I was sent size 8.5 to review; I'm usually an 8 or 9 (varies with brand), but these are too small; my toes are right up at the end of the shoe. I found the width perfect , and I don't have narrow feet.However, other than them being a little short, they are comfortable. They coddle my feet and the unusual lacing system allows even, easy and accurate adjustments. However it's not entirely obvious what to do with the loop of cord that's leftover, which does seem a trip hazard.The heel looks about 2cm thick, and the ball about 1 cm, so except a 1cm drop. The sole is not flexible, but will protect your foot from uneven ground. The grip pattern is about 4mm deep so well suited to off road dry conditions.

Made in India ,these are rather attractive pastel shaded walking or hiking shoes which are nicely made with superior stitching.I was immediately surprised at how light these are especially given the rough terrain and treatment the manufacturers had in mind for them and I think this is what you are paying for.Sure they are not unattractive but they won't be winning any style awards or popping up in the catwalk in London Fashion week. However they are well made, light and I think resillient. They also have a 'quick tie' lace up system which looks a bit like a pulley - just in case you get chased up a hill by mountain goats in your underpants (

Well this is s tough one as this shoe has great grip and flexibility for trails but not great energy return. My GT2000 4 have better energy return bon harder surfaces but too stiff for comfortable trail running. It's like I need to be able to swap shoes during s running session which isn't practical. I do give this case 4 as it does seem durable even with my weight and heavy use on trails just wish it had more energy return but that may compromise it's flexibility.

I have owned many pairs of Salomon footwear, from running shoes to hiking shoes.They are always good quality, and they seem to fit me well, just have to order a half size larger than normal ( 12 instead of 11.5 )These are comfy, very grippy ( except wet rocks ) and look good enough to go out and about in. Mainly bought for my 4.5 miles walk to work, over a mix of pavement & trails.

These are another great pair of Salomon shoes. They seem really good but they are very narrow fitting on the top of the foot. My normal size was too small so I tried a larger size and still too small on the top of my foot. Unfortunately these shoes are not suitable for my feet.

Arrived on time. Not my first pair of saloman so knew they are a tight fit so defo go at least a size up or if you have wide feet maybe 2 sizes. I'm an 8 and went t for a 9.. They're comfy to wear straight out of box but are narrow. Worth the price I got them for

Love these shoes but they do run about a half size small so I had to order a half size larger than normal.

They don't seem to be true size. I ordered 9 and I should have ordered 9.5 for a better fit.

just got a half size bigger than normal shoes and they fitted very well and are comfortable
