We recently got the excellent Tefal sandwich- and snack-maker through a loyalty point scheme. The main attraction being to get rid of our range of cheap low-quality kitchen devices such as a toaster, pancake maker, waffle maker ect. The other argument being that those devices that we used most frequently got very greasy and were hard to clean - since electrical devices don't do well in a dishwasher.These plates obviously can be cleaned easily and are of sturdy high quality. And we're now trying out a number of other grill and baking options with the new Tefal machine - so far with very satisfying result.The only few issues to point to is first of all,

Bought two - one for us and one for our son at University.We also bought the panini plates.We have used the panini plates and the toasted sandwich plates - both have produced great results and are very easy to clean.Would recommend.

So much easier than making in a frying pan, cooks both sides at the same time.Like the Tefal frying pans, the plates are so easy to clean.As some other reviewer mentioned, the collection and unit saves money and space.

These work perfectly in my griller for making tasty toasted sandwiches. I wish they were a bit larger, and the cost of the griller plus a few accessories makes it one of the more expensive options around.

This is a superb machine.The variety of options gives varied and interesting snacksIn response to the one review.It is not meant to go in an oven!

First time I was woried it will not fit and is not genuine one...but fits perfect and is genuine...Excelent pancakesI reccommend with pleasure

Love these plates for panini and great for toasted sandwiches as well as the bread I use tends to be too big for sandwich plates. Great buy.

Absolutely in love with all Tefal plates. This one is must have for everyone. You can make so many things on one plate, great!

Items are good but the plastic boxes which are for storaging the plates are hard to open, very very hard to open!!

Excellent plates, non stick coating is brilliant, I just haven't found the right recipe to make prefect donuts

I love these plates! Soon I will own them all... well, maybe not SOON.The doughnuts came out like a dream.

Great fun for breakfasts. Our family love the Tefal snack collection and this is a nice, fun addition.
