This is an excellent product - so first of all may I coagulate the manufacturers on a job well done.It is certainly refreshing to know that the boffins behind such products clearly take a bit of pride in their work, which is obviously why they do not work for the local council.it makes you wonder what these people are actually paid for. I don't see any benefit from my council tax, and don't even start me on the potholes round our way.I bet if the people who make this container were put in charge you'd see a difference to the roads straight away.Anyway, i have found this is easily big enough to fit at least two standard sized tins of Cross & Blackwell All day Breakfast in it.I have also tried seeing how it works with a range of other items - beans and sausage, macaroni cheese, tins of plain beans or even that old favorite spaghetti bolognese.Obviously I have not sampled the 'own brand' products that you get from food banks like Aldi - but then why waste a fine microwavable container on such inferior goods? I mean I dread to think how a tin of 'own brand' beans would stack up in a head to head with a trusty tin of Heinz. It's be no contest really - like a boxing match between a professional heavyweight and one of those fops you get on Strictly Come Prancing.I reckon somebody like Anthony Joshua would be the equivalent of a tin of All Day Breakfast. If I had to personify a tin of Beans with Pork Sausages then I'd go for Wladimir Klitschko, and I reckon Tyson Fury would be a tin of Big Soup.Deontay Wilder is a tasty fighter, so I reckon he'd be a tin of Spaghetti Bolognese, whilst Nicola Adams would carry off being a tin of Beef Ravioli with a plum.A tin of 'own brand' would probably be somebody like Danny Dyer, but cost a little more.I heard that apparently the bloke behind Aldi and the bloke behind Lidl are actually brothers who fell out. I can only presume that they argued about who could get the lowest standard of clientele.Anyway by my logic this container would easily fit a tin of Anthony Joshua and have ample room for two tins of Klitschko or tins of Deontay. You might even get a tin of Joshua and a couple of tins of Deontay in there, which would be very satisfying.I wouldn't mix a tin of Tyson Fury in with a tin of Nicola Adams though, as obviously a tin of Tyson Fury just wouldn't complement Ms. Adams' rich tomato sauce.I definitely would buy another of these if Heinz did a bigger range of boxers in tins.

Wish I could say a massive thank you to whoever picked my items at Amazon - absolutely perfect choices! I ordered breakfast, soup, small rectangles, large rectangles .... Two of each to make takeaway lunches while out and about this Summer or for taking into work. I had to opt for the breakfast colours so choose pink (for me) and blue (for The Hubs). I was so pleased that the associate had obviously realised my intent and supplied a complete set in green (which works with the blue) and a complete set of purple (which I works with the pink). It will make it so much simpler for leftovers in the fridge or reaching into the cooler! I love these boxes ... They hold up very well in and out of the dishwasher (top shelf),don't stain easily, the vents make it easy microwave. The small rectangles are a very good size for me but I have a small appetite and don't fill it - make a great size for The Hubs' main course but I add a second for his veggies or use the larger rectangle. He undertakes a lot of swimming, canoeing, water skiing, and diving, so the breakfast size works for his oatmeal with fruit on top, or scrambled eggs with grated cheese and chopped ham on top. I am partially disabled so I use mine to get my fruit portions with homemade bio yoghurt in. All stay safe and sound. The soup is big enough for a whole can of Baxters (or freshly prepared/homemade equivalent) ... But in my case, I microwave then put my half tin in a separate mug, while storing the other half in the Sistema ready for heating again for the following lunch. The soup also works well if you want to quickly steam a portion of fresh or frozen veg through.

I have used a sistema breakfast bowl for the past 2 years and it has done everything from cold cereal to hot noodles and soup. I love that bowl so much, the design is flawless and so useful, I therefore jumped at the chance to get some more products from Sistema.Pros: All three boxes have dual clips on them that are on hinges rather than being flexible plastic which In my experience does fail after a while.: All three boxes have air vents on the top so that you can cook liquids in the microwave and avoid splatters but allow steam to escape.: The plastic is durable, My old bowl has survived numerous trips through the dishwasher and being rough handled at work.Cons: There is no rubber seal aroundthe edge of the pots which allows for liquids to seep out of the sides if you tip it in transit.: The "cool touch" lifting tabs are a bit pointless seeing as you can grip the release latches on the sides and remove food from the microwave that way.Overall I can recommend this product as I have been using a similar design for a couple of years in the microwave and work without any problems at all. My only moan is the lack of rubber seal for the edges which would have allowed me to tilt the pot about in my work bag without leaking,

At £5.99 each they're more expensive than others, but as soon as you see the quality you'll understand where that money went. The clips are great quality and securely lock the lid in place. I imagine they're probably not completely leak-proof, so if you want to store a saucy food in there and then put it in your bag, you might want to test it for leaks first.Where the insides of cheaper containers quickly become damaged after a few uses in the microwave, these are not so easily affected by the high temperature conditions of a microwave and have stood the test of time remarkably well compared to containers from other brands. The size is perfect for a full meal for one, about the same size as a portion of curry and chips or a chicken chow mein from the chippy. Also in times like these, food containers are essential to replace the packaging of food that may be contaminated with the virus. We open the container, place it on the kitchen counter ready for use, and then while wearing gloves, open a packet of food and empty it into this container and throw the packet and gloves in the bin. This gives us some peace of mind.I would recommend them for sure, and if they're on offer it's a no brainer.

This was the first item from the Sistema range that I bought and I liked it so much that I purchased more as gifts for family members. It is in virtual daily use and I find is ideal for microwave cooking of vegetables (particularly asparagus given its shape). Before I purchased one of these, I rarely cooked vegetables in the microwave but now it feels like anathema to do anything else – and that is wholly down to how easy this range is to use.The lid with an open/shut steam vent is fantastic as it ensures nothing spatters over the inside of the microwave but also that burnt fingers are easily avoided as there is also no spillage on removal from the turntable. The lid also helps to retain the heat should you have more than one element to cook.Having tried various microwave innovations over the years, this is the best I have come across measured by both the range of containers available but, more importantly, how easy they are to use. They stay looking good for years with the only sign of age a slight discolouration to the lid – but for an item in virtually daily use, that is nothing to complain about.

I have used Systema for years and will be continuing to use them. They work really well and are reliable. They seal well enough, microwave effectively and are easy to wash. This particular set of 3 rectangular containers is actually one largish one and 2 smaller but equally sized containers. The large one measures, at its widest points, 23cm x 15cm x 8cm high and has a volume of 1.25l whilst the 2 smaller ones each measure 14cm x 11cm x 8cm high and have a volume of 525ml each.I have been using these as food containers, not for soups, so liquid inside is minimal, and I have had no leakage (just make sure lid is clipped shut properly). That said, they have no rubber ring so I would not trust these with soups.Besides, these are not designed to carry liquids. I actually have other soup specific systema containers and they have a rubber ring within the lid that helps seal and stops leakage. For me, these 3 containers have proven fantastic for keeping leftovers. To re-heat, simply ensure that the tab is open, allowing airflow, pop into the microwave for a few minutes and viola, warm/hot leftovers !!

I’d recently purchased some of these Sistema Microwave dishes for my son to go with his new microwave so I already knew what excellent quality they are. These Heat & Eat 3 Pack are perfect for on the go meals, from cooking with them in the microwave, to freezing them for another time and taking them with you when at work or school, they are a great size for lunch or dinner. They’re made of strong Phthalate and BPA free plastic that’s made in New Zealand. There’s 2 525ml deep dishes with lids, and 1 1.25L dish with lid, all have excellent 2 clip ‘Klip It’ locking sides and pressure release vents on top for splatting free cooking in the microwave. They’re dishwasher safe too.My son uses his with his long shift work as a key worker these Sistema dishes are perfect to take to work as they’re leak proof and easy to warm up his dinner in the staff microwave. I absolutely recommend them, they’re the best quality microwave/freezer dishes I’ve had, I’ll only purchase from Sistema brand now.

It’s not the quality itself, as the material is not the best one when it comes to cleaning from oily/buttery residues, but the versatility of this container is awesome.I thought it couldn't be much different from the round one, only a bigger size, but where that one can’t grant proper complete cooking, this one is absolutely perfect and succeeds in a shorter time than the other.I ended up cooking everything in it, from spaghetti to chicken and meatballs to vegetables.Everything gets ready at the right point and without any leaking. The round one is very annoying when you prolong the time and leaking is almost granted when you try pasta or sauces. This rectangular one is the only one I shouldhave bought since the beginning. Not that long as expected though: spaghetti will fit only if broken in half, which is something not everyone will love doing... If you can cope with it, this is recommended.

I'm a big fan of Tupperware and I get oddly excited to upgrade and get new containers!! These are by far more high tech than my current boxes due to the very handy microwave steam vent which means you can leave the lid on, click the vent open and not have to balance lids on top like I usually do.The boxes are very sturdy and come in a 3 pack of 2 smaller squares and a long oblong one. The larger one I've found is particularly handy for if I cook a shepherds pie for example and I can split it in half and store it in the box ready for re-heating another day and the smaller ones are good for smaller child portions or for leftovers.Very useful and also as a small plus, there's no annoying stickers to have to try and peel off, which I've had with many Tupperwares!! Great range of boxes, a nice compact size for storing in the fridge until needed.

Absolutely love these. I batch make foods like curry and lasagne and having a container that can go into the microwave and not burn my hands when I take it out is fab. The clip lock hole on the top makes using these containers so easy. Just flick it open to let the steam out whilst microwaving no need to take the lid off. We have also noticed that after washing the containers they don't retain the smell of the food which is ideal when used for strong foods like curry. The large tubs are ideal for a double portion, the smaller one for one serving or for things like stewed apple etc. that you may want to freeze. I'll definately buy more.I brought the whole range of Sistema products just before Christmas in anticipation of my new kitchen being installed which is on hold for the moment because of Covid. Well done Sistema on a great product.

I need something to replace my husband's old containers. I wanted something that wouldn't turn or melt from sauce or gravy when he takes his lunch.I really didn't have high expectations of these containers when we first got them, but these things are amazing!!, so easy to pack and much lighter weight than his old one. also love that the seal is airtight and doesn't let anything seep out even liquid. It also has vents that you can open to let the steam release when you're microwaving it.they're very neat, One is a large container great for storing proteins or large servings. 2 are medium sized. Great for storing sides. This isn't the set for a family saving a large amount of leftovers.Overall 5/5 worth the buy!

I find this container ideal to microwave fish or sweetcorn cobs for one person. I have even used it to make a cheese sauce in then added a grilled or fried sausage and added more sauce. In a couple of minutes microwaving the sauce will surround the sausage. Ideal to pop on a couple of slices of toast. You can steam long thin vegetables, green beans, carrots etc. This container is a handy size to warm a portion of lasagne for one and other meals and snacks.I don't trust the container to transport liquids around especially as it has only two clips but if removed from the microwave carefully later you can use a small amount of liquid to cook things.

I understand that these are designed to reheat ready made meals and leftovers, but I also use it for steaming small vegetable portions in the microwave, the release valve allows you to bung in some broccoli for example for 2 min with some water leaving valve open, take out micro, place base of container in cool water (sink etc and then close valve, it creates a mini vacuum and the veg then slowly cooks to your preferred texture depending on how long you leave it.Really easy to clean and in addition make saving left overs a breeze due to the compact size. Very durable and easy to clean also - great units!

I really like Sistema products. This is no exception. However, I am not using it to microwave things. I needed a cat-proof butter dish because my eldest kitten, Winnie is obsessed with butter and will do just about anything to get her paws on it — literally! This is the first and only dish that has proven itself Winnie-proof! So good that I got two, so I could have one in the dishwasher/cupboard and one in use. A hearty congratulations to the ingenious Kiwi engineers at Sistema for inadvertently designing a cat-proof butter dish — that I’m told doubles as a microwave dish!!
