At first glance it seems impossible that this kettle is a 1.7 litre capacity, so sure that it was too small, out came the measuring jug! Sure enough 1.7! The kettle needs two or three boils to remove plastic odours and once done there is no smell or taste. The Kettle is quite wobbly on its stand but is very safe. It pours very well with no leaks from the lid whatsoever, but it is a bit overpriced in that it looks nice but also cheap and plasticky too! It is boasted by the manufacturer as being rapid boil, I have dropped one star because it takes a full five minutes to boil making it no faster than the kettle it is replacing!

Not the cheapest but approved/recommended by Which? and that is good enough for me and it is nice to look at. It boils very fast and very quietly compared to its predecessor! The only thing that disappoints is the the plastic flip switch for boiling which doesn't look particularly robust and also looks cheap compared to the body of the kettle which is stainless steel. If it got accidentally dropped or knocked, I guess it could break. But all in all, it is a really nice kettle - no regrets whatsoever.

OMG we absolutely love everything about this kettle.The style is great.The colour hue from base upwards is very attractive.It's boils quickly and quietly and would recommend this kettle to anyone.We love it so much we're awaiting arrival of the matching toaster even though our existing toaster works perfectly well, we find the look of both these items aesthetically pleasing.

I've recently purchased this kettle because I liked the look of it. It was very quiet and boils quickly, but for some reason a few days after it's started making weird noises when it's switched on.. I'm not sure why but it works fine and looks very nice.. maybe it will go quiet again soon? I wouldn't buy it again really tbh..

I bought this as it's recommended by Which? and I was not disappointed. It pours really well and is very quiet. The styling is perhaps not what I would have preferred but having struggled with a noisy kettle where the water came over the top unless you poured it very slowly, this has been a godsend.

Arrived as scheduled. Pleased with purchase. Previous kettle Russell Hobb decided to buy another. Nice design would look fine in any kitchen. Quieter than previous kettle would recommend.

An excellent kettle. I particularly liked the cupmarkers inside the kettle which alows you to boil exactly the right amount of water, saving a lot of electricity in the long run
