Great piece of kit I use at least 4-5 times a week, mostly for grinding my own spices for curries, etc.; but it is also good for chopping bread into breadcrumbs.Something of which to be aware is that the newer model has a ‘fixed’ blade, rather than the ‘lift-out’ blade as illustrated in one of the images… this makes the item, less easy to clean thoroughly. Having written that the newer model has a ‘fixed’ blade, it can be removed by unscrewing the drive spindle (intentionally to change/replace blade once it becomes worn), which is a minor embuggerance and makes it less convenient than the older style unit, with lift-out blade, but, nonetheless, it is possible.As at the date of writing this review (15 August 2019),

The small quantity is the virtue of this for me - I have a Magimix and a Cuisinart food processor, and even with the small bowls it is impossible to use these to chop very small quantities such as a couple of garlic cloves and a small piece of ginger for a curry or stir-fry for two people. The Bamix mills (I also have the "dry" mill and the SliceSy) are ideal for efficiently and economically processing such small quantities. I agree that my 200 watt Swissline would not have the power to process large quantities, but then, I would use the Magimix or Cuisinart food processors for large quantities, with the attendant additional washing up.

I'm lost without this. Have used it most days since its arrival. I went quite a while without a replacement after I mullered the original lid by accident. Bamix sent me the wrong mill when I originally reordered the replacement but they did not have the mill or lid I required. When I saw it on Amazon I was happy but I only really needed a lid. I was not really happy about the price & having to but an entire mill. It was expensive. So now I have two mill jars and one lid. I will have be more careful with this mill in future.

I have had a bamix food processor for over 10 years. It is still going strong with the exception of this part. I did shop around but Amazon offered a better deal in terms of price and the prompt delivery of the Bamix part. I use it extensively for pureeing onions, garlic/ginger for my curries and does a beautiful job. You can choose how smooth or course you want your vegetables. I also use it to grind nuts and spices too. A great product. Quick delivery and very good price too!

Good mill, very easy to use, closes easy and tight enough. For the info - it looks big on the picture but fits max. only 250 ml fluid.Someone suggested to not to use it with Bamix Gastro 350, it had to be too powerful. Well, I have now Bamix Gastro 200, and this is too weak, for example for crushing nuts in the pesto sauce.

This is a great attachment, ideal for making breadcrumbs or chopping other DRY ingredients. This was a replacement for one that we had washed on multiple occasions and the lubricant has leaked. This was our fault as we hadn’t read the instructions correctly. Please do not wash just wipe out.

I love the wet and mill and the hand held processor they are constantly in use for its purposes. I need spare parts for the wet and dry number 7691600497600091 shaft is this the correct part on display. please let me know as I cannot do without it

I use my Bamix loads. Makes sauces, mayonnaise, chops veg, baking ........everything. Was expensive to buy but well worth the money. Some accessories need replacing as I have had it for about 11 years. Great piece of equipment for the kitchen.

I like this mill. It works well and is the best thing I have found for making nut butter. I would like it to be a bit bigger, as it only does small quantities and sometimes the ingredients fall out if you open the top.

Arrived way earlier than expected. Really good product that plugs onto the whisk really easily. It ground my linseeds to a fine powder in a couple of minutes ready to make vegan egg. Washes out under the tap.

A Christmas present for my daughter whose original Bamix wet and dry had broken. Arrived quickly and works well. If you have a Bamix it is a necessary tool. Works really well for stuff like pesto or herbs.

Was bought to replace my previous one which jammed...but after 20 years plus I've no complaints. This does the job well and saves having to get out my larger processor when dealing with just small amounts

Fantastic gadget. Bought it about 20 years ago with the Bamix wand and then never used it. Rediscovered it about 8 years ago and can't do without it. Most useful bit of kitchen equipment I have.

Ease of using . I need this for all my cooking I can just reach for it use it rinse that’s it no need for big machines. Since I have bought this I have not used my kenwood chef for small jobs.

Very useful for quick small amounts eg. bread crumbs, grated cheese,caster sugar.have, the tried things like garlic or salsa as it does just as easily in a jug or beaker.over all very good.
