I've now had this for about 5 years. It is still like new.I bought it mainly to shred nuts to near powder which is great for those with false teeth.In just a couple of minutes a 200g packet of nuts is processed.However it is also ideal for cheese, carrots etc as it has four grater drums to choose from.I wash it by hand as soon as finished which is easy peasy.Try 40g Scots original porage, 155g water, 100g fc milk, pinch of salt half way through.bring to boil slowly taking 10minutes and then lowest setting for 6 minutesstirring regularly.Add Tbsp of grated mixed nuts after pouring out and half a tsp of honey if you like.Heaven...

OK, it’s a crazy price for a rotary grater that does not even have electric power, but it does an excellent job.It’s a little fiddly to clean but any sort of grater is and I’ve been putting the cylinders in the dishwasher. I’m cleaning the body by hand as I don’t want to chance screwing up the sucker mechanism.I was fed up with buying cheap handheld rotary graters that tend to break or fall apart after five minutes or clog up so I decided to blow £100 or so on this.Really glad I did. I’m still experimenting but so far, I’m very impressed and suspect it will outlast me, I’m 98 you know! Only joking.

So when I first saw the price, I thought that’s a lot for a grater, researched it more and all reviews were top notch. Order placed and I received it yesterday, do people get excited about graters? I certainly have, this is an excellent piece of equipment, I’m an avid cook and like to make my own breadcrumbs with dried out bread, I’ve just run through 4 loaves of dried bread in no time, I just grated a load of Parmesan as well. The suction on my granite worktop is fantastic, this baby isn’t going anywhere!!I’m really pleased with this and can highly recommend it. Thank you

We grate parmesan frequently; as we get older, fingers and thumbs lose power and ache and most graters require a strong grip that we are losing. This grater is exceptionally easy to use and to clean and has that Zyliss build quality that most of its competitors don't. Like most things that work well: a pleasure to use and to look at

As everyone says, its VERY expensive but it is also worth it. I very reluctantly bought one and am quite pleased with it. It is very easy to use and includes both a suction base as well as a clamp and has four different blades. Easy to clean as well. I actually store it back into the box when not in use. You won't be disappointed.

I had an earlier model years ago, but lost it. I have been sorry for that, simce it was the only way for properly making my cucumber salad. Well, I found it again on Az and ordered it. On arrival It proved to be a new model and I'm happy with it - a new dawn for cucumber salad...

Very sturdy and easy to use. Fixes easily to wooden work top firmly with the clamp. Use it mostly to make coleslaw and grate apples. Works really well, gets through a mound of carrots very quickly. Rinses clean.

This is the best kitchen appliance I have. It is much more convenient to use than a food processor for preparing veg. Solid stainless steal, no plastic getting grated into food. Highly recommend.

This is the rolls royce of food graters and slicers. We had a 15 year old version of this and decided to replace it. No faults to be found but it does suggest hand washing which is very easy.

Great alternative to an electric kitchen machine. So much better than the (much) cheaper alternatives. Sharp blades, the handle connects and disconnects from the drums with ease. Love it.

Suction wasn’t the best but as we have beech work surfaces I guess it might not be the best surface. Did the job with ease - maybe expensive but worth it.
