This is a simple, lightweight, stylish looking 2 slot toaster - very easy to operate with a crumb tray that is just as easy to remove and replace. The buttons and dials are responsive with a nice clicky resistance to the temperature dial for better accuracy. The defrost and reheat buttons light up when activated, whereas the cancel button lights up once you put something in to toast. The wide slots of the toaster allow you a little view into the cooking process, so if you think it's getting browner than you would like, you can cancel the process.I discovered having the temperature dial at 3 was more than adequate for average thickness bread to be moderately brown.

I have had this toaster for month now and it is excellent. It is super easy to use and toasting is very even across the whole surface of the bread. It comes out dry and 'toasty' rather than moist as it has with previous toasters I have owned. The functions work really well and it has coped with all kinds of widths - bagels, thick cut bread and also toasted tea cakes. I am very impressed with it. I also like how sturdy it is and the sleek design. I am quite discerning and was keen to find a toaster that looked classy and cool in my kitchen. Would definitely recommend! I have the black version of this toaster and it looks really nice in person. Black with chrome accents and a range of different textures – classy! I like the variable browning function too, so perfect toast, everytime! Should you have any crumbs that fall through, they’ll be caught by the crumb tray – removal is quick and easy. The frozen setting, means no need to defrost your bread first for ease and convenience and there’s even a handy reheat function too. The design could be a little more exciting especially for the price, hence the 4 stars. Finally, the cancel, reheat and defrost buttons are illuminated – perfect!

At requested my daughter sent me as a present for my 80th birthday the Morphy Richards - Equip Black Pearl Stainless Steel 2 slice toaster. Ii is a smart looking toaster to grace anyone's kitchen and has many great features. I particularly like the removable crumbs tray, which is so easy to use. The variable browning control I find is important for the right cooking amount to suit my taste. Other helpful features also include both the defrost and re-heat settings. I bought this earlier today after my previous toaster decided to blow up. This toaster was reasonably priced and I liked the colour and the fact it isn’t too big and does not take up a lot of room in my kitchen.Although toasters are not exactly the hardest appliances to use, some of the ones I was looking at had a large array of settings which were not necessary. This toaster has a simple set up which I like as I want to just get up pop my toast down and go to work.All in all I am very happy with the purchase! :) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This toaster has so far nothing wrong with it. I have used it daily for a while or so. And it has an electric mechanism which makes absolutely quiet when toasting. Ordinary sized bread works fine. Heats up super fast so no waiting in the mornings when your in a rush.A simple but effective toaster Nice little toaster that is pretty quick at toasting. Some slices need a little encouragement to fit but once in they toast nicely. I've not used the defrost function yet, and don't anticipate I will - I don't freeze bread or bread like products.

I bought this unit to replace a 4 slice toaster as there is only 2 of us at home now. The operation of the toaster is simple and accurate and has features for frozen bread and reheating. The level of toasting control is very easy with a rotating knob( we found No 3 to be perfect) the pop up feature is far better than other toaster I’ve owned as it ejects slowly but keeps the toast in the toaster, other toasted I’ve used have launched toast around the kitchen. This toaster exceeds all the others I have ever had. Not only does it take large fat rolls/buns in the very wide slot, but also toast very thin slices of bread evenly. I have 'refreshed' thin crisps breads in it too! The defrost button is marvellous for a sliced bread straight from the freezer to make sandwiches in a hurry. The stop button works instantly, and the push up lever for removing small items from the toaster saves burnt fingers! A great multi functional toaster, I highly recommend it!

My old cheap toaster started to play up - the plug blew cutting off the power to the downstairs plug circuit. I replaced it with a cheap (and elegant looking) Cookworks toaster. The same thing happened so I got an electrician in. No circuit problem but surge through the cheaper toasters was more than circuit could cope with. Suggested I buy a more expensive branded model. No problems returning toaster to Argos . No problem so far with this toaster. More robust, easy to use and does the job.

We love this toaster now and have found it to be a superior product. I addition to this the stylish color matches our kitchen worktops and we were able to find a matching kettle in the same Black Pearl design. It toasts perfectly and quickly and is easy to clean tip it up tap the bottom and wipe the outside with a damp cloth is all that is required. Good looking toaster, easy to get toast out after toasting. I like that the cancel button lights up when the toast is down; this makes it easy to find. I also like that you can just about see into the toaster from the top to see how it's doing. This toaster suffers from the common problem of not toasting one side of the bread as much as the other but this does not bother me as both sides are crispy. Fits the Morrison's own brand wholemeal bread that I use easily.

This is a great toaster, It has extra wide slots for thicker slices of bread, and you can also use it for pancakes, bagels etc.It goes well with our other appliances it being black and it is made of very strong material and is very robust.We are very pleased with this Morphy Richards Toaster, and as our old one was on It's last legs, it came at a very opportune moment.It may be a bit on the expensive side but you can certainly see the quality.

This works great and outcome which is toasted bread is evenly toasted and takes almost half the amount of time than my earlier toaster to get the job done.Happy with the way it looks and material used which is stainless steel which is brilliantFor me, this is an high end toaster which is definitely worst buying as one time and long term investigation. Evenly toasted breads won't disappoint you :-)

Easy to use, no frills 2 x slice toaster. Toasts well on low setting. Accommodates thick sliced bread easily.My only negative is that the indicator for the setting on the knob is a small groove. When this is set at 1 it is extremely difficult to see what setting it is on. A marker on the surface of the dial would improve use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Purchased this toaster as a replacement for my old one, and I am very impressed with it! You can easily adjust the timer for the toaster and the button to eject the bread shines with a blue LED during toasting so its very easy to cancel if needed.
