I own the AL806240 model and was unsure if this would fit, but it does.After taking the actifry apart and not finding an exact replacement for my model number, I took a chance on this purchase. While I waited for delivery, I took the original motor apart, (if its broken I may as well have a look). This consisted of several cogs, a magnet, plastic clutch and the metal casing. Before I took the motor apart there was black residue on the main spindle. After cleaning up this black grease and using some of the remaining grease to lubricate the areas I just cleaned, I hooked it back up and low and behold it started working again.I compared the original motor (grey one one in photo) against the new one (yellow one)

The dreaded day came when my Actifry stopped, after the cries of we will have to get a new one and the cries over the price. Motor I thought so I happened to try a repair. This item is well worth the small cost it came quickly and well packaged was fitted in minutes ( remove the outer cooling fan cover first though , it's on snap clips )and is still going strong after a lot of use I would reccomend this item and company for this as well as future parts needs it saved me ouite a bit of cash and heartache.

Who would have thought it? You can buy enough genuine parts to keep your actifry going for ever! Ours broke after 3 years of almost daily use and once I had managed to diagnose the issue and remove the covers it took me 2 minutes to replace the faulty motor, for less than a tenner!!! Not only was the motor and shaft a genuine part, but it was delivered early! We have saved the cost of a replacement actifry and we know this part will last for at least another 3 years. A GENUINE bargain!!

Saved a fortune with this little number! my Tefal was making the most horrendous 'grinding' noise when I switched it on,thought I was going to have to replace it then I discovered this and WOW ! its back to it's former glory, very easy to replace(and this is a womans' review!) lol however it doesn't come with a fitting tool not a problem...was able to find one on Amazon, recommend the seller, prompt delivery and well packaged, Thankyou!

I love my actifry and use it daily but the drive failed, no problem just ring Tefal and organise a repair. That would be fine but the robbing gits at Tefal wanted £65 to repair it and another £15 for postage. Hmm &^@!^%& that thought I and a quick check of amazon found this. It literally took 15 minutes tops to take the machine apart, swap the motor and re-assemble, it’s that easy and it saved me a bundle. Winner.

saved me from buying a new Actifry, very easy to replace after I looked it up on internet and you don't need special tools, only a small flat head screw driver so don't be fooled into buy any. Remember to replace the wires the same way you take them off as it would be easy to get them confused as they are the same colour. I would recommend buying this item to repair Actifry.

I'm sure these parts work very well, but the build quality on the original Tefal product is so poor that it is almost certain not to be this part that is at fault. If you have a Tefal that stops working and gives error messages etc the best thing is to bin it and start again. Over priced, poor reliability and usually unrepairable

Don't even think of throwing away your machine if it stops turning!! I almost did as I bought a new one, but the broken one was like new so thought I'd give it a bash ( 44 year old grandma) literally 5 torque screws to remove and this slides on and voila!! Good as new! Would highly recommend this item !!

When my tefal actifry broke down I looked up amazon to see how much a replacement might be and came across the motor and transmission shaft. I suspected that this was the problem with my fryer bought it, fitted it quite easily and now my fryer is working again and I have saved over £150.

This really is worth buying if your motor or spiget needs to be replaced...easy to fit and your back to cooking without the ex pence of a new actifry.. Delivery was quick and the goods well packaged...would buy from this seller again..no hesitation...

My Actifry was a lemon for a little while until I replaced the motor with this one.The motor is exactly the same as the one in the Actifry so it was really easy to replace the duff one with the new one!

It was a disaster when my Actifry stopped working so was really pleased when I found this motor on Amazon. My husband fitted it quite easily and the machine has worked well ever since.

need to know how to dismantle fryer to fit s no instructions but good once fitted. be careful not to damage actifryer casing when stripping down.

This item fixed my ActiFry. A new machine is expensive and I got the part for around £14.00 and was able to repair it myself.Highly recommend
