Only had it a few weeks but very pleased with it. Does what a toaster is supposed to do and well. Toasts evenly and easy to control browning level, the browning knob clicks as you turn it which should stop accidentally turning it by mistake. The slots are wide so can get extra thick bread slices and crumpets in. I personally like the look of the design but it might not be to everyone's taste. The materials feel like good quality.The slots could do with being deeper or made longer, a problem many toasters suffer from. With premium sliced loaves the top of the bread will stick up above the heating element and will not brown.

After using the toaster I found lots of things to like about it. Firstly the walls stay cool to touch when in use, the dial to change the browning setting actually clicks into place so you know you have definitely changed the setting. The colour was consistent on every slice of toast I made, from the first to the last and it is quick to toast. The crumb tray is easily accessible and you just shake the crumbs into the bin. I actually prefer this toaster over my very expensive one because of the consistency of the toast colour and the cool walls.

Not perfect but a decent toaster given the price. I still have to 'flip & reverse' the bread half way through to get a nice even toast - but I've had to do this with every toaster I have bought.I would have preferred the toaster to be a little deeper - I often buy Hovis Wholemeal bread (medium) and this sits just level to the top of the toaster when in the toasting position - not ideal for me but not a deal breaker either.Very small and light in weight compared to my previous toaster

This is a great looking piece of kit with a well laid out set of buttons and a dial for the browning level. The only reason that this doesn't get 5 stars is that the dial indicator (what number it's pointing at) is hard to see as it's just an indentation in the plastic. I have to get up close to see where it's pointing. That minor niggle aside, the slots are wide and deep enough for the bread we buy and it toasted quickly and evenly. Love this stylish Black 2 slice Toaster, it’s a god send with the defrost button, I’m always forgetting to get the bread out to defrost. It has a variable browning dial, so you can control the way you want it toasted.Easy removable trays to keep the toaster clean.It easily takes thick bread and crumpets with ease and there is a reheat option if you forget the toast. It also has a neat cord storage at the bottom so there is no need to have the cord trailing on the worktop.

We use this most days and overall pleased with it. It is easy to keep clean, looks good, not too big. It takes large slices of bread and crumpets. We usually toast one slice of bread and find one side slightly more browned, but not a big deal. The only negative is that it isn't easy to see the no. the bread is being toasted on. We usually use no.3 and leave it there, but it was slightly inconvenient at the beginning with me using a torch and magnifying glass to choose the no.!

Bought this matching Morphy Richards kettle & toaster for an elderly friend. She absolutely loves them, the design and colour would fit in any colour scheme plus they are both very easy to operate & all the functions are quite clear. The only down side is that you no longer get instructions in the boxes, you have to go online & while I understand this is to save paper/planet, but a lot of the elderly don’t know how or don’t have access to a computer/online & live alone.

This is a lovely modern looking toaster. It is very light but this does not detract from the quality. It toasts bread just as you would expect of a toaster. A brilliant feature is the stop button which ejects the toast part way through cooking if you want to. Being able to make toast from frozen bread is another good feature. All in all a great toaster, the grey and white look good together. It only loses a star because I would prefer a darker colour.

I bought this toaster when my old 'value' toaster (of 6 years) went kaput.The toaster does the job well. I normally keep my white bread in the freezer. The bread toast to light brown on number 4 from frozen. The browning is darker on one side of the bread than the other but I am not at all fussed about it.The slots are large and deep enough for the standard supermarket 800g rectangular loaf of medium sliced bread. Could take thick slices, too.

I am well impressed with this purchase, it’s had a great quality feel and I absolutely love the blue lights on the buttons (which do not feel fragile but so strong). It has made the perfect toast every time for the last month. It’s a really modern look which I love. I have to give this 10/10 on quality, look, and toast making. Great toaster with all the functionalities you need. It’s smart and aesthetically pleasing, would suit any kitchen. Because of its size it doesn’t take much of your worksurfaces and could easily fit inside a cupboard should you wish to store it away. A neat and tidy Toaster with a specification above and beyond its price range.Morphy Richards have excelled with the design features of this model. I really like theReheat Button which I find very useful when busy and my toast has gone cold!!This model provides everything you need to make the best toast from any type of bread. Overall it is a good quality toaster and it looks great too.

I've been looking for an affordable toaster that doesn't break down right away but is sleek enough to proudly display on my counter. The black ribbed finish looks awesome, and the toaster has all the functions I'd expect of a good quality toaster. No need to look further unless you're extremely specific about what you want. Purchased a week ago and really please with it, which is more than I can say about theManufacturer. No instruction booklet enclosed with the toaster,but a note on the box, an instruction to go on line to see the instructions.It would cost the company pence to do thisfor their customer,NOT VERY IMPRESSED WITH MORPHY RICHARDS ! I bought this toaster a month ago, along with a kettle from the same range. It is a very reliable product, quick to toast the bread and it has useful features such as reheat that you would expect. My only issue is I only need it on 3 to get very brown bread. I haven't tried higher but I imagine 6 would cremate it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
