Small, square, but fits everything in. The plate stack backwards, which feels a bit weird until you get used to it, and the sides (4.5in high) are very useful for leaning things up against and stop pans sliding off. The cutlery thing only seems to fit on two corners (the one shown in the photo and the one on the opposite side diagonally), I can't get it to go on the other two - might be just me. The water goes out through four little holes in the centre of the 'bowl' and the spout can be positioned anywhere, even towards a corner. The metal wire drainer and feet do not rust like they do on other dishracks.Highly recommended and if I ever need another dishrack, it will be one of these.

This is a good dishrack for me as I just fits the main bowl of my sink so it's not too intrusive in the kitchen. I have a dishwasher so I use the half-bowl sink for doing odd bits of washing up and drain it in this rack in the large sink bowl.I like it that the excess water just drains through the holes in the base into the bottom bit which drains into the sink.I had one in black for 7 years and it was still going strong, but as I live in a hard water area there was limescale marks on it which get difficult to shift. I therefore decided to replace it but this time in the grey. Both colours look good in my kitchen.Good value for money compared to some on the market.

The Simplehuman Compact Dishrack is a good looking, well made and designed rack that fits perfectly on our smallish drainer, and in the sink as well.I was concerned, having read a number of reviews that plates would not stand in the rack ... Well our fairly hefty denby plates do, so I'm happy.We have a dishwasher, so most will go straight in there, but we do like to wash our wine glasses by hand, and we do have a few bits and pieces that I would not risk in the dishwasher.Although compact, the dishrack holds a fair amount. As for cleaning it, as it fits snuggly in the sink, a regular dunk with a mild bleach solution should keep everything nice and clean.

Ever since moving to an apartment that has one of those horrid belfast sinks (which by design is just a massive sink bowl with no drainer) so I literally have no way to dry the dishes after washing them. This product is a fantastic cure for that problem, as it can just sit on the counter-top just next to the sink, and it has a great little adjustable water shoot under where this dish rack drains from, which diverts all the excess water from this dishrack straight into the sink. Brilliant invention, and a total lifesaver!

I am a big fan of simplehuman products and this one is no exception.This is actually the second time we purchase this dish rack. We owned the exact same model (in white) for about 3 years and only decided to changed it due to moving house and needing another colour.You will not be disappointed by this. No rust, no fading of the colour no unpleasant surprises. This will just work and as long as you descale it once in a while it will just keep going and going and going...

I bought this for a replacement for my draining board, and it has done the job a treat..! It sits on the oak worktop, while all the water drips direct back into the sink via a drainage channel. This is a great highly rated item. I have bought more SuperHuman to compliment it.
