When this arrived and I unpacked it I was pleasantly surprised and how smart it looked and with the oak finish it fits perfectly on my oak sideboard! It's very compact with a lovely digital screen. I plugged it in and it started to scan automatically..... and that was it! It was all set up for me, even the date and time! When I selected a station the sound is really crystal clear even when it's up loud, and for such a small unit it can definitely go up very loud! Excellent product, very pleased!

This is a fantastic little DAB radio, looks nice in oakIdeal for my kitchen, so compact, nice quality sound, it has the feel of an item that is more expensive than it actually is.I have run it for over 30 hours before recharge it so ideal for taking out to the shed without bothering with cables.Navigation is easy as well so that’s a bonus if you’re eyesights anything like mine.So yeah ! Great sound, lovely feel , nice piece of kit so an all round thumbs up to the pure evoke H2 from me.

The sound quality is brilliant very crisp and clear and loud , I was surprised how compact it is which is good as it does not take up a lot of space on the bedside table . Set up is seconds and the time is automatically done for you . I did have to read the manual several times to set alarm but got there in the end , it really does look stylish fits in well in the bedroom , only downfall it does not come with a battery need to purchase separately . Very happy with this .

I bought the Pure Evoke H2 Portable DB + FM Radio with Alarm in Oak as a replacement for a Pure Chronos on which the hardware had gone awry. I love the compact sleek design and the Oak blends in with my furniture and fixtures.On the functionality side it was a dream to set up (I hate reading obscure instructions) and the functions are east to navigate. The sound’s amazing. You might be put off by the rather bright digital display. Just face it away during sleep.

This Pure radio is sleek and stylish. It is easy to set up as it automatically tunes to all radio stations and automatically sets the time. It is very easy to use. The sound is crystal clear. You have the option to have it powered by a mains plug which is supplied or by battery which isn't supplied. The radio comes in a brown case so it makes it a nice piece of equipment to have on a side cabinet or bedside table.

Automatic time and date set up on switching on along with station search. Very easy to add pre- set stations. Dimmable back light so not overly bright in bedroom. Sound quality very good..does not distort when turned up. Nice compact size and wood surround adds nice finish as as opposed to plastic. Alarm easy to set for station and volume required along with sleep timer. Excellent product with many features.

An excellent radio that was out of stock for a long time. Positives it has a small foot print on bedside table. Looks smart not cheap plastic. Set-up was no problem. Sound good. Yet to use alarm and program stations. Looks fussy if you want more than 3?Negative The display light is bright for a bedroom at night. Must look and see if it can be adjusted. leaflet is the usual multilamguage type

Small in size which makes it easy to use as the portable option. The sound quality is fantastic the bass can be adjusted and no crackling noise on all sound levels, the alarm setting are easy to use & as alarm is due to go off it gradually increases the volume so your not startled by loud music. Easy to set up as it self scans and time automatically appears. Digital display is clear and easy to read.

Tonal quality excellent for such a small enclosure and mono reproduction; well with high cost. Unfortunately first item have some sibilance at high volume, however Argos exchanged straight away for another one which does not suffer this problem. Something was obviously slightly loose inside the first one. Good quality listening for both speech and music of all kinds.

Really like the stylish wood finish of this radio, looks great in our bedroom. Lovely clear sound at all volumes. Very handy having the preset radio stations. Like the sleep function. Nice clear display. Only down side was we couldn’t get any signal in our kitchen where we’d originally planned to keep our radio - otherwise would have got a 5-star rating!

Smart design and very good sound for the size, it is clearer than my old DAB stereo radio.Display can seem cluttered but you can change it to just show the basics, only snag (which others have mentioned) is the fact the on /off button is flush with the surface so a bit hard to find in the dark.Not the cheapest but worth it in quality.

Overall, I love this product! It’s petite and doesn’t take over the table, has great sound and looks modern. It was easy to set up (automatic time as it’s digital) and the alarm took a little while to work out via instructions. If I have a negative, it’s that the time display is a little small for a radio that’s used also as an alarm clock

Wanted a retro Roberts but sooo glad I went with this instead! Has an excellent selection of stations considering I live in rural cornwall and has more station choice due to DAB+ than the Roberts I looked at. Love that it is real wood, feels and looks expensive. Sound quality is incredibly clear. Really pleased with this product.

This is a brilliant little radio looks modern with its oak surround and white display screen. Lights not to bright. Sound is clear even when loud. The alarm is easy to set as is the time ect. Was already pre-tuned with stations. Wire is also a good length, small enough to take away and use batteries. Overal great little radio

The Evoke radio is very easy to set up and use. I like that you can see the name of the station before you select it and the title of the music comes on when a music is playing. My 3 year old has taken over the use of the radio as he can listen to the fun kids radio channel on it. Automatically sets the date and time!
