I have not been a consistent runner since I was in High School Track and Field but I am 31 and the Covid-19 stay-at-home order has me eating more home-baked pastries than ever. Realizing my state might be opening up soon, I decided to try these at my partner's suggestion because they bought a pair and very much enjoyed them.My first time running in them I thought I was going to die, my feet hurt, my shins hurt, the outside of my feet ached the entire way home.... I almost sent them back,But I stuck with it for a couple more days, just wearing them around the house to break them in. The last time I wore them I just walked with my family including my young children.- Amazingly they were much more comfortable than they were initially.I am going to continue breaking them in, I will try to run again in them in an attempt to be less of a gordo, but having adequate support instead of running in flip flops or old a$$ wal-mart sneakers is probably a better choice in the long run than just surrendering to "not being a person who runs".All joking aside, these are great. They fit well, they breathe nicely, they provide great support. I would buy them in every color but you know... I've got mouths to feed... Thanks to Adidas I may well even able to shake off the "quarantine fifteen" instead of buying all new slacks.

I’m 40, 250 pounds, 6ft 2, fairly athletic build. I’m not going to win any races, but I enjoy running to keep fit and take it fairly seriously - sort of 27min 5k time.If you believe a lot of the professional reviews, these shoes are too loaded to the heel, with a fairly high 10mm drop to the forefoot. They are ‘too heavy’, and they are merely lifestyle shoes not runners. In previous incarnations the Ultraboost might well have been more lifestyle focused. But times have changed!Well for me, and my build, they are perfect. The fit is incredible - the upper is the most comfortable I’ve every worn. I’m a size 12uk in normal shoes, and went up to a 12.5 and they fit perfectly. Definitely go up half a size. The 10mm drop suits me fine. I run with my foot strike directly below my body, so this reduces pressure on my Achilles and calves, propels me forward and also provides support on uphills. I have a rotation of 2/3 different running shoes to help keep off ankle strains and these will always be one of them. 5/5 !!

Flat feeted human here. It took me years to find a trainer that would provide me the kind of support and comfort necessary for my kind of feet. Surely I was going mostly by look first but after a few failed purchases of other brands, it was time to actually research. I was reluctant in not going for the stability series as they're technically the go to if you have flat feet, but with the 'tailored fiber placement' on the front, the neoprene stabilised heel, and having a a midsole that is wide enough, this shoe turned out to provide me the exact level of support and comfort I've always wanted. Technically I've found an incredible engineered shoe. I hadn't tried any Boost model before, but on this model they really seem to have solved all issues that were previously fedback. Through my research it seems to me Adidas is more mindful of different kind of feet (certainly more mindful of flat feet people) than some other brands are. In love with this show

This is my 5th pair of Ultraboost - I absolutely love them. When I first started running I struggled with pain in my right knee and ever since having a proper gate analysis and leaving the shop with my first pair of Ultra boost I haven't looked back!Over the years they've improved incrementally with the heel being much more substantial now and the Continental grip on the sole being a big improvement over the earlier versions. This particular pair (Ultra boost 20) is another small evolution vs the Ultra boost 19 with more structure around the toe box. When I first tried them on, this made them feel a tiny bit snug around the big toe on my right foot by comparison to my outgoing trainers but they fit perfectly everywhere else. After a steady first run to break them in they're absolutely mint. If I was in a shop I'd maybe have tried half a size bigger to rule that out but otherwise very pleased!

I just ran my first 5km in these new shoes, I have always bought solar boosts in the past. I was put of by the solar boost 19’s being not so much a running shoe. These Solar boost 20’s however feel very similar to the solar boosts. There is great feel of “bounce” from these shoes. I think they will become a staple shoe for long marathon training runs. Testing at a bit of tempo pace, they did feel quick also. The grip from the continental sole also seems good, I haven’t tried in the wet yet though. Only concern is perhaps the grip of your heel is not as tight as I would normally like, there is one less lace eyelet compared to the solar boost,so I am unable to lace with my usual heel lock configuration.Overall I feel these will be another excellent running shoe from Adidas that will be a staple of my marathon training runs.

These are my first ever 'sock' style trainer, and like my Adidas Terrex tail running shoes, they are a bit of a tight fit when new. However, they quickly settle as they mould to the shape of my feet, and after a few 5K runs, they now feel wonderful to run on, and look great too (all black for me - I hate fancy colours! ) I often struggle with knee pain when running longer than 3Ks, but with these beauties... So far so good, although admittedly, I've only run on a treadmill so far. That said, I do get a lot of static with these on my treadmill for some reason, where as my other running shoes don't do this. A nuisance but not a deal breaker by any means for me.I'm hoping these beauties may even help me to finally attain my half marathon goals, and beyond.

My 2nd pair of Ultraboost. Key points are that these seem to have a more durable upper material than before, but less stretchy though this doesn't seem to affect comfort. Shoe seems to have the same stack as before but they seem much more responsive. I was expecting cloud like hoka style cushioning, but these are firmer which I prefer. The fit seems quite narrow at first but I think this is in the design and that the shoe naturally grips the foot without having to lace tightly. I went for 1 whole size smaller than my shoe size which seems about right. Quality of the shoe is as you would expect from Adidas.Generally shoe seems great out of the box and very comfortable in the runs I've done so far.

I understand it is an expensive shoe. But if you have the money for it, this is the best shoe you can buy. I did try the following before settling with Ultraboost 20.- Nike Epic Phantom React- Nike Pegasus Turbo 2- Nike Joyride- Neemans- Reebok Classic- New Balance 247sAmong all these, Ultraboosts had a better fit, felt more snug and also comfortable. And yes it lives up to the hype of walk ing on a cloud. Although Ultraboost 20 is a bit more firmer than 1.0-4.0s; however for me it had better support for the feet. Breathability is not the best, however, its very good.I definitely recommend it. Buy it on sale. (Around 11k)

I have always stuck to cheap running shoes thinking there would be no difference..how wrong i was! I finally decided to pay a bit more for running shoes and got the ultra boost 20s and to be honest I don't think I can ever go back to cheap running shoes again after wearing these. They are very comfortable and for very well, I was getting slight pains with cheap shoes and after using Ultraboost for a few runs the pains went away, not sure if this is my legs getting stronger or not but I would assume it has something to do with how the ultra boost shoe feels extremely soft with every step. Would definitely recommend.

These shoes are the most comfortable i own. The boost sole cushions and absorbs shock really well while still supporting the foot and the arch. I use mine for gym classes, weight sessions and also for long walks - for me they are more comfortable that walking shoes, (although they don't give the same grip on the sole for slippy terrain so avoid for those purposes). I also wear for 'fashion' as they just look so good! I go up one size to my normal, and I buy the mens version as I feel its slightly wider than the female version. They last well for me, I have 3 pairs now and couldn't live without them!

Bought with intention of using as runners, gym shoes and occasionally day to day trainers, not yet had the chance to do much in them but initial impressions are good. Extremely comfortable and very good looking.I went with the ones with the copper sole and black cage and upper. There is also a copper fleck in the upper which I didn’t realise and this becomes quite obvious in the light as they reflect it and become almost glittery, however I’ll still be keeping them as I don’t mind it, but something to be aware of for those interested. Happy overall and will see how they stand the test of time.

Amazing shoes; doesn’t matter if you are taking on a Marathon, 5k or looking stylish on a night out. These trainers do it all. You can expect a fantastic cushioning through all 26 miles and your feet will never be an issue. The spring of the boost can actually be felt on each stride as it cushions your heel strike before rebounding the foot off. The trainer is equally at home for casual wear, providing superior comfort and a style you don’t get with other running shoes. The shoe feels lightweight compared to previous iterations and the quality is superb as you’d expect.

Product is perfect, however sizing is dubious. Even when advised to order a size larger cannot understand why I would need to order a size 9 when I am most certainly a size 8. Therefor I would suggest that your sizing guide needs to be addresses.Worth of praise is the ease of ordering and having a replacement size sent out. I ordered my first pair on 23rd December, in the afternoon and my shoes arrived next day - brilliant. My replacement pair arrived equally efficiently, but if sizing had bee accurate would not have had to order a size bigger!!

Soles were much more hard-wearing than those of a rival brand. Very comfortable both for running and everyday use. Good range of sizes and colours. I chose my first pair in-store after trying several. That gave be the confidence to buy a second pair online, as I would not recommend buying any shoes without having tried them. I have found it helpful to retighten the laces a few second after first putting them on. The elastic material makes for a perfect fit, but if there is any swelling on the foot, it reduces it, and the laces can come undone.
