Normal two slice toasters can’t accommodate anything but the smaller size bread slices, but this can.With it’s much longer slots the largest slices can be placed in on their side, so you have a completely toasted result.Why Kenwood, well it’s an attractive design, with the added facility to allow inspection of the bread during toasting without interruption of the heating cycle, good name, good price and a 12 month factory warranty.

I bought this model because I wanted one with a "high lift" as I usually buy loaves that produce small slices. Tired of burning my fingers trying to extricate toast!I really like the "lift and peek" facility this also has. Toast cooked evenly.

This is a very good toasterI had the same one before and used it for 7 yrsI hope this one also lasts that long.Its very sleek and neat looking and good quality too.

The two major factors I was after were:1) Even toasting - this is excellent2) large slots - this has 9"/22cm slots and is wonderful.Great value for money.
