Probably my third or fourth pair of these excellent pliers - not 'cos the others have broken, but because I'm working my way up to completing the whole collection - and I think there are 5 different sizes available now. The small PlierWrench is Perfect for a pocket toolkit, which is where my pair now lives - with one in the car, one in my travelling aircraft toolkit and one in the workshop.The bottom line is that if you want the best tools in the world, you buy Snap-On for sockets, Sandvik for saw blades - and Knipex for anything to do with Pliers. This also raises the old chestnut about pricing - and whilst it is true that you pay a little more for the best, you only have to pay ONCE - so,

Knipex's pliers wrenches aren't cheap, but then again again they're also so useful for so many things that it's possible they could be the cheapest good quality tools you can buy. They work as a ratchet-camming spanner, adjustable spanner (crescent wrench), flat jawed parallel pliers, miniature vice, hand-held clamp... the list goes on. These quickly replace most standard spanners, and three sizes cover pretty much everything I encounter as a mobile bicycle mechanic, and the same for general use at home when working on cars or other machinery. If you've never used them then try the 175mm version,

Works amazing, if your considering them, don't think just buy... Knipex build quality and really really handy. I'm a farmer and use them for everything, they of course work as a hammer, nail puller, adjustable spanner, metal bender and even a splinter remover! Very durable highly recommend. (I have to 250s and think they are perfect size for farm mechanic/heavy machinery mechanic)

These look like regular wrenches, but they're not. The jaws stay parallel, so they don't mar the corners on nuts. And because there is tremendous mechanical advantage they grip much tighter than any conventional pliers, and are less likely to slip even that a normal spanner. They're small enough to fit in a pocket, yet have a 27mm capacity. Knipex quality. An outstanding product.

this is the big size for outsize fittings. The jaws are smooth and dont mar the surfaces i use them on. Everything from oldskool bike headsets to chrome taps so far.Im doing a house refurb at the moment and they've come in useful more than i thought. they've also done a sound job straigtening aluminium frames since the jaws move in parallel.

loving theses will probably never use my Bacho spanners again ,a work colleague saw this new wrench i of mine tried it and ordered some straight away. I have purchased different sizes too they are great as well .

Very well made precision adjustable spanner and pliers in one. Huge range of adjustment with a compact form, means great for slimming down the tool bag or in my case, carrying with a motorcycle tool kit.

These are my go to tool. Super versatile and the jaws open wide enough for most applications. Strong and resilient and don't mark nuts because the jaws are flat faced. Easy to apply power through.

Not being used to the Knipex press button way for adjusting the width of the jaws it took a little getting used to. Once mastered it proved to be an excellent and versatile tool.

The jaws are parallel and grip along their whole surface, not like usual pump pliers that grip harder at the tip. I’m reaching for my spannners less and less.

You get what you pay for. These are the Daddy of grips! Well impressed with them. Will be buying a few other sizes soon!

This is one of the best tool I have ever bought. No matter the Geometric shape of the object, the grip is always there.

Fabulous pliers. Bit heavier than other grips but worthy addition to my toolkit. Will be purchasing smaller size also

But oh my goodness it's expensive for a single spanner. I only purchased as it was a Christmas present for my father.

Knipex are brilliant. This is my second knipex plier. Got the 250 and now 150. Love them. Well worth the price.
