After the cogs breaking from the base part of my Kitchen Aid Liquidiser I thought all was lost and a new machine ( at great expense) was required. I now realise this is a design characteristic which saves the motor from damage. I ordered the two pack as I use the machine very frequently and wanted a spare in hand. If you do not have a comprehensive tool kit it might be advisable to order the cogs with the necessary tool which is used to extract the old broken part. No particular skills required to fit.

The part comes with a custom spanner to remove the old part from the motor spindle. The spanner makes the job so much easier; it's definitely worth getting it. The rubber crown section had completely disintegrated so had to use a set of groove-joint pliers to get a hold of the metal head. It all came off in less than 20 secs and the unit was replaced in the same time. Just right for the job; very pleased.

When the rubber coupler sheered off I thought I was going to have to buy a whole new blender, but this replacement is simple to fit (using the spanner that comes with it) - and much much cheaper than a new Kitchen Aid! I was annoyed at first that the coupler was so susceptible to damage, but apparently this is deliberate - allowing it to sheer off prevents the motor from burning out.

I have had my kitchenaid blender for 15 years and I love it. I use it two or three times a day.The only weak point? The rubber compound driver. They last about three to four years each in comparison to the rest of it which is completely original.This will be the fourth time I have replaced it and I always buy them from these guys.

This is absolutely essential for the Kitchen Aid blender. Once in place the blender will perform perfectly. It should last for up to five years with normal use, and then it will need replacing. Put the Spindler tool in a safe place, because you won't be able to remove the damaged rubber coupler without it.

This arrived nice a quick. The existing coupler was a little stiff, but just using a tea towel gave me enough leverage to get the old one off. This one went on nice and easily and does a great job. Great cheap fix for an expensive bit of equipment. I would highly recomend.

Why these are not the genuine replacement part you cannot tell them apart, I bought the kit with two replacement clutches and a spanner( the spanner is a must have) on arrival I replaced the faulty part in seconds with the aid of the spannerWould defiantly buy again

I was previously deprived of smoothies because my Kitchen Aid blender's clutch coupler had broken all its teeth. But after spending 20 seconds fitting a replacement, it works again, as good as ever. My life has been turned round. Hallelujah!

Second replacement clutch we've had for our aged, long suffering and hard-working blender. We are now happily back to the daily grind, and really impressed with the replacement part option from Kitchenaid - no throw-away society here!

This is a great little tool but I do think it should come with instructions, because if turned the wrong way the coupler tightens rather than releases it so instructions would be helpful.

Phoned KitchenAid to have this repair done and they wanted £90 to do it. Hardly any cost for this part and a quick look on YouTube and the coupler is replaced and working like a dream!!!

This kit is all you need to change the rubber coupler in 2 minutes - and the help of someone with a string wrist! Fantastic. Super quick delivery. Blender back in action. Thank you.

Really easy to replace the drive cog with the tool provided. Watch one of the videos on you tube. Spanner fits in the small gap and the drive cog is on a left hand thread.

Straight forward to fit once you realise it's a left hand thread.... which of course it has to be or it would unwind itself!Good delivery time and good price

Ignore the included instructions about levering off the coupler. Just use the tool, and turn the coupler anti-clockwise.
