I was invited to a fancy dress party and decided to go as a pirate. I tried coat hangers and various other things but none were quite right. As the day of the party was rapidly approaching I decided to make use of expedited delivery and get one of these. In my family we like to bake our own bread but like everything else in life it's trying to find the time to do it. I have a kitchen aid mixer and purchased this dough hook as a valuable addition to my bread making process. Using the dough hook it saves time and energy in the mixing process. Does what it should in no time at all. The shape and design allow the hook to cut through the dough and mix it at the same time. While this is going on you can get on with other things or just have a cup of tea.

I have recently started using my dough hook as previously I enjoyed kneading by hand. Unfortunately due to problems with my wrists, I have had to give up the hand kneading. But I have been pleasantly surprised by how well the Kitchen Aid mixer with the dough hook works.

Had to replace my old dough hook as the white was coming off in chunks into my pizza dough....not a nice taste, I can assure you. This one may well do the same but for now its doing the job well and saving my arms....

I was pleased with the prompt delivery but as usual the kitchen aid attachments appear poor quality.I have had to replace attachments quite often where as my kenwood machine lasted 30 years of lots of use.

My old hook needed replacing as enamel had chipped. This product is ideal for making bread at home. Much nicer than any shop bought. A worthwhile investment.

Not used yet but it seems legit and it fits the mixer perfectly. Please note the person who said it doesnt fit 5KSM150 is wrong it does. Delivered early.

Purchased to complement mixer given to our daughter as a gift. As above was part of original equipment when we purchased our mixer many moons ago?

The dough hook arrived very promptly and is the genuine article. Good price, too. No complaints. We can recommend the vendor.

This is a really clever piece of kit which performs well on my kitchen aid although it is not made by the manufactuer.

Replacement for a lost original. Is of good quality and fits KitchenAid artisan model perfectly.

very well made item for bread making. The hook is in use often so has to be robust. Excellent.
