Cover pressed over mixer head in the raised position is then lowered over bowl to totally cover it. There is a lift-up section of the lid to allow for ingredients to be added. Excellent for mixing batters, stops splashing outside the bowl. When mixing with icing sugar some dust escapes but very little compared to without the lid. Good value and worthwhile addition to your mixer.

I like the idea of the splashguard lid and I find it works well with my stainless stell bowl without any handles.It does not fit snug on the plastic bowl that has handles on it, so I have to be extra caeful in using it.thanks

Excellent splashguard replacing my shattered and selotaped together one. Fits a treat and am delighted to still obtain a replacement for this old model, my kitchen workhorse.

Amazing service and speedy delivery. Careful when using as the flap on the side folds down into the bowl. Hence me needing this replacement ?

I've had my other one for a number of years but I broke it and needed a replacement this is the same make and I'll be careful this time

Very good fits very well for a old machine.Was not happy with the post it came in a plastic bag could off ease broken.
