The Grater is very flimsy. It does not clamp down properly and chunks of cheese or carrot just shoot out of the gaps. Aslo if you hold the grater with the barrel facing down into the plate or dish you catch your thumb each time with the grinding handle. It's a shame it is not made of stronger metal, as it will buckle very easily. Nice idea to have different grating sizes, but generally the item is too flimsy to last any length of time, and it takes ages to grate anything, as you need to keep stopping to pick up the chunks that have fallen through the large gaps.

I was very disappointed in this grater as poor quality build.
