I've wanted one of these 250 Wrench pliers for awhile but they are dear in Uk now, luckily I have an Amazon.de account, price reduced by almost half.What a superb piece of German engineering,with the comfort grips makes it easier for me to grab and not need extra pressure for a good bite on stubborn nuts and bolts.The tool is fine craftsmanship,the moving jaws slide smoothly with very little play between them.What is impressive is every fine toothed notch has a laser marking to give you exact size,nice touch KNIPEX.This tool will outlast me without a doubt.

I have had the task of changing the flush mechanism in a few toilet cisterns recently but only had an old fashioned wrench big enough to undo the nut between cistern and bowl. The old wrench with saerated jaws tended to damage plastic nut so went for this based on flat jaws.Within an hour of receipt It was in use and performed perfectly. Tackled the large nut with no damage, reduced in size quickly to help free stopcock.Adjusted quickly and accurately again to work on taps and shower. Saves carrying multiple sizes of wrench/ spanner

This doesn't replace traditional pliers or traditional wrenches, but is a good compliment to a cobra or similar pliers for plumbing and DIY work and traditional mechanics tools (spanners/sockets). Whenever I need a wrench anywhere in the house or car/bike I take a couple of wrenches close to the size I think will work and the pliers wrench. It is one of my most used tools.If I were to buy again I would buy the 180mm size (250 is a little cumbersome) and traditional dipped handles.

This is my second purchase of a Pliers wrench in the Knipex range. My first was somewhat disappointing only because me but hear hands dwarfed the the small 150 But I am chuffed and lucky to find a 250 size for the price of the smallest model available.I have various German tools which are undoubtedly the best, Wera I like but KNIPEX hand tools are engineered and manufactured to very high standards are Knipex guarantee all their products for life.

if you know what these are & what they do then you should already know they are an incredible tool to have, very nice to use, very high quality, got mine on Amazon as it was a good price.

Very good tool excellent if you want to use for varying size nuts or glands and Need a stronger hold than a shifter. Like it ?
