Excellent little device, works exactly how i liked it to do, bigger than i thought as well at 4 inches top to bottom (size was never mentioned at all in any descriptions?) ordered it Monday, got the confirmation within the usual 30 min then at the end of the day was sent an email informing that it had been dispatched and was due two weeks later, the little liars! it arrived two days later, i am well happy with it and the sellers!Yeah the 'nutmeg holder' is too small, but as mine come in jars i am not going to make as much of an issue about it as so many others have in their reviews, try grinding some of it and then popping it in there after you have used it?

I didn't actually realise that it had a small little lid at the top which acts as a container for your nutmeg. This was just a bonus to me,It works fine, it has an eyelet if you want to hang it but it also has a magnetic quality so if you use one of those magnetic strips to hold your kitchen paraphernalia then it is perfect

Bought to replace an older version which got lost. Unfortunately this version has a smaller pocket at the top, which isn't really big enough to close the lid with a whole nutmeg in, plus the lid detaches too easily. Still useful - just not as good as the old one.

Bought this as I'm sure I remember my grandmother having one (but perhaps that was a dream). Works brilliantly. Yes the storage bit at the top is small, but it is only for the nutmeg currently in use. I liked it so much, I bought a second one for my caravan.

My friend had one of these and as soon as I saw it, I wanted one. Its stainless steel, nice handy size and design. It has a little compartment on the top which is enough to hold several nutmegs in too. Super value for money too. Defo recommend.

for the price this is great, sturdy enough to be used and easy to clean but the little storage bit isn't up to much (too small even for cheap supermarket nutmeg nuts) but that's what the storage jar is for :)

If you want to grate Nutmegs, this is the tool for you. Nice and compact and has room for one nutmeg inside so that there is no need to search cupboards for the jar of Nutmegs bought earlier.

Excellent for nutmeg especially as it has a useful little storage compartment. I keep it on a hook beside the stove so it is always at hand for sauces, etc.. A worthwhile kitchen gadget.

Love this. It's so small and grates very well. There is a space for storing one nutmeg in the top of the grater but I think I will just keep them in a bottle until needed.

I have got to say in love this littl nutmeg grater. It is so handy it grates lovely and fine and you can store a nutmeg in the top so you know where it is. Fantastic.

It grates nutmeg perfectly well, but there's absolutely no way you could fit more than 1 VERY small whole nutmeg in the top compartment (as is shown in the picture).

Excellent value and delivered quickly, though my Mum who I'd purchased it for thought there might be an actual nutmeg included, was quite rightly disappointed!!!

I wanted a grater specifically for grating nutmeg. I bought a tiny one which was useless. This is a perfect size with the added bonus of storing a nut inside it.

Every kitchen needs to have this and whole nutmegs !I have one for the last 50 years, and just gave this new one to a friend of mine!Perfect little grinder!

It's a compact little nutmeg grinder, & I had no problem fitting a nutmeg & a half in the top, so others may have super-sized nutmegs. Would hugely recommend!
