I am one of those sad people that will research something like a small kitchen appliance within an inch of its life before making a purchase. The main reason being is because I want to buy the best I can afford for a great quality item that will last. Let's just put this out there - the Sage brand here in the UK is actually produced by Breville though Breville have been going for many years and this is clearly the premium end of their product line. Features I love include the fingerprint proof satin finish and soft open lid. The kettle has a satisfying "ping" once boiled and pours beautifully. We do not have the same issue with regard to the water level indicator - by simply lifting the kettle

We spent weeks researching kettles from all different suppliers. After reading reviews, some of which I’m glad I ignored, we chose this one. After a couple of weeks of use, we are very pleased. More expensive, but you get what you pay for; great quality. The soft bell that signifies the kettle has boiled is hardly noticeable as is the sound of boiling. For this I am grateful I chose this kettle as if I had believed other reviews I wouldn’t have done.

I do like this kettle, it a good weight and looks very premium. Good quality stainless steel, easy to clean, just one thing lets it down, which i knew about before purchasing is the window for the water level. You do get used to it after a while but just odd to have a greenish cover on the window.

I absolutely love this kettle. It looks so cool on my kitchen counter (I bought the matching toaster as well) and I absolutely love the little ding it give when it boils. It holds much more water than my previous kettles as well. Love it!

Solid, stylish kettle. Lid construction looks like a bit of weak point, especially if you slam it down hard in a half asleep state. Otherwise pleased.
