Occasionally you come across a product, that is just right, and a joy to use, and these pliers/wrench are prime example.Smooth and easy to operate, with that "you get what you pay for", engineering quality. The non-marking jaws, give a firm grip, but without the destructive surface marking that standard adjustable wrenches have. The jaws are also much more stable and precise than other smooth jawed adjustable spanners.One slight warning, the pliers are supplied (correctly) with a protective light oil/grease that needs to be wiped off, before it gets everywhere.

Quality Knipex Pliers, very easy to use, I don't use my adjustable wrench anymore as they always slip and make a mess of the bolt head, the pliers I purchased are 180mm not so mini, just the correct regular size 7", the 160mm pliers are more mini sized than these as you could drop the 160mm 6" in your shirt pocket and not know they are there.These 7" pliers are the best size to go for as they cover most regular sized nuts up to 32mm and still give a good comfortable grip. You will still need a socket set for nuts that are hard to get at or counter sunk.

High quality tool. Ratchet slide mechanism is clever and seems robust but the spring button release often needs persuading to fully click into place which is irritating. The sizing scale is difficult to use accurately as it's not clear which part of the viewing window has to register with the chosen number on the scale. With the metric scale facing you, the edge of the right-hand side of the triangular window has to line up with the centre of the number - bingo! It's accurate.

Cross between an adjustable spanner and water pump plier. More flexible to use than the adjustable spanner, less damaging on fittings than the water pump pliers but does need flat surfaces to work, same as a spanner. 180mm is useful when working in tight spaces, such as under the sink, and 250mm when a bit more leverage is needed. I could still get by with adjustable spanners, saving money along the way, but these just make life a bit easier.

What can I say except “another fantastic Knipex product”. Not cheap, but great value. I had a pair of parallel jaw pliers I used a lot to insert bushes into 3D printed parts, but they are too small for many of the parts. This parallel action goes out to 40mm and is superb. Far better than an adjustable spanner because hand pressure maintains the pressure on the nut flanks, reducing the chance of slipping and rounding a nut.

I am an electrician and this tool has replaced traditional spanner set and pipe grip set overnight. Not only does this reduce the amount of tools I carry but this tool is better for the job than the more traditional solutions mentioned. If you do a lot of work with nuts, bolts or cable glands then I highly recommend these brilliant tools.

Believe the hype. I cleared out all of my old rubbish spanners and the useless wrenches I had and just bought this. I'll buy the other sizes in the future no doubt. No more nuts being chewed and destroyed. And the way the wrench ratchets is simply ingenious. The build quality is superb. Buy one, you won't regret it.

They turned up with a slight chip , which was very minor however becuase I payed a lot of money for them I wanted a new pair. The company immediately sent out a new pair the day after I complained. This is an excellent spanner. Much better then the usual spanner , as these don’t slip off the nut.

Great tool and a really great idea.They are good but pretty expensive even considering the quality.I just take them as well as a set of allen keys when im out on my bike and its enough to fix most problems.Finally someone has made an adjustable spanner that is nice to use

I’ve used a lot of adubstable spanner’s in my time, carrying one daily at work and this has completely replaced my Bahco 8 & 10 inch adjustables. Great spanner and decent pliers. Would definitely recommend, very expensive though

Saves carrying loads of spanners this is the small pliars but covers lots of sizes I already own the bigger set but these are easier to carry in your pocket as an engineer use every day

Used by professional plumber can just keep in pocket very versatile and can be used on a range of different things, so handy to have a bit pricey though but quality is top notch.

Don’t think, put them in your wish list, just buy them! Best thing since the adjustable spanner was created but a whole lot better and useable.Why didn’ti buy them sooner.

Awesome wrench, already own a 250 I needed a smaller one for tighter jobs, you can get some proper power on the nuts if needed, probably get the whole set eventually

The pliers feel well made, not too heavy but not too light. The adjustment mechanism feels like it will last and not fall to bits after a short time of use.
