Only run in these on the treadmill to date, steep incline & speed training & they feel a little different to the Torin 3.0s that I normally run in. Firstly I always go a full size up to regular shoes; this is order to guard against blisters & black toenails (as is the case when wearing Asics/Brooks) on longer 3miles plus mile runs. The mid foot grips really well, some say a little tighter than previous versions & feel great; same freedom for toes to splay and cushioning is great under foot. Transition from non zero drops to zero drop? I have really found the need to back off distance or pace due to achilles or other muscles/tendons adapting.Love the feel & flexibility of the knitted uppers & haven't experienced any heal slippage even with the full size up. Laces are very long & possibly the shoes may benefit from a further lace hole to lock in the shoes. Longevity/will update going forward.

I am an overweight flat-footed runner that suffered from posterior tibial tendonitis for a long time on both feet, after adapting Altra (zero drop/ wide toe box) into my running shoe rotations my feet became stronger and my issue almost relieved. I use this shoe in running only and I try to keep good running form (cadence ~175spm) and midfoot strike.Only one issue with these shoes that it strains the Achilles tendons and maybe calf muscle, hence it is important to rotate it with other high drop shoes (maybe in recovery runs) to reduce stress in Achilles.disclaimer : I do not review the quality of the shoe because I put only 200 miles in it

I was simply looking for a pair of shoes to wear at work as I like to take walks at break. These have turned into my go to sneaks for that purpose. Super comfy, has arch support, yet has that roomy toebox and are light on the feet. The material for the upper is a sort of cloth mesh, which creates breathability. My second pair of Altras, and I enjoy the zero drop concept.

I thoroughly enjoy these shoes. Even though I am not a runner, I put a lot of steps on them power walking, and I like how these fit and feel. One of my feet also supinates, and these seem to be ok for that thus far. I ordered a half-size larger than what I normally wear, and that fits my foot perfectly.

I loved my Altra Paradigm 1.5, but they had seen better days after a lot of use. Upgraded to the 4.0 and couldn't be happier. They are a little tighter around the arch and as with other reviews come up a little different in size. My Paradigm 1.5 were a good fit at UK10, but these seem perfect at UK9.5

To be honest I was expecting the same height and squish as the olympus, but found it to be a little less in both areas. Height is similar to an old pair of provisions, but more give in the sole. I need to run in them more to up them to a 5. So far so good. Went on two runs so far.

Very nice shoe, but as with some other Altra shoes your foot can slide around a little. I wouldn't recommend this for a trail run with a lot of roots and things. However, it offers a lot of the support that the Escalante lacks while keeping a nice cushioned sole.

This shoe fits better than I expected considering the reviews. A bit more stiff and durable than my favorite Olympus 3 (I have 4 pair). Closest feel to the Olympus. Pricey but still one of the best shoes I've come across!

I have been through several pairs of the Paradigm 4 and they are my favorite running shoes. The Zero drop design and wide toe box work really well for my feet and my stride, and the motion control is just right.

A coworker of mine suggested I try these shoes, as we are on our feet several hours a day. These are truly some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They are well worth the moderately salty price.

The perfect running shoe for folks like me that have wide feet. The only suggestion I would say is that the knit needs to be the same as they use for the casual shoe that they have. It's not as stretchy.

Altra fan here. Big comfort for any mileage. Fit is great. Good arch support-just right for me. Lighter feel than you’d think. Breathe well. Superstar runners if you like zero drop.

My husband runs slot I bought these for him and he said they are the best running shoes he has ever owned. He ran a 10 mile marathon in them and had no pain.

My feet and legs are always hurting. Put these on and nearly eliminated all that. Great cushion. I use them as work shoes and for running/ walking

Great running shoe, I'm totally thrilled. Hardly any blast, but still very comfortable, wide toe box with an otherwise very well-fitting cut.
