I love this iron but its got two design flaws. Fault 1 is that you can't work with it on the ironing board. The base has to be on a worktop , which restricts where I position my ironing board. The other flaw is that the iron has to click into position for recharging whilst ironing, but it takes a while to get the knack for this. It is easy to rest the iron slightly above the electric point, which then sets of an alarm/alert. However once you get to grips with that the iron is fabulous.

Well done Tefal on producing a great convenient iron. There are many great features, no cord tangling up around the clothes and ironing board. It is easy to set up and heats up quickly, and once you start using it you will find that it's sleek gliding ceramic soleplate makes easy work of your ironing. The steam trigger under the handle makes using the steam function effortless. The prompt to replace the iron to charge is ample, it gives you enough time to move or change the item you are ironing.

At first, I was disappointed cuz the steamer when i used it vertically was not very effective on the curtains while it is hanged ,plus the water is dripping & it cools down very fast, i was thinking of returning it back,yet,when i used it horizontally ,i fell in love with it .It just glide so smoothly & it moves freely at any direction w/o the hassle of the cord interfering the flow. In addition, it gets hot quickly & steam is really very good. I love the mobile design and its’ docking station.

Bought on offer, liked idea of cordless as cords all far too short. Fits on the rest of my ironing board, still needs extension cord to reach plug as cord only short.Works ok, after every section of ironing, say the sleeve of a shirt, the iron chimes basically saying it needs rchrging. This gets annoying as can be up to 30 seconds each time before it's "good to go"Wouldn't recommend due the annoying chime, There doesn't appear to be a way of turning this feature off, or turning volume down.

Please make sure you read all the instructions before you use the iron. Because the charging unit for the iron doesn't fit on ironing board I had to iron in the kitchen, so no more watching TV while ironing . The iron itself is super light and the steam is really good, but on the top temperature will not let you iron a full shirt without putting it back on the charging unit. The finished item was super pressed , so the result outways the need to put iron back on the charging unit occasionally.

I’m over the moon with this iron I bought this iron for use when doing my patchwork quilting and am very happy with it It is light & with not having the very annoying cable trailing behind it ,it doesn’t bunch up my material as I’m trying to iron a 1/4 seam or any other fine ironing Buy this if you want hassle free ironing without the cable annoying you It lasts long enough to iron a sleeve on a shirt then starts to loose heat but by the time you’ve reset the shirt it’s charged again

Wow, what an Iron! Sleek, ergonomic and easy to use, what a revolution to ironing with 4 children in our family you can only imagine the amount of ironing we have to get through each week. But this iron is amazing, it makes light work of everything. The combination of the non stick plate and the steam function, heavily creased denim no problem. One pass of the iron and your good to go. Biggest plus the flexibility you get without having a cable attached, what a innovation, fully recommend.

Putting iron back on its own base every time you want to simply put it down is restricting. A bleep Indicating iron requires re-heating can be useful, but these occur quite rapidly and ironing time is well short of re-heating time as I wait patiently for the green flashing light to stop flashing and I can iron on. Hopefully familiarisation will resolve these early annoyances. Stylish looking iron and for me, cordless is so superior that I shall try hard to get used to this new steam iron.

I was worried when I bought this that it would run out of battery as I’m ironing, and with it being cordless, it would not be powerful enough. But I’m very impressed, the iron charges while you are using it, as long as you place it back on the base every time you move the item you are ironing and it’s a great steam iron (this is coming from someone who used to use a industrial stem iron). I also do a lot of ironing. I changed my stem iron as I wanted something lighter and this was perfect.

It's lightweight design makes ironing easy and no wire to watch out for or aching arms from old heavier irons. The Base charger has a good length cable so can move around ironing board. All the steam options are great and do blast the creases out. When first plugged in for use the iron will flash a red light so a short charge on the Base is required, then when the green light shows its ready to iron away & beeps to let you know it needs to go back on the Base. Fantastic on all settings.

I bought this iron after a bad start with another type of cordless iron , I found it very easy to use and did the job very well even denims were very easy to iron with this ,the fact that you have to put it back on the stand the fact that it has rubber feet on it is a bonus as it does not move about by accident also it is a really good weight to use not too heavy to lift with enough to help with the creases ,I would recomend this iron to anyone and well worth the money .

Really easy to use. Not too heavy and glides wonderfully. It’s ideal for the piles of bedding I go through each week from my holiday lets. I love the fact it switches off if you leave it too long as I’m often distracted! The cordless feature is great. Let’s me iron LARGE items with ease. I also have the more powerful version of this iron which comes with a clip to attach the base to the ironing board, (not that I always use it) so was surprised that this model doesn’t.

Absolutely love this iron. Love that it is witless specially as I don’t have much room to iron where I would like to. You do have to put the iron back onto the unit quite regularly but it’s no different to putting your other iron down whilst you change over or move your garment around. Not as powerful as I’d like it to be but it is a breeze and easy to use. It’s just very convenient. Water does also need to be topped up quite regularly. A good buy.

Love this iron! The 'no cord' is great - so easy to use. I had to get used to not standing it on its heel, and putting it back on the iron plate, but have mastered this now. Also had to get used to the pinging telling me when to put it back on the iron plate, but after a couple of times using it, theres no problem at all. So easy to use ( and fill). Would never have another 'cord' iron again. All in all very happy, and would recommend.

I was looking for cordless ,light but effective iron. . good price also. It does take the second go to get the hang of slipping it onto base to recharge. But that takes only seconds whilst you move to next piece of material into place. Works very well with shirts. Really impressed also it doesn't take up lots of space in cupboards unlike some of the more expensive ones,which all seem to be heavier.definately recommended
