recipe booklet. This particular model is quite large, however, it does fit in my little cottage kitchen so unless you have zero side space left this shouldn't be an issue unless you don't like clutter in which case it might be. Each component is sleek, stylish and sturdy. The buttons are easy to read and easy to press, there is an LED display which looks quite attractive and modern when lit.Functionality:Prior to receiving thisblender I had been using the 900w Nutri Ninja alongside an 100w hand blender from a leading brand, this blender has rendered these two items almost useless (if it was able to blend hot ingredients then they would be completely useless!). When you attach the pitcher or the cup with the appropriate blade, the options available for that particular blade will light up on the base unit meaning there is very little chance you can break it through error (good for those of us who get a bit carried away in the kitchen!). The handbook provided tells you which settings to use, e.g. use the puree setting for soups and sauces; use the auto IQ blend setting for juices. The blender has a lock safety function, meaning that it wont fire up unless you have locked the cup or pitcher in correctly which is an excellent feature. So far I have used this blender to make: soups, curry sauces, cake batters, bread dough, chocolate mousse, cocktails, juices and protein smoothies. Initially I was unsure about the auto IQ option, I thought it was just a gimick. Having used the auto IQ options for a variety of sauces, soups and drinks I can say I have been suitably impressed by these options! Everything I have made, even my curry sauce which I thought was already quite accomplished, comes out the perfect consistency. The blender takes ice, nuts, spices, powders/flours, hard fruits and veg in its stride; nothing has turned up lumpy or proved too difficult for the blender to handle. This is due to the 1500w motor and the super sharp blades. As far as blenders go, this is the best one I have ever had the pleasure of using.Maintenance and care:The components are a dream to wash, just run them under the tap immediately after using. I am a bit of a germ-a-phobe so I do a follow up wash in a sink of hot soapy water. The base unit is easily kept clean with a damp cloth or anti-bac wipe. The components are also dishwasher safe for those of you privy to such luxury.Cons:Whilst this is an impressive bit of kit, it does have a few cons as would be expected. The most notable would be the noise it creates, this thing is LOUD. However I do believe this is due to its powerful motor which is so powerful I have to hold the base unit still as it tends to travel across my kitchen side, another potential downside. As someone with a small kitchen I do find the machine somewhat cumbersome and all the various parts take up space, some kind of "stackability" would improve the experience. The inability to use hot ingredients is a drawback when pushed for time although not a deal breaker for me personally.Overall I am absolutely thrilled with this machine, I can't imagine life without it. I use it every single day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

DISCLAIMER: Ninja provided a review sample for testing, however my review is fully honest and I have fully tested the blender. A video review will soon be released on my channel.Pros:- Well packaged- Crushes ice easily- Easy to use and a lot of settings to choose from- Easy to clean and no hard to reach spots- SafeCons:- Loud- HeavyFull Review:Upon receiving it, I was surprised by the size of the box. However, unboxing the blender was simple, every component was well packaged and clearly labelled. The blender itself requires some basic assembly and comes with multiple cups, lids etc...What I immediately noticed was how well designed the blender is.For example the lid locks perfectly into place and has a safety mechanism where the blender itself will not turn on unless the lid is properly sealed, or the fact that the blades run alongside a verticle pole which allows it to "more efficiently" blend. The Nutri Ninja Blender Duo is by no means cheap, but also not expensive. It fits into most consumers budgets in my personal opinion. Shakes/Smoothies cost around four to five pounds in most places. By my estimations, it costs only around one to two pounds to buy the ingredients to make your own shake. I drink a shake every day, so over the course of a year this would save me a thousand pounds! Well worth the price for a safe blender that can properly crush ice.Now every product has a few cons, and this one has a few that are expected but may deter a lot of people from purchasing it. It is heavy, and by heavy I mean close to ten pounds heavy. This isn't too important for anyone who has a stable home, but if you are a student such as myself, be prepared to figure out how you will move it around, as stuffing it in a bag will most likely be a pain. The second con is how loud it is. I currently live in a small studio apartment, and I've found that using the blender in the morning is unbearable due to how loud it is. I wear headphones while using it most of the time! This is of course due to the 1500W power of the motor and how fast the blades crush the ice. I am not sure if other blenders have managed to avoid this, but be ready for some noise. So if you live with relatives or anyone who likes to sleep in, making shakes in the morning may be impossible for you, keep that in mind.In conclusion, this is an excellent blender that will match most consumers needs, however be wary that it is heavy and loud, making it unusable during sleeping hours and difficult to transport. It is well packaged, easy to clean and a powerful safe blender. It is well priced in my opinion and I strongly recommend it.PS: If anything in my review is not covered or if anyone has had different experiences with this blender please let me know so I can test it out and update my review. I received my ninja blender duo about a month ago. I have used many different blenders/smoothie makers in the passed and nothing has come close to the efficiency and versatility of the nutri ninja blender! Its so easy to use just press the relevant button - the pre set auto iq features seem to work really well! it's made me a lot more adventurous with new meals and recipes especially with the use of social media for great ideas to make in the ninja. It feel solid and is great quality - It literally blitzes anything which speeds up making smoothies as fruit and veg don't need to be chopped and prepped before just chuck them in!It comes with 3 sizes of cup which is great depending on what you are making I used the large one for a couple of portions of soup and the smaller for personal smoothies, drinks and sources. They are all dishwasher safe and easy to clean and all come with lids which makes them easy to take out the door with you for an on the go meal. Also included in the box is a large pitcher - it's great size means making larger batches/blending more at a time is possible - so far I have used this to host a cocktail party using it to blend iced drinks! It is a great addition in making this product so versatile. Looking at the nutri ninja range on their website I would like to be able to purchase more accessories like this - such as the food processor. It would then mean that this one product would replace many in my kitchen. I like that it's neat and looks good on the side so I can leave it out permanently- this means I am much more likely to use it that something deep at the back of my kitchen cupboard! The negatives to this is definitely the noise and if someone is asleep in bed I would not want to use it - but I guess this is because the motor is so powerful which really makes a difference to end results of smoothies. It's also a lot bulkier than other smoothie makers so if you are just looking for a small compact smoothie maker this is not for you - for me this is not an issues as it is so much more than just a smoothie maker - especially with the addition of the pitches and if you can include other attachments. I would also like a bigger recipe and ideas book to come with the product - I've gained most my inspiration from the Internet their website has some great ideas which would be good if they were included in the product booklet. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

After using a variety of blenders, I can honestly say Ninja is by far my favourite. It does not struggle to break down frozen fruits, nuts or ice (which my blenders in the past have). The Ninja Blender Duo 1500W creates smooth and creamy textures in minutes. I often make banana ice cream and I found that with the ability to vary the speeds the ice cream was much smoother as it ensured all the ingredients were fully incorporated. In my other blender the texture is often lumpy due to the inability for the blade to reach all the ingredients. The Ninja blender is really stable which means that when it is breaking down more solid foods it does not need holding. In the past I have had to hold my blender to stop it vigorously vibrating towards the edge of the kitchen counter. Another thing which stood out to me, is that the lid of the Ninja is super secure. This means that making soup is simple and I have no fear that the lid might shoot off and the hot soup will go everywhere (it has happened before in my other blender). The variety of speeds also ensures that should you want to keep some vegetable chunks in your soup you can. The size of attachments allows you to make smaller or larger batches of the dish without you having to split the mix into sections to blend it. Finally, I really noticed the speed of the Ninja Blender; it creates smooth and creamy textures in minutes. This is due to the high power of this machine. I thoroughly recommend the Ninja Blender Duo 1500W, it makes cooking a whole lot more efficient. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I love this blender! Over the years I have owned quite a few blenders but nothing has been as powerful as this one. It may be a little loud (sorry neighbours) and bulky but it is completely worth it for the amazing things you can create with it. I have only had it a week and already used it to create a few things including soup, smoothies, nicecream and energy balls. This blender comes with a 2 litre jug that uses a triple blade to ensure that everything is evenly blended. Please be careful with this blade when washing it as it is very sharp! I don't have a very powerful food processor so I have used this jug and the 'pulse' setting to create energy balls and raw brownies, due to the 1500w power it has created the best energy balls I've ever had in under a minute! The blender also has 3 different size cups with a single extractor that is perfect for making smoothies and juices in the morning (it crushes frozen fruit in seconds), they also double as travel cups so you can just blend and go! There are quite a few different settings on this blender so make sure you use the booklet provided for the best results. I love using the Ultra Blend setting for smoothies and the Puree setting for soup.As someone who is constantly creating new recipes, I would definitely recommend this Nutri Ninja high performance blender! I can safely say I have never used a blender that works so quickly! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I used my old blender everyday and regularly blended frozen fruit, leafy greens, nuts etc. My old blender simply wasn't powerful enough, and I knew I needed a stronger model that could cope with my daily blending. This blender is perfect for the job! The different settings are such a good idea, and it's great when you don't have to be standing by the whole time because the blender is doing all the work! The motor is really powerful and makes light work of tough ingredients.I'm currently at university and the cups (in varying sizes) are perfect to make a quick smoothie that I can take with me on the go. I can make smoothies/juices in big batches or individually, to be drunk at home or out and about!Though the blender is loud, as other reviews have mentioned, this is standard with high-speed blenders and the Ninja is certainly not the loudest blender I've heard.I highly recommend the Duo Blender if you regularly make smoothies, juices, nut butters, ice cream, sauces etc. Having owned a number of blenders in the past, I can tell you that the Ninja performs brilliantly in terms of power and convenience. I can't think of anything that the Nutri Ninja lacks and it is all round a fantastic blender! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Having only ever used cheap blenders beforehand I didn't know what I was missing! This product has been a revelation! I previously owned a small personal smoothie maker blender, which I used for only smoothies, because that is about all it could manage - even then it would leave lumps and bits, and could no way cope with nuts or hard fruits/vegetables.Since getting this Nutri Ninja product I have been able to put whatever I want into my smoothies including nuts and dried fruit, and every time it blends to such a smooth consistency.I have also used this product to make the smoothest soups (the big 2 litre jug is a godsend to be able to do it in one go instead of batches)and also for dry goods (I have made crumble topping in seconds). My most recent use was to make falafel - it made light work of mixing the ingredients. The 3 sized smoothie cups included are brilliant, no more making too much or too little - I can pick whichever size I like and make just enough, and the Auto IQ settings take all the stress and work out of it - just one touch of a button and the machine does it all for you!Overall a really, REALLY brilliant product and definitely worth it! If you are unsure on whether or not to purchase the above -to me it is a no-brainer! An absolutely amazing product that's easy to use and extremely efficient. There are numerous features that make this blender stand out, such as its ability to crush ice, the 'pulse' function which is brilliant for making soups and the 1500 Watts ensure a smooth and consistent end product. I normally worry about how easy a blender is to clean but this product comes apart easily and being dishwasher proof makes the whole process stress free. The blade is extremely sharp so be careful when removing and be aware of young children can access the device! The only aspect of the blender which people should be aware of is the noise generated when using it.The impressive power of this product does mean that it is noisy! This is not an issue for me personally but it is something to be aware of. Although the price of this product may seem a little high I would definitely recommend it and would say that it is money well spent. This blender comes with many features and it is extremely user friendly. There is even a few recipes included to get you started!Overall 10/10! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have to say that when I ordered this, I did not expect it to be quite as good as it is.It is easy to move with the release suckers on the feet, I have not tried all of the things that this machine is capable of, but I can say that the smoothie operation works a treat. Its really easy to clean, just have to be a little careful with the blade, as it is sharp.... but the warnings are there if you read them. There are good sized containers that comes with this, and you can get loads in the big jug! I have never had an all singing dancing blending machine like this before, I hope this machine lives forever, but when the time comes and I need to replace it (and I hope it will go on for a long time yet, specially as I have just got it) I will without a doubt try to get a replacement the same as this.On the print out it said to allow 5 days for the delivery, in fairness it was a Bank Holiday weekend, I was totally shocked when Parcel Force delivered the next morning!!Get this, I don't think that anyone will be disappointed!!!Read full review...

At first I thought it was all very high tech with lots of buttons but it's pretty user friendly, and easy button applie to what food type or level of blend you desire - and the nutri ninja does the rest! I love having the choice of the jug if I'm making smoothies for the family & the personal blender makes for an easy take to work breakfast smoothie, where you just swop the blending lid for a twist cap. I use my nutri ninja almost on a daily basis, from simple things like blitzing protein shakes, and as a quick and convenient cheat for mixing pancake batter, or in some cases for cakes. The auto iQ eliminates that awkward bit when the mixture gets stuck, instead it knows to pulse to get everything moving again and blitzes when ready! Like all blenders it's pretty noisy, that's a given, but it does make life a lot more convenient. As far as blenders go, it's definitely the best I have tried so far. The nutrininja first caught my attention at health & wellbeing expo, i was immediately impressed by this bit of kitchen kit! But at the time I wasn't convinced enough, that The price tag was worth the investment, as Id already purchased a nutribullet, so when I eventually got my hands on one I was thrilled, my first thoughts after taking out the box was how robust & good quality it was, I immediately set it to work, being a cook/baker, I really put the machine through its paces, whipping, chopping, blending, crushing. It stood up impressively well!! It delivered as a good, all round food processor and not just an expensive smoothie maker. It was Easy to use & importantly for me it cleans up great too as I don't have a dishwaher!!I would definitely Recommend the nutrininja, For me it ticks all the boxes where the nutribullet seems to have failed to deliver for! I love it!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I’ve had the blender for about a week now and used it at least once a day for veggie and fruit smoothies. It has cut threw everything i’ve thrown at it and quickly.Pluses:1) The information as above.2) Very easy to clean. The blade is detachable. If you rinse straight away it takes at most 30 seconds to rinse the main jug, it’s lid and blade.3) Safety feature - as soon as you press the release button on top of the lid, the blender stops quickly before the lid is removed even if you haven’t turned off the machine.3) Three rows of blades on main stem and they are very sharp. Be careful!!!!!4) Very easy to use for my purposes.5) Impressed with the number of extras you get. 6) Only my opinion of course, but I think a very good price for a quality machine and what you get.Minuses:I can’t honestly think of any. I didn’t even think it was particularly noisy.

I am a big fan of these blenders and I am very pleased to have bought this version of it. For our needs it has been perfect. The big 2l jar is excellent but keep in mind it is not easy to add ingredients during a blend cycle. There is a spout with a limited opening. Not a huge issue. The multiple blade design gives an excellent blend. Drinks have more flavour than a single bottom blade we think because more air gets into the blend. Mincing and chopping are excellent. Also we did a few recipes from the included booklet and were surprised how good they were, especially the meatballs! This thing is not cheap, not small and you need to find a place to store all the included bits. Bit in our crowded and busy house,it was worth the effort and has fit the bill perfectly.

The ninja has really excellent functionality and design - every little detail has been considered from easy cleaning to making sure the cap on the drinks bottle snaps open. A real eye for detail. I’ve used it every day to make smoothies, iced tea, frappes etc. and it was a great purchase. I highly recommend it. My only negative is the base unit is quite big and we have a small kitchen so it takes up a fair bit of space in the cupboard. We tried to get the slightly smaller model but it had sold out and this one is brilliant. Never been so enthusiastic about a utensil before but then we are in lockdown so I have little else to get excited about.
