This wasn’t the cheapest of the type I could have bought and some reviewers seem to have broken them. I did like the look of it though and it comes with a five year warranty so if I have to come back and update this review due to breakage at least I’ll be able to get a refund. What I found quite comical is the small number of reviewers that complained it didn’t come with instructions! I have to say that if you need instructions to use a can opener then even being in a kitchen with sharp knives and open heat sources probably isn’t the place for you! Having said all that my unit came clip tied to a very sturdy card with pictograms of how to use it. So far so good, it works very well.

It was with trepidation that I tried this opener as I’d had a few bad results but to my great delight the opener was very easy to use and opened the can as if it was made of paperHighly recommend

I had a older model and bought this one as a replacement after 8 years of use. It’s really good and wonderful for anyone with a weakened grip.

This is the best opener I've ever used.Gone through countless ones in my 75 years but this one is a joy to use.

The basic principle is good but if the can you are trying to open has a thin ‘lip’ then it can be problematic.
