For only £2 a pair these Silverline pliers offer excellent value for money. All Silverline hand tools come with a lifetime guarantee (just register your product on their website within thirty days of purchase) and are well constructed, they're just the right size for most jobs you'll undertake and don't take up much room in the toolbox. I personally own many Silverline spanners, screwdrivers and other hand tools and they are my first choice for quality, durability and value when buying any new tools and I've never needed to resort to using my lifetime guarantees, which just shows the durability of their products. If you're looking for tools that will do the job without breaking the bank look no further than the Silverline range, you won't be disappointed.

For the price they are perfect. I bought these for work as only have a set of pliers that are bigger than these and often i was struggling on when I had limited space and when i saw this set for only a few quid I thought I'd buy them and if they were a better size buy a better brand later on. The size is perfect and unlike most I have seen of this size the handle are still chunky enough to get good grip and leverage. I have had a lot of use out of these so far and they are wearing really, too the point where I may not have to buy any new ones for a while. If I was been pick I'd like them to be a bit stiffer to open and close but that is me

Needed to update my toolbox as most of my odds and ends are at least 20 years old and very worn. This Silverline pliers set replaces a motley selection of old ones and represent very good value for the average DIY'er. Quality is good and they are pleasant to handle. Only criticism that I can think of is that they were all a bit stiff on the hinges but a good dose of WD and light oil soon cured that. I am now on the lookout for a decent set of hand files as I have just managed to break one trying to sharpen the old mower...! Ho hum.

Cheap 3x pliers set from Silverline. It is a brand I am not sure of TBH. I've had some really poor tools with that name and some ok. These are very good. No flaws, good metal and plastic work. Easy to hold even when it's below 0C or oily. Good grip on the objects you're working on, good cutting on the snippy ones too. Handle angles are OK so pretty versatile, can get pretty good force through them. The centre joint is firm, not stiff and doesnt flop about, easily holds its position. No issues with them anywhere

These arrived on time and well packed as you'd expect from Amazon. They are fairly priced but not hugely sturdy - these are cheap tools to use, not top end stuff that will last a lifetime. Having said that they don't feel like cheap flimsy rubbish - they'll last a while certainly. I'm happy with the value for money - I bought cheap tools and got decent ones, and if I wear them out then I'll buy more expensive ones, but for now these are just right.

Just pliers, OK quality, bit stiff and can feel a bit of a grind in use but for £7 you can't complain, bought these as a spare set to put in my tool bag so I don't have to go in my tool box to get my good draper set but I wudnt use them on anything too serious. Saying that these things will probably last a lifetime.

I didn't want to spend a massive amount of money on a set of pliers so I opted for these, they do the job well and don't feel as cheap as some pliers I've used before so should last for a good while. Would recommend if anyone was looking to buy a set.

Cheap and cheerful, a typical set of pliers form my house hold tool box. might struggle with daily use.quality i would describe as OK, the set that arrived at my door were more of a baby blue colour.much better than that Pound land stuff.

I have now been using these in my house since I bought them last month and they still look brand new and do the job the grips are very comfortable and easy to use I have highly recommended this product to my family and friends

useful range of well made pliers. only criticisms , the snips don't have a spring to keep the jaws open , and the multipurpose pliers don't have a built in wire cutter on the hinge. but a good value set for a variety of uses.

These have already helped me with some jobs. Not suited for the professionals but good for DIY.I sprayed them with some oil to prevent them rusting following some of the comments, but I did not see any rust on these at all.

I have a couple of old radio antennas that are too big to go in my dustbin. However, with these pliers I have managed to shorten the length of these antennas, and will now fit comfortably in My dustbin.

Probably not good enough for prolonged use or heavy tasks. Good enough to carry in your car's boot for if needed. The hinge/pivot is very slack which could indicate a weakness. Not bad for the price.

The pliers I got are all good, though the cutting one doesn't fully close properly. Then again, this set is the cheapest you'll find and it's good enough for all sorts of DIY tasks.
