I love these hiking boots! Very happy with my purchase. Here are the reasons why:- Warm (several hours in low 20 temps and my feet were nice and warm)- Lightweight (not bulky and feels more like a tennis shoe than a boot)- Waterproof (I tested running water directly over the toe area for several minutes and totally dry inside)- Easy to clean (the treads on the bottom are spaced apart for good traction and so that nothing gets stuck in them)- Fits true to shoe size even with thick socks (my normal shoes size is 7 / tennis shoes size 7 1/2. I bought 7 and they fit perfect)- Good support for both ankles and arches (I have very high arches but even after a 2 hour hike my feet feel great)- Super

I am super happy that I found these boots. My previous pair from a different brand had to much arch support for me personally and the toe box was super tight, and I have an average foot base, which made my adventures not a happy one. I first bought these for my husband and was extremely happy that they were what they advertised. I am always leery of buying any shoes online that I am unable to try first.I purchased these for myself a couple weeks ago and have since been a several hikes in all conditions. They are lightweight, waterproof and there was no need to break them in, extremely comfortable from the get go. On my last hike I ran into 2 people who had the same pair and loved them as well!

I choose to buy this pair after comparing the weight with other boots. They haven't disappoint, I love that they don't weight much. After more than 10 hikes, I can say they are Comfortable, lightweight, "water resistant" enough, and when they do get wet they don't add too much extra weight and easy to clean. The only thing is that the ankle support is not the best compared to other hiking boots, but the shoelaces are long enough that you can wrap them around the ankle area of the boot when the hikes need more support, but for moderate hikes it supports the ankle enough.

Wow! I cannot rave about these boots enough. I completed several really tough, wet, muddy hikes and never felt wet within the shoe. Despite the heat, the shoe managed well not too make my feet sweat too much. Additionally, the traction was great and the height gave me plenty sturdiness.Purchased for a 1 month trip to Hawaii December 2020. I ordered 5 pairs of boots to try on before making a decision. I am normally a size 6.5 and ordered these in a 6.5 which ended up fitting too small in the toe box. Then ordered the 7, which fit perfectly.

Wore them for the first time yesterday. 8 mile hike. 4 miles down a mountain, through streams, over rocks, in dust, hot, cold. Then 4 miles back up the mountain. LUCKY for me, they were comfortable!! No first time blisters (I'm dumbfounded by this!!) Lightweight, repelled water (was not expecting that!) My feet and legs today, the day after, are good! And I'm 55 with a crappy knees and bunions. HA! Bad footwear on this rugged journey could have truly left a mark. They paid for themselves one hike. WELL worth the cash. Highly recommend.

I absolutely LOVE these hiking boots! I saw them in REI but they didn’t have my size so I immediately ordered them on Amazon. I don’t need much arch support so I can’t comment there as I have a very low arch so it feels good for my feet. They are definitely true to size and the ankle height doesn’t bother in any odd areas at all. I’ve even gone out for quick little 4 mile hikes with short socks on in these and they didn’t leave a mark around my ankles. I will definitely buy these again when mine eventually wear down from use!

Love these boots. They are just so comfortable. They hold and support the foot perfectly whilst leaving plenty of wiggle room in the toe (nothibg worse than having your toes pinched together). They are incredibly lightweight. They are described as waterproof however if you were to immerse your feet in water, they would get wet or at least damp. The fabric on the top of the toe is certainly highly water resistant but if it gets wet you can feel some dampness. Shoes clean up well and colorway is stylish. Very pleased.

I love these shoes! They just look, fit and feel like you expect. I was a little disappointed that price went down right after I bought them. But I never regret. This product is totally worth it. I used these shoes for hard downhill hiking in mountains with slippery rocky mountain, they literally helped me to make that hike. I don't know why I didn't buy them earlier! And also (which is a good bonus) they don't look like worker's shoes as other boots, they are lite and nicely looking as regular sneakers.

really pleased. very comfortable and lightweight. great to have ankle support. they seem to be waterproof ( but i haven't really tested this in pouring rain) but having ,worn them all day my feet aren't sweaty. wonderful to get the longer lengths in ladies ie narrower. my feet are on the narrow side and these boots, with they're lacing all down the foot ,enable a fit which is better than most. expensive, but i shall be buying another pair as soon as i've saved up! ...just in case they stop making them...

The shoe is an all-rounder exactly as described: It fits very well (I usually wear size 40 and have it in 40 2/3 - fits well, but shouldn't be smaller either, because the shoe (in a positive way) tight), is wonderfully light and comfortable. I have the feeling that breaking in is not necessary because the shoe is very soft to the touch. Due to the sporty design, you can also wear it on city tours. I am completely satisfied with the shoe itself, as well as with the fast delivery via Trekkinn.

They are beautiful looking hiking boots, very light. However they were a bit too small and narrow as the tongue is sowed to the sides. I needed to exchange them for half size biger. Waiting for delivery. Hopefully they will be alright this time as I really like them. Will update you shortly.I've just received a second pair. And they are a perfect fit. A bit of room for winter sock. Haven't tried them outside yet. I hope they are waterproof as the description says.

I purchased these in high hopes that I would love them as much as the SALOMON Speed Cross 4 trail runners however I was sadly disappointed. They are nice looking, lightweight, and comfortable but I would probably purchase 1 size smaller knowing what I know now. The toe box is large and had a flopping sound as I walked. I returned these in hopes of finding a hiker more like the Speed Cross 4. I liked these but not enough to return them for a smaller size.

These boots never required breaking in. I bought them for a weekend hiking trip, and they worked beautifully. They were comfortable, light, and very grippy. I ordered some Keen hiking boots as a back-up, but the back was a little lower than these and rubbed on the back of my ankle just walking around the house, so I was afraid I would end up getting blisters. These worked like a charm!

Great shoe! Comfy and stylish. I do find it strange that I had to get an 8 when I am usually an 8.5 or 9. I've never fit an 8 until now. I have the blue version in the low tops also and they are sized the same and feel super comfy on the trail. Not sure about how waterproof they are yet.

As always with Salomon, good quality, beautiful design, size smaller than the standard but we know, simply add 2/3 to your usual size or use the size guide, perfectly reliable. No complaints about the Trade Inn service, fast, secure, efficient, unbeatable price. I recommend :)
