As someone with a severe silicone allergy, I struggled to find an actual plastic ice tray. This tray and its handles are made of plastic, I bought two trays, received one in purple the other blue. The trays are perfect, strong and stable, maintain their integrity when filled and are strong enough, allowing me to 'tap out' the contents before transferring to a ziplock bag. I bought these with a view to preserving citrus juice. The lid locks securely into position, keeping the contents protected from external contamination in the freezer. Great product, glad I found it. Highly recommend!

Surprisingly difficult to find something as simple as some ice cube trays.This is fine and the lid covers but does not seal so they have to be put in level.I use it for grated ginger & garlic, never ice and it's absolutely fine for these - I note some reviewers say water spills but these are more solid.The lid is useful in term of stacking and stopping contamination.

Great for those with limited freezer space as you can stack under other foods in the freezer (very carefully if it's not frozen yet).The lid doesn't make it leak proof, just more convenient to use up all freezer space.I struggle getting the ice cubes out sometimes, it's easier if you take the lid off before trying to move the tray to loosen up the cubes.

I bought this because of the lid and because I have a general preference for Sistema storage products. It is very high quality... its not going to snap easily when removing ice cubes and the lid is so useful. Just one star off because the lid is actually a little too substantial with clips top and bottom each side, and therefore a little stiff.

Sistema delivers another great product. Small freezer and this small tray is perfect; easy to remove cubes and lid adds extra bonus if you need to stack items in your freezer. The lid does not make it spill-proof, but I knew that before I bought this. Would recommend.

We use these to freeze blended/mashed food for babies and they are perfect for that because the lid keeps them separated from anything else in the freezer until you can pop the cubes out and transfer into bags. We have four now, great!

It leaks. I use it to freeze cordial and fruit puree - which will leak everywhere if the thing gets tipped at all (even when supposedly frozen). Probably OK for plain water but beware if you want to be a bit more creative with things.

No more leaks, click on lid thats easy to put on (not so easy to remove but it's frozen and perfect Ice cubes every time, what more cold a man possibly need. It is however, quite expensive, but I'd say worth it.

Best ice cube tray I’ve ever owned! I make ice and then transfer them to a reuseable bag and then make more. The lid is great to use to flip out the made ice onto, great product all round and well made

Perfect size cubes and quite large so plenty of ice to share - not too sure why a lid is needed so never used it and took the side clips off. The body is flexible enough to pop the cubes out easily

THE CLIP-ON COVERS ARE INVALUABLE WHILST CAREFULLY FREEZING THE ICE-CUBES AND THEN FOR PREVENTING THE ICE-CUBES FROM LEAVING THE TRAY AND DISAPPEARING AMIDST THE SHELVES IN OUR FREEZER - IDEAL !

needed to make iced coffee cubes for my morning protein shakes the lid is an excellent idea to keep the liquid in whilst it becomes ice good size cubes all round nifty product I'm very satisfied

I have been looking for something like this for a while as I hate how the ice gets crystals on and takes on smells of the freezer, this is great for making and keeping my ice perfect :)

the best ice tray ever once you buy you wont buy anything less no fuss perfect ice will say my husband was too rough and snapped off one of the clips but his fault not the tray :)

I love the lidded ice cube trays, s I hate ice that has been exposed to the freezer, it always tastes tainted. This stops that happening and is more hygienic
