We have been through many toasters from various manufacturers over 30+ years (not super expensive ones). This is solidly built, the slots are wide enough to easily take half a bagel and toast lifts high enough to get smallish pieces out.On month on, it is toasting bread consistently well. There is a simple dial setting with graduations up to 5, which equates fairly accurately to minutes.I think we may finally have found the ideal toaster - it even looks quite good - I just hope it lasts!

Would'nt have paid full price for this item but as it was in the sale thought I'd treat myself, also bought the matching kettle.As a whole the toaster is basic, you are paying for the name & design. There are no lights or fancy gimmicks. The 'colour selector' is for both slots & there is a defrost button & a cancel button. It does fit 'tall' bread & toasts evenly. It does what a toaster is supposed to do but we mainly bought it for its 'look' which looks great in our black & white kitchen.

Had one before, same make and 4 slice but with separate controls for each side. Served us well - over 10 years. Have had this one a couple of weeks and found it to be just as good and the additional controls unnecessary for us as we all like middle of the road brown toast! Have read a review that says it is a very big toaster - it is what you would expect from a 4 slice. Imagine your 2 slice toaster, double and a little less. Glad we got this one and it does look good on the side.

The first thing I looked for in this toaster was if it was big enough to take a bread slice from a large loaf, yes it does, just. The design is very good and it is quite stylish, also the controls are nice and clear and easy to set for toasting times and once you know what to set for you toast or crumpets etc. it is plain sailing. A good all round unit that will do exactly what you expect, hopefully for a long time to come, an extended guarantee is advisable though if well used.

I've tried several different toasters since my old one broke down. This is the first with which you can brown a full slice of bread uniformly standing in either portrait or landscape position. It will also take bread cut from an unsliced loaf. In truth it's a little too decorative for our taste or kitchen but as we keep it in a cupboard when not in use this is not a problem. It would benefit from having separate browning controls for each side. I would recommend this product.

I bought this item just over two weeks ago & I could not be more happy with this toaster. I've had a Delonghi 4 Toaster before which had lasted for over 10yrs & they are remarkably reliable. I think the day in/out use had worn out a couple of the elements,but this new one I now have, is stylish, light in weight, better constructed, so responsive & very quick with very little noise. I'd definitely make a recommendation to anyone who wants to make a purchase.

Just had kitchen re-vamped and this toaster together with the matching kettle suit perfectly. However, even though this toaster is dearer than ones I've purchased in the past I'm finding it quite slow in comparison, even on a low setting. Seems to dry out the bread as well, but maybe it will just take getting used to. On the whole, really pleased with how it looks and once I've sussed the best heat setting etc. I'm sure I'll be more than pleased with it.

Firstly the build quality and finish on this toaster are second to none. As soon as you open the packaging you realise this is a quality product. Toasts really well and handles the majority of tall sliced bread.Warburtons Toaster Loaf is a touch too tall so the top cm in only lightly toasted but not a problem.The downside is that the timer triggers the eject sequence on both sides at the same time, regardless of how long each side has been down for.

So love the look of this 100% When it come to toasting bread its uneven sometines i take the bread out and flip it to the opposite side. I had already known this before i bought as id had the black version for a couple years, it never broke though i just wanted the white toaster and kettle Oviously the uneven toasting doesnt bother me that much or i wouldnt of bought it again. So i do recomend this toaster because it looks stunning

This was a request purchase from my son and his girlfriend as a house warming gift... we had them both at home and he loved them and wanted them to look super fancy in his own home...they both had to sit together on the counter top as they looked so fab! what a compliment for my taste ... they do both work exceptionally well...good taste, good looks and good functionality and price what more could you ask for ....without doubt a goer!

bought this to match my kettle. it is great i put the thick large slices of bread in and it fits. all of the bread is toasted..you can put two slices of bread in and it will only heat the elements up with the bread in. only niggle i can find , on my last toaster. you could adjust the browning strength on the two separate sides of the toaster ie you could have two slices lighter than the other two this browns all the 4 slices evenly.

I already owned the Kettle & Toaster in Black so when I decided upon moving house to want new in Silver or White my search began. And I kept being drawn back to what I already own but in White & I’m so glad I did because they look amazing in my kitchen!My only negative for the toaster has always been your standard sized bread doesn’t all get toasted. It’s not an issue though just do it for a minute then flip it over!x

I bought this for my daughter as she had wanted it for ages. I have one the same so I know it works perfectly. It toasts any thickness of bread perfectly. The ability to toast just two slices at a time is excellent and saves electricity. The dial to select the degree of toasting is marvellous as you can choose exactly how you like your toast. An excellent toaster and well worth paying a little more for the quality.

Looks very slick and stylish in the kitchen. I am very pleased with the way this toaster works, from the optional browning choice to the way it pops up after toasting. Option of thick and thin bread and we have toasted both without a problem. My Children however have also tried to toast their hot cross buns on a light setting and they didn't come out too bad either. Very pleased with this purchase. Happy Toasting.

VERY PLEASED with this GREAT BUY. LOOKS TOPS & OPERATES so SMOOTHLY. After 2 weeks I'm still trying to get used to the exact setting required to achieve consistent browning although you can cancel it. Definitely among the best I've had though but I would have liked each set of slots to have individual control buttons to enable me to cook individual requirements at the same time. Nevertheless, a lovely toaster.
