I'll admit that the low price was my main reason for choosing this trimmer. After all, it couldn't possibly have been a total disaster coming from the best-known brand in its field, could it? Fortunately no, and in fact, with the exception of the rather garish "chrome" plating on the plastic battery cover, the device feels like a much more expensive product.Its blade is the first thing that impressed; the high quality steel used in its manufacture was obvious as soon as I'd taken the first crop of stubble from my beard with it because lesser brands use cheap steel that always leaves my skin tender, red and sore after use, not so with this machine whose stainless steel contact area is obviously the real deal and not some cheap,

Now I'm getting on and hair is sprouting everywhere (except my head) I needed something to keep my eyebrows trimmed and to remove long hairs from my neck. This does the job so easily. Its great value and has plenty of power from the two AA size cells. (I use NiMH rechargeables without any problems)The only downside is that it works fine - until you clip the battery holder fully on. Then it moves one and breaks the contact. Silly.But I would still buy one again. At a fiver its great value for money.

Noisy little thing but does a no-nonsense job quickly . The price is almost unbelievable , I was ready to try my luck as I was fed up having my beard half-heartedly nibbled at by a little Panasonic battery trimmer . This machine CUTS FIRST PASS ! I am so pleased and impressed .There were other models there but you would be paying extra for mains-voltage motors or for the charger unit . I always go for battery-operated models and use rechargeables (good for abroad too) .

This trimmer is excellent. First started using it when I was travelling and needed a battery operated trimmer and haven't looked back, this is about the 4th I've had in about 13 years. Only replace them as very reasonably priced and pretty much use them daily so have been well worn and used. Not only shave my face but my head also..........stubble all over! Easily cleaned and maintained but also fairly compact. I would definitely reccomend this

I like this, having just started with the facial hair this is a really easy way to keep it tidy. Lots of attachments mean its good for beard and moustache. Also useful for those of us who have eyebrows that forget to stop growing...!

Cheap and cheerful it functions perfectly. A bit noisy but can live with this given the cost. Wanted something that did not need charging as no plug in our bathroom so more than happy with this product

Very good portable battery operated wahl clipper works fine and has attachment for different beard length.comes with oil and cleaning brush.

I am very happy with this product. It would have been perfect if it came with a little stand to put the trimmer and accessories in.

I purchased this trimmer as a Christmas gift for a family member, who was really pleased with it , a quality product.
