But can do so much more! I try to write thoughtful reviews whenever it comes to runners I buy, and this one will be no exception.ON-Running has been on my radar for sometime as the "cannoli sole" is bound to attract some kind of attention. "They look so weird!" I was told when my local DSW had a pair of the Cloudcrusier model and picked up a pair (and returned just as quickly). I was sad then because the sole put your feet and the pain of the ground on a level of comfort I had never really known. The upper was stiff and thick, the toebox was cramped, and it was heavy, like lead weight heavy. That changed when I found out that ON had gone and fixed their line with a slew of new offering. The cloudflow is an odd shoe in their line.Light (like about 7oz light) with a 6mm drop, but not as light as the simply named "Cloud" model. It sits in weight between two similar shoes, but hits the sweetspot for it. These are fast shoes. The upper is like air on my feet. The give in the toe box is really good, the heel lockdown is good (not great) the midfoot lockdown is there, but the anorexic laces ON insists on are the reason for this. I don't know they insist on using these laces, but if you want a more stable lock down, go out and buy standard runner laces. Yet where the flow truly shines is in the sole. Your really feel as you are hovering above the ground.I've heard that ON's runners consume concrete; and they weren't wrong. I felt nothing underfoot, yet had all the situational awareness of where my feet where at all times. Instead of what you feel when running on something like a HOKA shoe (at least how I felt), these were less, "put as much cushion under your foot so everything feels like nothing" and more "a military commander directing their troops over terrain in the most efficient path possible." There are no casualties, ever.As I said above, they are light, perfect for speedy 5k's, but truthfully, you can run the full gamut. I honestly don't think there is a single shoe on the market right now (current year models) that can do ALL kinds of runs effectively. If you have a store near you selling these, try them on. Take them for a run, you won't regret it.

I found these shoes to be light weight, adequately flexible sole plate with very soft and flexible uppers that wrap and fit my foot well. The cushioning is good for the lightness and sole flexibility of these shoes. I was uncertain whether I wanted a size 12 or a size 13, so I bought a pair of each. I can wear both sizes just fine. I merely need to cinch up the lacings more with the size 13. I ran 20.7 muddy/icy/hilly trail miles in the size 13s Friday and climbed 4.5 miles Saturday at 12% slope and 3 miles Sunday at 15% slope in the size 12 on treadmills. No rubbing from either size shoe and the support was fine. They almost have as much cushioned support as my Hoka shoes and they feel as light and flexible as my INOV8-295s - the best of all worlds. They seem like a good compromise of weight, support, flexibility, breathability and soft uppers to minimize blisters while providing protection from trail obstacles (rocks and roots). I was hoping for maybe a bit more compression per step, but it is OK.

I ordered these shoes based on a recommendation from a training partner. I really like these shoes for road use. The shoes are a great mix of lightweight and supportive. I get a very responsive feel on the road, the shoes really spring back. Another plus is that these shoes works well without socks, making them ideal for Sprint/Olympic triathlons. You run (pun intended) into trouble when you’re on terrain with any kind of debris. The “clouds” on the sole of the shoe have wide and deep gaps. As a result rocks, twigs, and other objects get stuck in the shoe and affect it’s ability to cushion. You will be running with a spring in your step one second, and running on bricks the next.I will get my 300-500 miles out of these shoes, but I’ll have to pick and choose when I can wear them. If you only have one pair of running shoes, I wouldn’t pick these, but if you rotate though a few pairs, these are not a bad choice.

I have so many pairs of shoes. You name it. Inov 8, Merrell, Newton, New Balance, Altra, Nike, Adidas... These are the most comfortable shoes. They are so comfortable, so I decided to wear them when I did half marathon. I did really good with them. I highly recommend these shoes. I saw them in one of the local triathlon shops and no wonder they carry them. SO GOOD!!!UPDATE: My triathlon run PR is with these shoes. I'm thinking about buying another pair. These shoes have been holding up really well. I throw away shoes because my pinky toes make holes on the shoes. There's nothing wrong with my shoes. It's my pinky toes. Anyway, these shoes lasted the longest.I think I've been wearing them for the past 3 years and they are still in good shape after the daily use, several marathons and triathlons. I highly recommend these shoes.

Great shoes. Very light and comfortable. I've worn previous On-Running models including Cloudsurfer and Cloudrunner. These are lighter than those other models and their construction is simpler and more elegant. So far this new version is my favorite. I like them so much I have one pair laced up for running and the other with the no-tie laces for just walking around and wearing on casual days at work. One drawback to the shoes is that the grooves in the bottom have a tendency to get pebbles/acorns, etc stuck in them if you go outside. The grooves are essential for their function so it's a give and take.Overall highly recommended for those who are looking for a light and comfortable running shoes that provides minimal to moderate structure. Also great for walking or wearing around the house.

Most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever bought- bought a pair for my sister who has size 5/6 petite feet & she loves them equally. I have size 9 flat and wide feet- I’ve also got some spinal injuries that affect how I walk which these shoes help stabilize That but took a week to get used to/ break in. I felt they were tight initially but after that 1st week, no complaints, they are made of a semi stretchy/ giving material that is breathable & lightweight. I walked around an amusement park over 12 miles in one weekend and had no complaints when I usually have to ice my feet intermittently with that much walking. We’re both nurses and recomend these over danskos!!These were only half the price that I paid on the company’s website- what a deal.

These ON Cloud brand running shoes are great fitting and run true to size, the 10.5 size fits like a glove. Comfortable upon initial wearing of the shoe and breaking in was easy. Walking long distances with these was ok, but the first few days I felt like the shoe could have a little more support or comfort for all-day long walks around the city. Part of this may be my foot/legs getting used to the shoe and its stance. I like the style and material, and these are easy to slip on and off with the stretch laces that come with the shoe. Shoes include regular cotton laces as well, but the stretch ones are great when you have to changes shoes multiple times a day.

Fit was great. Used their true fit calculator (On running website) to figure size. I wear a size 8 in Brooks Pure Connect, got a 7.5 in the On's. Love the elastic laces since I usually replacing laces with elastic anyway. I did tighten up the laces quite a bit and ended up looping the extra lace through the other eyelets at bottom and top of lace/tongue area to get it out of the way. First run in these shoes was 6 miles, paused at mile 1 to tighten right shoe lace a bit as heel was rubbing a little, but rest of the run was uneventful. No blisters and worked great. I think I'm going to like these, hope to get 3-500 miles out of them. We'll see.

I had to drop down a half size. That being said these shoes are SO comfortable!!! I absolutely love them. I never had to "break them in" at all, which was nice. The ONLY issue that I have is that the soles of the shoes have some gaps and I find that frequently I will get rocks stuck in these spaces. I then have to stop and pull them out and that is annoying. I am not a runner but use these for my general workouts. If you are a runner the issue that I have with the rocks may be a deal breaker for you as I could easily see rocks getting in these spaces all of the time and then having to stop frequently to pull them out.

These are my 5th pair of On’s. Last pair were the swifts but punted for the X on their replacement.Super happy with them. I’ve covered over 200 miles in them and loved every yard!I use these for running on road/pavement only. I’m a mid to front runner and these match my style perfectly.I have quite arthritic knees and the support the shoes give me helps enormously. As a guide, I’m 5’9” in weigh in about 13.5 stone and these shoes stand up well to the battering they get. They have a lovely wide toe box which means you get a really sure footing and no toe rub.I am a size 9 and ordered size 9.

THEY DO NOT FIT WIDE!!!!!I train MuayThai and MMA, all barefoot. My running shoe which I love dearly are Adidas Adipure Adapts, which fit "medium" but the material is stretchy and I dont wear socks. All these things considered, my foot adjusted to splay wider and thus feel better in wide shoes. These On Clouds are very well made and are comfortable. I just feel that they run a little narrow for me, and they feel like platform shoes when I run as they are stacked high. I am going to keep them around and remove the insoles when I run. Does anybody know of wide racing flats?

Have been running in these for a couple of months now. I'd had a few issues with my knee previously and not being the most slimmest of runners wanted a shoe that reduced the impact on my knees. This pair certainly ticked the box. They are super comfy and wide in the toe box so no blisters. They also feel very light and are well ventilated so none of that hot feet feeling whilst running! When I first tried them on I wasn't sure about the laces but they are actually really secure. Am now an On Cloud convert and will be looking to purchase another pair in different colour ??

Mizumo lovers, we who have been betrayed with the WR 19 & 20, time has come to say good buy to Mizumo. The Cloudflow is amazing! The plateform is firm and responsive. Not sluggish or cottony as the WR 19 and 20.The footing on paths and fields is very secure and adapts very well to the bumps and wholes. I run with them on wet surface and mud and are astonishly gripping very well. The blocks of the plateform play a very important role to stabilise the footsteps. No vibrations either.Definitely a replacement to Mizumo for those who like firm and responsive shoes.

So light, light, light, with excellent fit and construction... GREAT comfortable walking shoe. I always size up one full size in athletic shoes. These are roomy without socks all through the toe box, not too much though? came with two sets of laces, one pair is bungee so you can slip on an off, and lacing configures to adjust your fit really nicely. Love the colors! These are going to Europe with me, the only walking/hiking/running/workout shoes I will need. (Mesh isn't waterproof, watch out for wet weather). I plan to buy a second pair in other colors!

Very comfy and super light. I wear a 6.5 in regular shoes and a 7 in running shoes. Ordered these in 7 and they fit perfectly! The elastic laces keep the shoe in place while running but I switched them out for the regular laces they came with for a more snug fin since I have very narrow feet. Only complaint is one of the hollowed out rectangles on the sole of one of the shoes was squished inward a bit when I received them. I don't really notice the difference while running and hope this imbalance won't cause any issues with prolonged use.
