I have this Smoothie maker for two months now and am very happy with it. I use it a lot because I make almond milk regularly and also have two smoothies a day. I bought this one because it said it could handle ice cubes and it does so very easily. I love the tap. It's fun to use. Although I must warn you that when you put it in the 'open' position when cleaning so that the water goes through the tap and thus cleans the tap as well, remember to put it back in the closed position!!!! The first week, on three occasions I poured my precious almond milk only to watch it pour right out because I'd forgotten to do so. I learned my lesson and that doesn't happen anymore.

I have had various blenders over the years for making smoothies. I have had two Magic Bullets and two Hinari blenders, as well as the Kenwood one that came with my food processor. The first Bullet just packed up after a couple of years and then its replacement failed as the knobs came off the cups so it was unusable. Bought the Hinari and then it got stuck with the liquid in it and had to be returned like that. The replacement was not satisfactory and the cups kept getting stuck.I ordered this one as a last resort but it is brilliant. Doesn't take up much room on the work top and has two speeds which are more than adequate. The tap is great and if it does get a bit stuck,

I bought this smoothie maker a few weeks ago, and I've used it virtually every day since then. I've loved experimenting with different combinations of fruit.One of the concerns about these devices is that they're difficult to clean, but it's easy with this one. You can even unscrew the tap/blades from the main container, so you can get rid of any stubborn lumps of fruit easily.I rinse it out straigh after using it, which makes it a doddle to clean.The only downside is that sometimes you have to stop it and start it again to get the ice cubes down near the blades, otherwise they somehow manage to avoid the chop !! and it's quite noisy..

This is a splendid product. I have mixed fruits and vegetables in it and it has so far handled everything with ease. It is noisy, but I believe that most of these machines are, unless you choose to pay a fortune. I've learned to leave it working a bit longer, to ensure a more thorough mix, and the spatula is useful for ensuring that anything settled on the bottom below the blades is lifted up, ready for chopping. I have found it quick and easy to dismantle and wash, (remember the blade is a left hand thread!), and I'm sure I'll be healthier as a result of owning it!

It's bigger than I expected, but boy does it work! First time buying a smoothie maker and delighted with the results. I buy bags of mixed frozen fruit from our local Dobbies food hall - it's a mix of things like melon, grapes, strawberries, peaches etc and mix it with apple juice. The result is like a slush puppy. The spout is useless for that as I love the smoothie to be really thick and slushy but I just spoon it out of the jug into a mason jar. I might try adding a splash of alcohol to it to see if it comes out a bit like those frozen cocktails you can get.

Arrived a day early and although it said silver colour not available, which I wanted, but wasn't too bothered about, it turned out to be silver. It's identical to the one, same Kenwood, which burnt out the other day after 9 years constant use so I don't think it owed us anything. There are one or two differences on this one, but self-explanatory. The one I purchased from a store, 9 years ago, was more expensive than this one which is a real bargain. Delighted and can highly recommend. Kenwood is a name that we all recognise for being up there at the top.

I think this is a great smoothie maker. People have stated that it's blades are not capable of blending solids. That's not my experience. This machine can easily disintegrate ice, nuts and chocolate. I had no problems in terms of solids but I used it to make smoothies, which was sort of the point of the product! Perhaps if people are trying to blend large foodstuffs it can be difficult. The tap is really useful and the whole jug is very easy to clean. The only difficulty I had was storing the jug in the fridge. But the tap is detachable which is useful.

I bought this smoothie maker, because I wanted to crush frozen fruits until smooth. Checked kw and ice crushing ability and chose this one. It can't work withot liquid (it was my wish) but I am happy I bought it as my kids too. They do smoothies with differet products, create reciepes. We use a lot of fruits and vegetables wich we would not usualy. Homemade smoothie can change whole meal. It is tasty, healthy and easy to use. It is my first smoothie maker, I can't compare with others, but it is great :).

I wanted this smoothie maker after comparing it against the smoothie to go. I did buy mine in tesco last weekend as it's on offer at 31 pound.We havent yet used ice in ours so I can't comment on that part. It's fairly noisy but aren't they all. This one is a replacement for our old ken wood which finally died after four years.Happy with my purchase so far, easy to clean, put together, take apart, easy to use.Looks far more substantial than the others on the Market.

I bought this smoothie maker for my daughter, who is away at university. She not only finds it great for making smoothies with soft fruits, but it also tackles all vegetables, both hard and soft, to make wonderful soups. Easy to use and easy to clean.We have had one similar this for many years and it is great, and this one for my daughter, seems just as good - i recommend it if you need something simple to use to get great results.

Does the job, hardwearing and affective.Although the tap is a bit pointless. It takes sooooo long to come out of there it's really not worth it, might aswell just take the lid off and tip it out. Then you have to clean it aswell which is slightly fiddly so not really worth it tbh. Taps are a novelty that rarely work effectively.Other then that though it's great and I see no need to pay more for a fancy one when this does the job.

after reading some reviews i wasn't sure about buying this item but since i had a gift voucher for amazon and really wanted a smoothie maker i decided to give it a go and I'm glad i did. I've used it practically every day since it arrived a month ago and have had no trouble. have made some great tasting drinks and having the tap on makes it that much easier to get into the glasses would recommend that everyone gives it a try

After getting this for Christmas I was pleasantly surprised. The device is a good weight so it doesn't move around when in use, it is powerful and smooth. Most of all it is easy to use and simple to clean (which always helps). I have already started to experiment with making my own smoothies, some more successful than others, but it's always great fun. Would highly recommend...and it lights up too!!

I have always been a big fan of smoothies but there was never a blender that was designed for just smoothies until Kenwood released this. The blender is good quality and is powerful but it is the tap that is the best part about this blender. Make sure to wash it properly after every use otherwise it will start to look tired very quickly.

I choose this rating because after reviewing other smoothie makers on line as it offered all the atributes I was looking for at a price I could afford. I have been using this product for almost a month and my only complaint is that that tap does not always allow the smoothie to flow out freely
