Admittedly only used this for first time today but am really pleased.Worked well with medium thickness bread with a filling of continental cheese slices and thinly sliced tomatoes. Setting the timer to two and a half minutes was about right, then per instructions I left the sandwich in for a further minute whilst the toaster was off to allow the filling to warm through further (there's a surprising amount of residual heat) ... result.. golden crispy bread on the outside with cheese perfectly melted inside.I think the cage will also be good for supporting smaller items which I may want to toast, which would otherwise be difficult to remove from the toaster.I consider this is a very worthwhile

If, like me, you enjoy a toasted sandwich then this a great tool for your Daulit light toaster. Simply place your sandwich in the grating and lower it into the toasting slot. This will leave you with a beautifully toasted sandwich that tastes as good as it looks. My favorite is cheddar cheese and ham with crusty white bread. Just a word of warning - don't overload your sandwich with cheese or you will end up with a gooey mess inside your toaster. Overall, a superb gadget that will produce yummy toasted sandwiches every time.

We have installed a new kitchen at our dive club. The very old Dualit toastie maker was removed(against my wishes) and replaced with an ordinary toaster.When I found the sandwich cages on the internet I ordered 4.They fit inside our toaster and last week on our club night "The Toastie returned".And very popular they were!!!

I bought this as an extra to the three slot toaster, which in the toaster description doesn't have one, on receipt of the toaster however I found the sandwich cage already in the box; so I now make two toasted sandwiches at the same time.If I'd known there was one already in with the toaster I wouldn't have bought one.

Good quality item, but very small cages, so did not work for us. Too bad it seems like you either buy a quality item that doesn't function that well (like this one) or a cheap quality item that is more fit for purpose.

Great way to make hot sandwiches in a toaster. Easy to use and quick. However, the price is a bit high for a product like this. Doesn't look strong enough to last for very long.

However, if you buy a toaster at the same time, check if sandwich cages are already included. My 4-slot toaster came with two, which was all I really wanted.

This is a really good product and is made to a quality standard, just like the toaster.....I did not know I could have so much fun with a Toaster!

Nicely made sandwich cage but doesn't hold all the fillings in if there is cheese.considering buying another but it is cumbersome where i keep it.

This simple gadget works well and produces outstanding results. It is easy to use and more importantly, to clean and produces really tasty snacks.

Every now and then you’ll get a chunky slice of sourdough and who has only one slice of toast? No one, so you’ll need at least a second frame.

Really did not think these would work without a lot of mess...But they do and you have lovely toasted sandwiches all from your toaster.

Good product, makes nice toasties, but have to use thin slices of bread and very little filing or it will not fit into the slot.

fantastic buy no more stuck pancakes in the toaster. also can fit 2 slices of bread to do a toasted sandwich very quick & easy
