Found this product at a quality supermarket but at a higher price so chanced on it being good. I was not disappointed, the four attachments (three graters and one mandolin) fit securely in their holder frame and the unit, with rubber feet, is very stable in use so less chance of injury.I previously tried cheaper (box and flat combi) products that flexed too much or buckled when grating cheese, some of which then also rusted, so am very pleased with this grater.One reviewer mentioned the lack of a lid but a piece of cling film can substitute and you gain an extra grater blade for only 10p more than the version with a lid!

If you find it hard to grate stuff with an upright grater....try this. It's much easier. Quick and easy to use ..a quick rinse and it's done. I've done parmesan (very hard cheese) and it makes light work of it. Also does chedder etc very easily. Carrots are no problem to grate. It has a slicer blade which I have used for carrots and cucumber. There is a third blade which is a sort of funny shaped grate which I'm not quite sure what it's for!! There's no lid for the box part but as I usually only grate what I need it's not an issue. Very sharp grater and would recommend.

After using all types of grater over the years and finding none of them ideal - slip around on the plate/work surface etc etc I thought I'd try this one out. It is grate - sorry!! The non slip feet do their job well, no slipping around or having to grip so hard you grate your fingers! Plus you grate directly into the base so don't need to balance a grater over a dish any more, and I've stored grated cheese in the base in between uses and it's fine.I like this grater so much I'm about to order one for a friend who has been admiring it very subtly!!

Purchased one of these years ago and have used it so often for grating and also storing the cheese. It is very easy to use with the different type of grating, easy enough to change.We cleaned ours in the dishwasher mainly and eventually it became very frosted and then eventually it cracked, which is why we purchased a new one instantly.Seems to be a newer version, but so far have been pleased with it. Hasn't frosted in the dishwasher yet.Recommended.

At last a grater with a full sized box, I poured 1 litre in it, so shows what a good size it is, enough for a cauliflower cheese or a full size pizza. No more bits of cheese to be picked up it's all in one place. The cutting plates are very sharp so you need to take care of your fingers, it's easy to wash and dry and doesn't take up much space when put back in it's box. If you grate things often then this is an excellent buy.

This is great for grating cheese and carrots, I tried using the slicer, and I cut the side of my hand badly. I have not used the other attachments yet as I own a microplane for zesting. It is very sturdy and does not not when you are using it. I have not had this in the dishes washer due to other coomments re this item. I would recommend this, but use with caution!

Iv tried many types of cheese graters over the years and this is the best by far. Everything is contained together so that you don't need to find tubs or plates for the cheese to fall on like some other graters need. Also with the exra blades you get for different types of grating/slicing it's perfect. It's so easy to clean and store away.

Excellent buy but do use protection when using the sharp blade for slicing, I had an incident when slicing potatoes, not pretty...very, very sharp.....I am going to look for some kind of protector before I use again in the future...nearly took top of my finger off..., sliced my finger and nail off, part from that great buy.

The standard grater does a good job as does the mandolin blade & the base is non slip - which is good for people with dodgy hands, like me!The 'fine' grater is the sort that you would use for nutmeg not cheese unfortunately & there is no lid to seal the base for storage purposes otherwise it would get 5 stars.

Extremely pleased with this grater. I bought it because the zester on my old one was blunt .... I hadn't realised the cheese grater was too!It is a very convenient grater, it has rubber feet to stop it slipping and the grater edge is sloped to assist grating. Several graters plus a cutting blade are provided.

Brilliant - bought it for my wife as a joke Christmas present, but she absolutely loves it. The choice of blades allows for numerous applications, it's easy to use and of course no mess, but warning - the blades are very sharp so caution is required when getting to the last thin sliver of food.

this is the best grater i have ever owned i can grate a 500 gm piece of cheese in about 1 minute and is easy to keep clean,only reason i have not given 5 stars is the base clouds a bit after washing a few times but not a problem as i know what im grating anyway lol

Such a simple solution to one of life's annoying problems !!We use this grater most days on a variety of things...cheeses/carrots/apples etc.Easy to use and easy to clean...wouldn't be without it and I often remind my wife that it was my idea to buy it !!

I ordered this item as I needed a new cheese grater and this seemed to fit the bill at a very reasonable price. The base comes with four inserts for normal grating, ribbon grating, slicing and grating nutmeg, ginger, zesting etc. Very pleased !

Very sturdy, it feels very strong. It has little silicon parts underneath that allow the grater to stand still when in use and not to move around. Different types of interchangable graters provided in the box. Very happy with this purchase.
