For someone who hates ironing, I have to say this made it easier. I didn’t have to sort through the ironing basket to find clothes which needed to be ironed on a low setting first. The only down side to this design is that it is really difficult to see how much water is in the iron, a combination of the pattern and the darker clear plastic where the water compartment are, no pattern or plain clear water compartment would have made this much easier. Overall still very impressed!

I was a bit sceptical about the claim that this was an iron with which you could iron anything (ironable) without having to worry about setting the appropriate temperature. The iron just about does it for you although ironing 'over dried', crispy cotton is not quite so assured. Still, it's stopped the problems we had with our previous iron where it was easy to scorch more delicate fabrics because of wrong temperature selection.

I like this iron. I was able to iron jeans and a delicate top immediately afterwards with no problem at all. I was nervous that I would scorch some items but it wasn't a problem at all. The cost of the iron went up the day after I bought it so I got a good deal, I wouldn't have purchased it otherwise.My main gripe is the water tank, which needs topping up often and it is difficult to see the level that the water is at.

Brought this iron for my mum as she does a lot of ironing and finds it difficult to adjust settings depending on the material, with this iron she has none of that to worry about she just tops up the water tank and zooms through the ironing, brilliant time saving iron it has halved the time it takes to iron as the steam is so quick at taking out all creases on all types of material. Definitely recommend to all out there.

I've enjoyed using this iron. It is very easy to use and hasn't done any of my clothes yet. I wasn't blown away by the performance. The iron did struggle with really strong creases.I live in a hard water area and found the iron very quickly got limescale which left a fine white powder on my clothes.Having said that, if you're new to ironing it's a good option, as it won't burn your clothes.

I do a lot of ironing having 4 adult males at home. This is by far the best iron I have ever brought. You don’t need to worry about burning anything it irons by steam I’ve ironed a cotton top then ironed a silk blouse after. No more sorting your ironing into temperature piles. Even my sons are happy knowing I cannot burn their expensive clothes.

Fantastic Iron, best I have ever used, works well, reduces time on ironing, not sure how it works as no heat control setting so a very clever iron, thinking about buying my daughter. Backed up with the Argos insurance - here's to three years of happy ironing.Highly recommend this Iron, please don;t ask me how it works without a heat settings.

Early days as we have only had this iron a few weeks but my wife is now enjoying this tiresome chore! As for me quick, simple, no dials to worry about just switch on and go. Don't forget to watch the water levels as this model seems to use slightly more than our old Philips iron.Would definitely recommend this product and already done so.

I am loving this product from Philips. It’s a very sturdy and performing iron. The steam output is very good and helps remove all creases. The auto temp control works like magic.The only shortfall is the water tank which is very small and the iron takes ages to heat up when switched on. Other than that love it.

One of the main reasons for not wanting to Iron, apart from being time consuming/boring is making sure that the settings are right for the Shirt/Trousers/Jumper etc.All you need to do is add Water then the rest is taken care of, via an internal Micro Chip. Great news/works well.

Long cord is useful, takes minimal effort to get creases out of clothes. I can't get too excited about an iron in all honesty. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the water tank is in black plastic too so it makes it difficult to see how much water is in the iron.

I love my new iron. It is very light and make the ironing fun for a change. The only down side is water container is small and you need to top it up if you have a lot of ironing to do. But it is worth it. Just keep a big bottle of water near you and enjoy your ironing:).

Best iron I’ve ever owned, brilliant performance, surprisingly light and easy to use, and does what it’s supposed to do without any drama; only slight flaw is it’s difficult to see the water level when refilling, but hey, it’s a minor detail - highly recommend.

No more messing around with temperature controls or accidentally catching it when picking up the iron then scorching stuff. This iron takes all fabrics in its stride and is guaranteed not to burn anything! It’s so simple and foolproof I actually enjoy ironing.

Good looking iron - and does as it says on the box - irons anything without changing a thermostat. But as other reviewers have said - it is difficult to see the water level. Certainly gets my vote - anything to speed up the mountains of ironing I get.
