This is a great bottle - it does not leak.Critically, it is BPA-free. BPA (bisphenol A) is often present in polycarbonates (which this type of bottle is made from). BPA is found in many plastics and may be linked to cancer. It is an unstable compound and can leach into food products. Once in food, BPA can move quickly into people - a particular concern for women of childbearing age and young children. So, it pays to buy BPA-free plastics for plastics used with food.It has one problem. You soon get black mould forming inside the lid which we found impossible to remove because you cannot reach it.So we bought another bottle - which succumbed to the identical problem.The problem is caused by the

The latest addition to our range of Sistema bottles; the others are either 330mlor 460ml and we needed something with a larger capacity. It's 220 mm tall and80 mm diameter. I find it's well proportioned and doesn't fall over easily. I alsolike the wide bottle opening which allows ice cubes to be dropped in if desired.The cap is still a 'twist n sip' lid which allows the bottle to be opened and closedwithout fingers touching the drinking tip. The cap is different to the other onesthat we have; firstly it click-locks open (and closed), also it now only requires aquarter turn (rather than half a turn) to fully open or close the lid.I have always put my Sistema bottles in the top rack of the dishwasher and theyhave always been fine,

I had to get an assorted colour as most were out of stock and I was worried I'd get an ugly one but I got pink with a purple lid (which I really like as I've got one that's purple with a pink lid). They're a nice size and much easier for me to drink from than other water bottles I've tried in the past and are especially good for travelling and drinking whilst laying down. They could leak if the top wasn't shut properly or if it got weak with repeated use but if you pop it in a plastic bag before you put it with your things you'll be fine if it did leak. I just reccomend you watch the sistema videos on cleaning the lids as lots of people get mould issues but that's just because they're not cleaning the tops properly.

Ive bought a couple of these in both colours for my kids packed lunches and I chose these over all the other bottles on the market because they were the only ones that were guaranteed dishwasher safe. The only (slight) downside is that they tend to absorb the 'dishwasher taste' that you seem to get when you dishwash plastics and silicone items and you end up having to at least rinse them out or completely handwash them which cancels out the handiness of them being dishwasher safe. On the whole they seem quite handwearing though my youngest has already managed to imprint all the spouts with endless teethmarks so maybe not suitable for the very young.

I'm really pleased with this bottle (also because it's pink). I was searching high and low for a 1L bottle and this 700ml bottle was as close as I could get. I'm aiming to drink a litre every day so I make sure I fill this bottle up every morning and drink it all by the end of the day. It's nice to grip and suck from. My only gripe with it (hence losing 1 star in the rating) is that the top unscrews itself too easily. It leaks if not kept upright. You screw the top on in one direction, then screw the pink section the other direction to 'open' the valve. It's far to easy to unscrew the whole thing. Not the end of the world but still a bit annoying.

Great water bottle! Have seen a lot of negative reviews about this bottle recently claiming that the bottle top builds up with mould and has made people unwell. I've had my bottle for months now, and my mum has had one too for 2 years....We both took apart the lids after reading the negative stories to find both our bottles clean and mould free! Think it may be down to how people allow their bottles to dry after washing. I just open the mouth piece up as I would to take a drink from it, then leave it on the drainer board for a few hours. Good product!

Fantastic price at only £2.25 as an add on. The product itself is of good quality and the twist n sip is really good. You do need to wash it SEVERAL times as the first couple of times we used it, the water tasted plasticky; even after soaking it in boiling soapy water. You can't select a colour via the Amazon purchase and this will be mainly for my husbands use on a building site so we had hoped we would not get pink!Anyway, I have since ordered 2 more as at this price a great buy!!

I love this bottle. I feel reassured that it is BPA free (although this isn't usually something I strive to find) and I think the colours are great- very vibrant. The price was good and the bottle is very easy to clean, to fill and to hold. I also appreciate that it has a 700ml capacity. I'm often guilty of not drinking enough but carrying this around with me I can keep tabs on how much I've had to drink to ensure I get enough. I really recommend this bottle!

Im sick of bottles always leaking all over my work bag and i work on a farm so its not very hygenic me pulling the mouth piece up alot with my hands when ive been doing bits on the farm so this invention for me is brilliant, It never leaks does this bottle and you twist the part just above the neck of the bottle to drink from it so your hands dont touch the mouth piece so no germs, and its a nice style and shape, I got my boyfriend one too but in blue :)

I've bought a few Sistema bottles over the years, and only ever had problems with the locking mechanism on one. - They do degrade after a year or so, developing a bit of a foisty smell that no amount of cleaning will remove. -I just replace them, recycling the old ones.If you add any flavoured drink to it, such as fruit juice, I'd recommend you didn't go back to just water as the smell lingers.

My wife's Zumba sessions are even more enjoyable now that she is using this Drinks Bottle, she loves the simplicity of the 'Twist and Sip' design and the fact that unlike other bottles on the market doesn't leak everywhere and she even agreed with my colour choice for her (Pink) - no brainer really :) anyway as far as I'm concerned It's definitely a great bottle and well worth the money.

This bottle is worth every penny. It's the first drinks bottle I have bought that doesn't leak all over my kids lunch bags (and believe me, I have bought loads). Not only that but the kids don't complain that they can't open it as the twist action is perfect. It holds a large volume so they have plenty to drink throughout the day and then washes perfectly in the dishwasher. A great find!

I wanted a BPA free bottle as my colleague at work kept telling me off for re-filling the evian/volvic type bottles as she says they can be harmful to your health. I wanted to be able to carry water around with me, including in my handbag so no leakage was a must. Also I try and drink a bottle in the car on the way to work so it has to be easy to drink from. This ticked all the boxes!

i use this everyday, didnt realise how babyish it was till i got it lol i dont really mind, i love the 'twist to drink' method on the bottle cap it comes in so handy when im out for my jog. the bottle is very light even when its filled to the brim with water, absolutely no leakage when sealed correctly. great little product really cant go wrong with it.

I’ve used several different styles of sisters bottles for my daughter at school now and this is defo one of the better ones. It doesn’t matter if the child digs their teeth Into the spout as they would drink this (have had this cause leaking in other styles of bottle) because it’s the inner piece in the valve that seals - not the outside of it. Good
