great upgrade from the conventional iron the misses loves it she flew through a big pile of ironing in 30 mins only thing is there's nowhere to put the cable's when you put it away and takes up alot of room in storage but other then that its a brilliant iron mother in law recommended it and we are glad she did also dont forget if you buy one to prime the iron when it heats up to get steam out of it makes a weird noise the first time you use until the water/steam pumps through it whichever it is.

This iron has taken me a while to get used to. But it does steam through the ironing. As I've stated you can't see water level and there's no indicator of when the water had run out. Also be careful how you carry it as it pours the water out if turned slightly. On the positive it's got the feature of holding the iron in place so no struggling to carry base and iron. I also like the fact that you can wrap the cable around the base. All in all I'm impressed. Would recommend it for reduced price.

Ready to use in a couple of mins, tank holds plenty of water didn't need to refill. I liked the gliding of the iron which takes away some of effort. The strong steam is superb and i have used it vertically to do my hanging curtains! Impressed with filter cartridge it has to prevent limescale. It has made ironing quick and easy. The reason I have knocked a star off is due to the size, its a bit bulky and takes up more space. But I can live with that especially as it has reduced my ironing time.

I only like a heavy iron and this does fit the bill. Instructions are diagrams only and not easy to understand especially if this is your first steam generator - hence only four stars. However, the iron itself, once you get to grips with holding the steam button down for steam is a delight and I had great crease free results. I had a mixed basket of ironing from sheets to shirts and completed a boring job very quickly. Eco steam and steam boost features and a safety clip for when not in use.

I would recommend this iron, it made ironing my clothes and bedding easier with great results, It is great that you fill the water tank and it lasts a long time before the need to refill. You have to release the steam boost button slightly earlier than lifting the iron off what you are ironing as you get a blast of steam. Comes with a spare anti-scale cartridge and safety lock is great The only negative point I have is the water tank is a very dark blue and it is hard to see the water level.

This is the first time I have used a steam generator iron and will never go back to a traditional one again as my main iron. It is so light and easy to use only minus is that you have to judge when to stop the steam in between ironing items, as it tends to continue releasing steam if you do not release the stop button before finishing the item you are ironing. Cords are suitable in length. Whole item is easy to carry when not in use as has a handy lever that holds the iron to the base.

Used it for a week & am pleased with it's performance. It feels quite light and glides easily over all types of fabric. I've not had it stick to anything and the studs on jeans don't seem to scratch the ceramic sole. It produces enough steam to blast the creases out of jeans & gets through the kid's school trousers. The base has a sensible footprint. The clip that secures it to the base when not in use is handy. On the minus it is easy to move the temp setting whilst ironing.

Bought this Tefal Steam Generator Iron as a direct replacement for a previous model we owned. This new one, whilst looking similar, definitely is not as good as the last model. When you press the steam button you expect lots of action (the old one did) but instead it doesn't do much until you lift it off the garment where you get lots of steam. And I mean LOTS. It irons the clothes well enough so maybe it's just something to get used to. Time will tell.

I bought this to replace my old and broken steam generator. Things I like about this one are that it is much lighter, it hots up quicker and needs less fill ups than my previous one. But a little disappointed with the fact you can't remove the water tank to fill it up under the tap, you have to bring the water to it. It does though have a bigger water tank than the older generation ones so don't let that put you off, Im getting used to it now.

Lovely looking iron, I was surprised at how noisy it is though (sounds a bit like a coffee machine)It's really easy to set up - put water in the base & wait, I couldn't figure out how to get the steam function to work at first (there is a button on the underneath of the handle) once I had figured this out though, it was great! Irons really well, it's smaller than my old iron so was a bit worried it wouldn't be as good - it's much better!

It is much lighter than our previous steam tank iron(Phillips) but I find it difficult to wind the thick steam cable for storage purposes. It should wind around the base and tuck into click points, but trying to do this is impossible. Instructions do not help nor online searches to sites like youtube. Instructions not good as no wording and hard to fathom images. On a good note, if you ignore my negatives, it does the job.

This steam generator iron heats up really quick, I've rarely had to stand it up to wait for it to heat back up. It generates a lot of steam, making ironing quicker. The only problem I have is that the setting dial moves too easily so I have to keep resetting it, I've given it a five star across the board because the problem could be that I'm left-handed, thankfully this does not cause a major problem.

Russell Hobbs was my previous iron of this type. This one is fine, I like that it’s more compact but two small niggles in that the iron itself is quite heavy and the cable sticks up from the iron itself which interferes a little with your wrist. Also, is it’s a little dark it’s very difficult to see the water level. Otherwise it’s a good little appliance and I’m generally happy with it.

This iron is effortless ironing and its as two cartrages with is great and is a pleasure to use.Only donw side really you cant see how much water is in th eiron as its plastic but tank built in but too darl to see where the level is . But thats the only down side really as its a perfect iron to use on all different materials and linens Would highley recommend this iron to anyone

The instructions aren't very clear. When first switched on it steams great but then seems to refuse to steam when ironing. The power cord is 2mtrs it would be better with 3mtrs. It may be just because I'm not used to using a steam generator but at the moment it doesn't make the job any easier than a standard iron. Maybe with a bit more time and use it will start to make sense.
