The Phillips Steam&Go Plus garment steamer is a stylish, efficient and labour saving alternative to the dreaded iron. In the box you get the Phillips Steam&Go Plus garment steamer, heat proof glove, heat proof carry bag, brush attachment, and the instructions. The steamer itself has a glossy black body with rose gold accents, making this product aesthetically pleasing. The steamer feels comfortable to hold and isn’t heavy, even with the water tank filled. At the base of the steamer there is an on-off power button and on the underside of the steamer there is a large trigger style butter which releases the steam. The steamer has a long power cable. On the top of the steamer there is a light which tells you when the steamer has heated up and is ready to use. When using the steamer I found it very easy to remove and fill the water tank, and have not had any issue with water leaking. The tank slides into the handle of the steamer for a seamless design. Once filled with water and plugged in you can press the power button at the bottom of the steamer and it begins heating immediately. It takes about 40 seconds for the steamer to heat up and then you can begin using it. I chose to use it without the brush attachment for a deeper steam, but you could use the brush when doing delicates. In my day to day life I don’t wear shirts, but now and again I’ll have to wear one for a meeting. The process of getting the ironing board out, waiting for the iron to heat up, and then ironing the shirt is always an arduous task. This steamer allows me to pop a shirt on a hanger, plug the steamer in, and get crease-busting in less than 90 seconds. The handy heat proof glove means I could hold the garment and get closer in, and direct the steam better. I’ve also noticed that the shirts aren’t damp after using, sometimes with an iron they have a damp feel and need to air out a little before wearing. The water tank lasts around two garments before it needs refilling which is great for touch ups. I’ve tried the steamer on some delicate fabrics too and it’s worked a treat, it hasn’t left the fabrics looking warped, like an iron would. The carry bag that came with he steamer is heat proof, so if you’re in a rush you can turn the steamer off, let it cool for a couple minutes then put it straight in the bag. It also means you can take the steamer with you if you’re going away as it’s small enough to put in an overnight bag. The Phillips Steam&Go Plus is a fast and reliable garment steamer that could work well as both a replacement, or an accompaniment (freshen-up tool) to ironing. I think this is very useful little steamer to have on hand for getting out light creasing from clothes that have already been ironed but have been hanging or folded in your wardrobe or stuffed in your suitcase (if you're travelling). It's a bit bigger and weightier than I was expecting but still fairly portable and quite powerful for what it is.The steamer is pretty easy to use - you just fill the mini water tank with tap water, plug it in and press the on switch; the light that comes on will go off when the steamer is ready to use (heat-up time is less than a minute). Point the steamer away from your face and press the steam trigger button a couple of times to get the steam flow going and then hold over your garment and press the trigger to get a continuous flow of steam,as required.I personally found the steamer to be very effective in getting out creases from my clothes. My wardrobe is admittedly pretty full with little breathing room for my clothes, which tend to get a bit squashed as a result. I've tried the handheld steamer on dresses, t-shirts, skirts and blouses so far, as these tend to crease most easily in my wardrobe. You just hang up your garment, hold the steamer in one hand and use the glove provided to use the other hand to help stretch the garment a bit to smooth out the creases. It works! My garments are smooth and crease-free.There's instructions and tips included in the manual for how best to angle and move the steamer depending on the type of garments you're de-creasing. You also get a little bristle attachment included in the box, useful for heavier weight garments like coats and jackets.Overall quite pleased with my handheld steamer. It's powerful enough to do the job it's supposed to and really handy to have at hand to do de-wrinkle clothes quickly without having to get the iron and ironing board out. It's safe to use with lightweight, delicate fabrics too (which can be scary to iron). Only downsides I've noticed are a) it's a bit cumbersome due to the weight so I can only use it for short periods and b) it is on the pricey side considering there are cheaper handheld steamers available but it feels like a quality product to me [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Phillips Garment Steamer Wow where do i start with this fantastic innovative garment steamer. It’s sleek design is extremely attractive and stylish with a pop of colour. It’s lightweight and compact and not to heavy to hold. It comes with a lovely little storage bag and a heat proof glove which has been fantastic when trying to steam clothes that you require to stretch a little, another fantastic component is the brush which has been fantastic on my delicate clothes and jumpers. I’m not a massive fan of irons so I avoid them as much as possible as I put more creases in the clothing than there was before, so I tend to wear clothes that I can chuck in the dryer.Well that’s all now changed thanks to this amazing little garment steamer I have a whole new wardrobe, it’s so easy to use, you fill the water tank up, plug in, select the power button and wait a few seconds for the amber light to go off, your then ready to go, you select the button in the inside curved section of the steamer and you can keep you finger in for continual steam, or release the button when your moving the garment around. It’s a fantastic garment steamer and I’ve been wandering around ironing things that look creased. One of the best things I find to steam is my bedding, i pop it on the bed then steam my bedding once it’s on the duvet and it’s great, make my room look that little more sleeker. I also love the brush attachment which has been great for my delicate jumpers and clothes, and also the handy heat proof carry case which is fantastic storage, also comes in handy to rest the garment steamer on whilst moving clothes around or waiting of the steamer to cool. Jus over the moon that I’ve managed to get hold of this product and it’s certainly lived up-to my expectations and much more. Only one minor issue for me, I feel that the water tank could be a little better, as dependant on what needs to be steamed the tank can only roughly fully decrease 1/2 items per tank. I will now be getting rid of my iron and using my garment steamer in the future. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Packaging - The Phillips Steam and Go was packaged well and came in a compact box that can be used as storage when not in use. Contents - Phillips Steam and Go, Protective Mitt, Brush (to use with jackets, coats etc)Instructions - Instructions were concise, easy to follow and within a few minutes the steamer was ready to use. This product is literally plug in and ready. Handling - The steamer was larger and heavier than I had anticipated but not overly so and despite having petite hands, I was able to easily hold it and operate it. After plugging in it was ready to use in less than a minute and I was able to use it on and off continuously for up to half an hour before I needed to fill the tank. However, this time did vary depending on the amount and fabric type of steaming I had to do.Steaming - Initially, I found it quite tricky to use on the flat surface of an ironing board and this does take a bit of practice, but the steamer came into its own when being used on hanging items, items that have intricate bits (like lace collars or frilly baby dresses) and steaming in situ was brilliant; I was able to make duvet and tablecloths crease free in seconds with a few blasts of steam. I also used it on a jacket that had been stuffed in a bag and was extremely creased. A quick blast soon had it looking great. A small negative is that it can leave items slightly damp, but this was only minimal and items were still wearable immediately. Overall - I was really pleased with the steamer, it would not replace the iron but it would be great to take on holidays where an iron is difficult or impossible to use. It’s great to keep in the bedroom for when you need to quickly freshen up a garment or to use like me as an additional tool to utilise on ironing day to make short work of that pile! Well where do I start with this nifty little product? I’m absolutely hopeless with irons I seem to create more creases than my clothing had before, so it’s rare I ever use it. But wow after finding this fantastic product I’m literally blown away. This compact hand held steamer is lightweight, has a sleek and attractive design, great compact size and does exactly what it’s designed to do. It takes a few seconds to heat up and your good to go. We attended a wedding at the weekend and as I’m sure you will agree the irons in hotels aren’t the best. Packed my handy garment steamer and steamed my dress and my partners shirt and suit and it looked fantastic, there is no water leakage like to get with some irons and you can hang the item of clothing you want to steam or lay it on a flat surface either way it gets put the most stubborn creases and leaves clothes looking perfect. Super excited to take this on holiday next month it’s literally made my life so much easier, you full the tank with water, switch the device on and when the amber light goes out your ready to do. Comes with a fantastic little brush attachment for much delicate garments and also a great heat proof glove which enabled me to steam my clothes to perfection. You also get a hand heat proof travel bag, literally what more could you need. The only suggestion I would have is a slightly bigger water tank, by filling I manage to iron only one very creased garment but if it wasn’t very creased you could possibly manage 2/3 garments. But apart from that it’s a fantastic Product with and innovative design and perfect for my family. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I make no secret of the fact that I absolutely hate ironing. I think the extra expense of "non-iron shirts", that you can just tumble dry, take out of the dryer when still warm and put straight away, is worth every penny. I actually take pride in the fact that the only thing I regularly iron is my Christmas tablecloth which I iron this every single Christmas Eve, without fail!So I was keen to try out the Philips Steam & Go and the first thing I tackled was my son's new Scout shirt. This is a fairly thick cotton material and came folded up in a plastic bag so you can imagine the creases.I unpacked the Steamer for the first time and searched in the box for some sort of "Quick Start" leaflet but there was not one so I just looked at it and worked out how to fill the tank pretty easily.I plugged it in and a light came on, and when it went off after less than a minute, the Steamer was ready to use.I put the shirt on a hanger and started with the back. Moving the steamer up and down I was delighted with how quickly the creases fell out, while the fabric stayed dry. It was quick and simple to do the whole garment in far less time than it would have taken me to iron it although towards the end I had to refill the tank because it ran out of steam.I am very impressed with the results and although I won't be steaming every single item of clothing that my family wear, I am confident will come in very useful for the occasional creased item or for freshening up things that have been in the cupboard for some time. I've always disliked ironing, it's that one chore that no one ever wants to do. So when I came across the Philips Steam&Go Plus Handheld Garment Steamer I was more than intrigued and couldn't wait to give it a go. Upon opening the box I was greeted with an attractive, sleek black and gold design. The instructions were simple to read and follow and the product itself easy to use. Even when the water tank is full the product is still compact and lightweight, doesn't make your arm ache like a traditional iron can after continuous use. Considering its size, it's exceptionally powerful. Heats up quicker than a traditional iron and when using on garments the creases disappear almost instantly. It's especially good for tackling creases in school shirts and because it's so quick to use, I now use it every morning to refresh my son's uniform so he goes to school crease-free. Not only is it much more effective than my traditional iron, it also more than halves my time ironing and that is always welcome! My only dislikes are that although I understand the water tank needs to be fairly small in order for it to remain a compact and lightweight product, it can be a pain having to keep refilling it. I also found that it would occasionally spit water on garments whilst steaming which isn't too much of a problem for me as the clothes dry quickly, but I'd be hesitant to use it on any delicate materials. This steamer is just perfect for what it does and actually exceeded my expectations. It’s quick, easy and heats up fast which is a bonus when your in a hurry and definitely a step up from getting the iron out.Firstly I thought it looked great when I took it out of the box,the colours are really eye catching and it’s designed really well. I’m disabled with bad hands and the design of it is really good and easy to handle and you can either steam with the garment on the hanger or lying flat. The cord is a really great length which is great if you don’t have many sockets, I recently took mine away to a caravan and it was so useful I don’t know how I managed before. The water tank is a bit small but the for me the idea for this steamer isn’t to necessarily to replace my iron, it’s to remove any creases from clothes hanging in my wardrobe, any creases from clothes just coming out of the dryer,of the line and not having to get my iron and ironing board out. It doesn’t leave any shiny marks on your clothes, you just steam and you can wear it straight away, it’s really handy. It’s definitely made things a lot easier for me and quicker with ironing clothes, it quickly removes any creases out of my husbands shirts that have been hanging in the wardrobe I even managed to freshen up all my living room curtains. It was brilliant, I can’t fault it I really recommend this item. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I've had the Philips Steam&Go Handheld garment steamer for a couple of weeks now and it has become a permanent fixture in my bedroom.Quite often I will have clothes hanging in the wardrobe or shoved in a drawer that have picked up a couple of creases since originally being ironed. Getting the iron and ironing board out seems like a chore so they go back in the wardrobe unused. This is the perfect remedy. It warms up in seconds and the creases are gone with the minimum of fuss.I've used in on everything from thick cotton shirts to delicate merino wool knitwear and it has done the job every time.It took a couple of attempts for me to understand how to use it (should read the instructions properly!)and I now realise that the silver heat resistant mitt is essential. It is not a replacement for an iron and ironing board, although I think it would do a half decent job, but it is great for getting rid of those annoying creases that accumulate when hanging in a wardrobe. My friend who sells vintage clothing has already been impressed enough to buy one.I've not taken it on holiday yet but I think it is probably small enough to put in your suitcase if you are stopping in a hotel without an iron in the room.I initially thought the water reservoir wasn't adequate but now I've got used to it, it is easily enough for three to four garments. I have heard of garment steamers in the past , but have to admit it was something I thought I didn't need . On first impressions when I took it out of the box , I was surprised by how large and in my opinion bulky it was . It is approximately 32cm long and at the steam plate side approximately 12cm wide . The steamer is a lilac colour with white which I really like as it brightens the machine up . The steamer can be used both horizontally and vertically and has a heated steam plate for better results . The steamer is suitable for all fabrics and has a detachable water tank which is really handy and holds enough water to steam one garment . I was really impressed with the start up time of 45 seconds which is very good if you are in a rush .In three easy steps, you are ready to go . Turn it on, press and hold to ensure no water droplets come out and then steam your garment. No ironing board needed. I have tested the steamer on silk, cotton and polyester and feel that it's true to its word and safe for all products. It is ideal for things that do not have deep crease and just a little wrinkled. All in all , I feel this is a very good little gadget and helps to save time and is perfect for refreshing fabrics. I can see myself using this regularly for those that you would usually find a chore to iron . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I am very pleased with my Philips Garment Steamer. It comes with a heat resistant bag and a hand mitten for protection. The design is very impressive, lightweight and easy to use. There is an on-off button along with a light which shows that the steamer is heating up. When the light comes on then wait for few seconds otherwise it spills water on clothes. It can be used horizontally and vertically which means there is no need of iron board, also heats up quickly and saves my time.I have lots of silk, satin and embroidered clothes and steamer has made my life so easy because I have burnt a lot of dresses with iron but not anymore. It is very convenient for my husband too for his suits, sweaters and jackets as it protects the fabric, eliminate odors and refresh clothes. Moreover it has made easy to wrinkle out the tough spots where iron cannot reach like embroidered, beaded, buttoned or sequin clothing and you can see the results instantly. Best thing is that now I can easily smooth out my curtains without any difficulty of putting them on ironing board as the cord length is perfect size and I can use tap water tank which is also easy to fill. Overall it is very convenient, faster, lightweight and require little space to pack away in your travel bag too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This garment steamer is very useful for quickly removing creases from difficult to iron garments and refreshing already ironed items that have crumpled in the wardrobe. I was quite surprised by its effectiveness. I tried it on a badly creased unironed pair of twill trousers to see just how effective it is at removing creases. The right trouser leg in the photo, which has been treated with the garment steamer, looks almost fully ironed compared to the untreated left trouser leg. The steamer is easy to fill with water, doesn't take long to heat up and is comfortable to hold and operate. The water tank gets used up pretty quickly but is enough to fully treat one item of clothing. When I used it vertically, the steamer was quite prone to spitting and left wet marks on clothes but these dried quickly and left no stains.I find it particularly useful for blazers and coats that are difficult or impossible to iron, as well as delicate silk tops that could easily get scorched by an iron. The steam also kills bacteria, so it's excellent for sanitising coats and work suits in between dry-cleans. I have also tried it on hanging curtains to great effect! The Steam&Go has really made a huge improvement to how I iron the more difficult and delicate clothes for my family, and has saved me a lot of time with areas like the pleats on the back of shirts, and irregular shaped items.I am really impressed with how simple it has made the most awkward things like frilly baby clothes, that I just didn't iron before as I found it too difficult, now, a few seconds with the Steam&Go then they look great. It's really simple to use the steamer, and I found it powerful on all the materials I tried, but gentle too, as I have scorched many things using irons. The Steam&Go has let me freshen up and decrease items I have been avoiding ironing, due to the delicate materials, with confidence. Also, it's much faster and convenient for freshening up clothes when you take them from the drawer or wardrobe to give them a quick once over with the steamer, and remove the creases and lines. Useful for traveling as you know no matter how you pack, things get wrinkled and need a bit of a decreasing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It’s more powerful than it looks. It’s a good weight for a handheld device, not too heavy that it makes your hand ache but also not too light that it feels inferior. It produces a powerful steam and is perfect for refreshing clothes and getting creases out of delivpcate items. I make clothes and was working with a fabric that crumpled every time I used it and the steamer was a massive help as all I needed to do was give it a quick blast inbetween sewing. I steamed a crepe top and it was like watching a magic trick watching the wrinkles literally flatten out before my eyes! The photo shows the side that had a quick steam along with the side that didn’t.It’s going to be perfect to pack for our next cruise as no irons are allowed. My only gripe is about the water tank. It’s very small and I get why but it is just a bit annoying, the other thing is where the tank is positioned it just slots in and I have knocked it out of the slot several times when holding the steamer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Philips Steam & Go Plus Handheld Garment Steamer was packaged properly in a box together with a brush, a heat resistant bag, a glove and also instruction booklet. Upon reading the instructions, I filled some water into the water tank, slot it to the steamer, plugged in the steamer and on the power button. The steamer heats up quickly and the ironing process was smooth and easy. The only problem I encounter is it's difficult to iron the edges of shirts as it's quite hard to straighten the shirt using one hand while using steamer in the other in a vertical position. To use the steamer on a thicker & heavier garment, brush has to be attached to the steamer's head before turning the power on,and repeat the same step as before. This is definitely a good buy for people who have little space at home for ironing board, fast and easy solution to touch up a few garments, and also for constant travelers as it's light and easy to fit into a luggage.
