We really like this kettle, especially the textured, sparkly graphite finish, although the texture does make it tricky to wipe it down.It’s easy to fill, boils quickly and less noisily than some, switches off reasonably quickly and pours well. It isn’t too heavy and is well-balanced for pouring. The scale filter is easy to remove and refit; it looks like a bit of an afterthought but may well do the job perfectly – I don’t know yet.The kettle can be emptied completely through the spout – many kettles leave water behind, trapped by the filter housing. Who hasn't stumbled into the kitchen on a dark morning and put the kettle on? The 'Tower T10040B Glass Kettle with LED Blue Light' may not help you find it initially, but you will see it when it is on. The inside lights up when the water is being heated so that you get a purple glow. This is a nice feature but is more about looks than helping to produce hot water.Thankfully, Tower are a good quality brand and the rest of the kettle is of a high standard. The black version has a nice textured plastic to it and the glass element is thick. Like any kettle you would not want to touch it after it has boiled it, but the glass is thick enough that you will not instantly burn yourself should you mistakenly do so.

Quick and quietIt's been a over a week using this product. I can say it's great at making a cuppa.The positivesFairly fast 1+ to boil a quick cup of tea.Not as noisy as some kettles I have had.The glass side and blue light make the water dance with memorising light when it's in a dark kitchen.The negatives... Ok so I didn't read the instructions at first... So I cannot really complain...The first time using the kettle the water was a bit off. But after quick reading the instructions it said I had to boil it a couple of times before use.After that the teas were perfect.ConclusionBuy it. Fairly cheap, quiet and robust kettle.Making green tea I cannot taste any metallic or plasticy resaude.

This stylish kettle is beautifully balanced, with an extremely comfortable handle and a well-designed & manufactured spout. The 360 degree rotating base means it's easy to use whether you're right or left handed. It holds enough water to fill approximately 7 cups or 5 mugs (obviously this depends on their size), boils quicker than most other kettles I've used, and pours perfectly.My only minor quibble (apart from the colour, which is of course a matter of personal taste) is that the water level indicator is somewhat difficult to see because it's behind the handle rather than on the side of the kettle.The RRP of £40-ish does seem to be on the high side though when you consider that similar

I bought this kettle to match the four slice toaster from the same “Glitz” range which I had received via the Vine program. As I was impressed with the toaster and it coincidentally matched my kitchen colour scheme, I got the kettle to match! It’s a good kettle, nothing out of the ordinary feature wise, but performs exactly as required. The sparkly colour of the main body looks great and has the added bonus of making the kettle easier to clean as opposed to a completely chrome finish, which often attracts finger prints and stains. My main reason for purchasing was to complete the look of my kitchen, which complements this range nicely.

Just love this kettle, can't believe I am excited about a kettle !! I have always ended up with cheap black kettles, usually difficult to keep clean and don't last as long as I would hope. Saw this and having just brightened up the kitchen decided it would look good - and it does. Firstly it comes really well packaged and protected. The metallic finish is so unusual, it does everything it should do, large capacity and quick boil and not as noisy as some. I like Tower anyway and it is great to have their brand and an unusual finish - visitors have been impressed. Now all I need is a matching toaster.

This 1.7 litre kettle is a very good product. It looks good-the coppery-pink finish is a great match with our kitchen units and the pink interior lights are great fun.It is efficient, boiling at full in just under 4 minutes and allowing for the minimum boiling of 0.5 litre. The handle is easy to grip and the kettle fills well from the top or the spout which has a filter.The body is squatter than my previous 1.7 and the base unit takes up little space, but I thought it a little light and less robust than I would expect.Overall a very recommendable and stylish addition to any kitchen

For a kettle, this one makes some lofty claims - boiling a cup's worth of water in 45 seconds indeed. But the only way to know is to try it.The kettle itself is very nice to look at - dark grey and shimmery with a look and feel of graphite.So putting it to the test. One cup of water in (and a little extra to boil off) to test how quickly it boils.While i will admit I didn't time it, i was impressed with the speed. Also the whole house couldn't hear it unlike my old kettle.Really nice addition to the kitchen and one that will get lots of use!

This is certainly very handy Kettle and we really adore it especially in winters. It is quite easy to fill, gives you a quick boil with almost no noise. I’m quite impressed with the way it pours, absolutely no spill.It definitely gets very hot after the boiling as it is made up of single skin metal. Even though the single skin metal put the weight down and it is ideal for travelling, one still needs to very cautious, especially with young children in the house.Rest is good. Affordable to buy and can be given as a gift also.

This is a lovely kettle which looks great and heats up water fast as its supposed to. I have the rose gold one which looks fantastic and my granddaughters love that it lights up pink as its heating the water!The saying a watched kettle never boils does not ring true with this kettle... watching it is a pleasure.. it still boils fast but the show is fantastic!

I absolutely live this kettle. It heats up water really way icky and has beautiful pink led lights. It also has non drip spout which I never had before. The rose gold and glass design fits perfectly within my kitchen, as I have quite few rose gold accessories. Really nice quality kettle.

Very nice kettle. The first one i got after a few weeks kept switching its self off half way through trying to boil. When i contacted the Company they sent me another one. Very quick delivery.No more problems with the replacement. Very nice Company xx

Lovely kettle but by god the lime scale build up! I have tried everything to get rid of it having no luck even at scrubbing the glass ?♀️ looks like il be buying my next kettle after just 5 months of purchase..

Delivery was good and this kettle is nice, boils quickly, the pink light in the transparent middle is just what I wanted, sits nicely on its base and doesn't wobble, boiling noise is not too loud
