This blender is very easy to operate. The jug locks in position when in use, but can easily be removed from the base for washing up. The blades can be removed from the jug so they can be washed thoroughly. The lid also locks in position for safe use..I use it for blending soup, it holds a good quantity, and it doesn't take long to make perfectly smooth soup. . Make sure to allow soup to cool before blending to avoid damaging the plastic jug and reheat it afterwards. A perfect buy for me.

This was bought to replace an Argos "Value Range" model which, by comparison, sounds like a cement mixer with clapped out bearings when running and had successfully woken up the entire household on more than one occasion.The extra 150 watts of power certainly makes a difference, is extremely quiet when operating and powers through the toughest of raw vegetables for my boy's body-building protein shake even if the end result does look like a jug full of snot! ;-) .

I have used various blenders in the last 3 years which just stopped working while blending, and the last one I bought only lasted about a month before it stopped working. That was when I decided to get Kenwood cause my folks are currently using one that has been working since I was young, and on geting this blender you can even tell from the power used to blend that it sure will last for a while. Top marks for this

I wouldn't be without my liquidiser. It was in constant use over Christmas and New Year. It works well, looks smart on my kitchen worktop and is, quite simply, , invaluable, It liquidises vegetables for delicious soups, purees berries for ice-cream toppings, -I strain this to remove pips - grates Parmesan cheese and nuts for baking. These are just a few of its uses . Fabulous!

Bought mainly to make smoothies and the occasional blending. Blends well and has large capacity sturdy jug. Easy to clean and easy to remove blade. I’m sure a dedicated smoothie maker would obviously make things smoother so you will have ‘texture’ but we don’t mind that. Used for about 3 wks and no problems. Haven’t used the ice crushing function yet. would recommend.

Compact and stands in the corner without taking up room. Sturdy and durable, (haven't used the ice feature yet but have no concerns when I do) Easy to clean, just unscrew at bottom of the jug and rinse blade under the tap, and the jug through. Jug size is 1litre/2pints. Threw in a chopped up coconut for some coconut milk and no problems.

I purchased this blender as a replacement for my old one which I had for almost 30 years. I found the choice to be like a minefield and with the reviews I was able to make a good choice. Simple and very sturdy. So far I have only used for soups and I am impressed and very pleased with the results. Value for money.

My old blender broke after 15 years and I was looking for a similar simple but good quality blender. It is very easy to use and easy to clean. Very happy with the job it does. The only downside is that the plastic jar seems thin and fitting the jar occasionally gets a bit tricky. Overall, it is a good product.

This replaced my old Kenwood which i have had for many years. This one is almost Identical. Have only used it once as recently purchased so hope it will last as long. I do Like Kenwood Products , hence giving it 5 stars. . I have a Juicer (Kenwood which i have had for over 12 years.).

Good for making soup, which is what it was wanted for. Suction feet stop it moving about on work surface. User instructions somewhat cursory (to make an understatement), No guidance on whether it can be used as a grinder - is this what the "X" means in the "Blend-X" name update???

I wanted a simple food blender with reasonable capacity and am not disappointed. This blender looks good in the kitchen, is well made and the plastic jug seems robust. It’s been great making breadcrumbs and smoothies so far. Reasonable price so pleased with this purchase.

Light weight jug combined with a powerful motor and an easy connect system to the base.There are suckers to keep it in place and reduce vibrations.Makes easily thick soups and frozen fruit smoothies.Easier to clean as well than my last blender.Worth every penny

Good size blender for blending larger quantities of veg. Or fruit. Lightweight jug which is easy to screw into it's base wirh good seal so no risk of leaking. Also good for crushing ice. Base a little bulky. I much prefer this to the glass model. Overall easy to use.

It's okay.When I saw the picture of the attachment bit I know for sure that, they will come with it.But to my surprise, they didn't .Neither did they say any thing about it at all.Why this images if that's not all what you will get but only part of what you see.

It's neatly designed - holds on helpfully to the surface with its little feet - and copes with a decent volume of soup ingredients. It seems pretty sturdy, indeed my mum has owned one for years with no problem, and the jug comes apart very helpfully for washing up.
