I'm no whisky connoisseur however after a quick lesson by the wonderful people at the whisky store in tomintoul I have a few guidelines as to what I like (including adding the angels tear). My entry level,whisky was dalwhinnie, with a preference for the winter distilled one, which does not bite back. However on finding this Tobermory gem, I find this is even gentler. Not smoky, not peaty, gentle, and very pleasant. For those in the know to evaluate my uneducated palate, my go to whisky has been an oloroso casked glenglassaugh.

I ordered this item on 17th December and it was due for delivery in the new year - imagine my surprise and complete delight when it arrived today, and by a charming,happy and smiling carrier. Thank you, I am so impressed with the service from my provider of choice who has again exceeded expectations and of course the glorious whisky - my favourite!

One of the most improved malts over the past five or six years.Now unchillfiltered and at a higher strength of 46.3 percent,this Tobermory bears little resemblance to the wishy washy whisky on offer some years back.An excellent value for money malt,and recommended for both novice and experienced tippler alike.

A top brand whisky that has had me searching for it for an age . The ease of buying and it's prompt delivery was excellent. Considering I was buying a bottle of liquid I was pleased with the expert wrapping/safety and for once id not begrudge the postage.Thank you.

Not really a whiskey connoisseur but this one strikes a beautiful balance. Had a chance to taste before you buy opportunity at he Tobermory distilIery and was hooked. I would highly recommend this. An absolutely wonderful single malt whiskey.

A very nice drink but I have gone back to Glenfiddich 18 year old which is considerably smoother (like silk) and doesn't cost that much more than the 10 year old Tobermory.

Will be buying again. Excellent malt. Packed full of flavour and of good strength. A tea spoon or so of water and leave in the glass for ten minutes opens up the flavours.

My grandson is 18 years old and handicapped but he naturally wants to be as normal as possible, I bought this so he could be like his Dad and have a bottle of whiskey.

Try this if you like the idea of whisky but have yet to find one that isn't a touch too harsh - this one is easy to drink and very moreish.

Bought for my father, it's the benchmark for him, I have bought him many single malts but he always states this is the one for him.
