So after returning two expensive irons, one faulty and one was too heavy, i got lost between all different brands n various prices. So, gave up n just ordered this one to see how it'll go. And i am so pleased with this iron. It's very light n even with the water weight it's still light. It irons perfectly. Well, of course not as perfect as a steam generator but for the price I've paid, it stands with the most pricey brands. It takes all the creases out from all thin clothes but struggle with thick ones but with the steam shot it does work. Steam shot gets unresponsive after couple of use but gets ready to use after few seconds.

My iron packed up so was looking a cheap replacement. Was a little sceptical as had some poor reviews but didn’t want something expensive after all as long as it gets creases out of clothes I’m happy. Like other reviews state, you may notice droplets of water from testing. This is clearly stated in the listing and also on the box itself so don’t think what you are getting is second hand! Comes with two year guarantee and by registering online you get an additional year so not bad is it! Is smaller than I thought it would be but the steam on this is powerful and it’s so lightweight that it makes the job a lot easier. Managed a full load of ironing (about 30 items) and only had to refill the water tank once.

I just moved out on my own and, apparently, buying an iron machine is more of a priority rather than a PlayStation 4. Who would have known! Anyway, so I did what any responsable adult would have done in my position and I called my mum. After some investigation comparing different items and their price/reviews relations we decided to buy this one (she decided and I payed). I'm still learning what all the buttons are for but she asked me to tell in my Amazon review that this product is perfect for anyone that would use it once or twice per week, it's very powerful for the price you're paying, and it doesn't weight nearly anything. Also, the colour is a plus!I added some pictures (including one with a pen so you can have an idea of its dimensions).

I hate ironing, really hate it. I never used to do any, but unfortunately, I now have children and the go to school and I worry what the teacher will think if I send them in all creased and crumpled. So every morning I do a speedy last minute blast of ironing. My previous iron was a cheapy cheepo tesco own brand and was treated with disdain, the cable broke so I was forced to replace. This has a much larger footplate with really speeds things up, the plate tapers to a pointy end which really helps with tight corners and between buttons. The glide is smooth and the blast of steam is pretty powerful. It heats up really quickly as well which is especially important on busy mornings and is easy to fill without dribbles.

I was a bit unsure about buying this iron as I like to hold the, for weight as well as how the handle would fit my hand. It arrived very quickly, which is always a good start with me. I donT like ironing at the best of times but this iron is great. I have MS so was very impressed when I felt the lightness of it but then wondered how it would iron without the weight behind it. I needn't have worried. It glides across any material with ease. It has a nice long lead, much longer than my previous iron, and I can now iron things on the end of the board. It also has a cute dolphin nose shaped point which really gets into corners. The steam facility is also good,

Bought as a gift for a friend who wanted a good quality non-steam generator iron, a decent iron that would take the creases out of her clothes without it being a long-drawn out exercise.This ticks all the boxes, apparently. She has arthritis in her hands, so wanted a relatively light-weight iron that was comfortable to hold, and would do the job.At 300 ml the water tank isn't so small as to be useless, or so big as to be heavy.The soleplate glides effortlessly over clothing, and she liked the stylish purple colour. If this follows the Russell Hobbs appliances that I have (kettle, toaster, toastie maker) it will last for years. Currently available at a very good price,

I am so glad I did buy this stylish Iron does the job and with ease was recommended to me earlier model to this one. The heating element is very rapid to get to temperature, which must save you even more money and there are several options available to inject some extra steam into your ironing too. There is long electrical cable securely fitted to top of the iron. The iron itself seems ideally weighted to be efficient at it's job not too heavy to make hard work of the ironing. The water tank for the steam is a good size and I don't have to stop to refill it. If you are looking for a reasonably priced quality iron, then this is it. 2 year guarantee can be extended. A highly recommended.

It is a great product if you want all your clothes to be party ready.1. It has multi-level heat setting for all types of clothes namely, nylon, synthetic, cotton, polyester, etc.2. Has a water storage space to allow stream ironing.3. It has water squirt function so that you can wet the cloth a bit and iron over it for better results.4. It also has steam release function that eliminates crease effectively.5. Very light product. Don't forget to drain out the water and dry to avoid scale build up.Bought it for £15.Cons:1. Difficult to drain the water completely due to storage space design as it doesn't let all the water to get out.--Recommended.

My wife really likes this iron, the only grumble with it, (hence 4 not 5 stars), is that it does not have a very long flex. I had to purchase a short extension lead (from Amazon) before it could be used. Our previous iron had a meter more of flex which was ample. If another metre of flex was added to this iron it would not bump the price up excessively, suggest manufaturer considers this. Other than that this iron produces far superior results to prior more expensive model. My wife is of the opinion that a stainless plate is far better than a ceramic one. If anyone thinks my review is a bit sexist, we share household chores...I am "head of vacuuming".

I am on the whole very pleased with this iron especially for the price. What I like is it is lightweight which was important to me and the fact that I can dry iron or steam with it. 2 'issues' I have - the length of the cord is a bit short, could do with being at least 0.5 metre longer for ease of use. I use it from a plug at work surface height, from a skirting board level plug it would need an extension cable in my view. Second the bit of plastic which you open to fill it with water is very flimsy on a plastic hinge, I do envisage this breaking easily, not so far but I am being careful!

My old sewing iron gave up the ghost and I can’t do my work without an iron so amazon saves the day. I went back and forth over which one, settled on this. Love it, heats up very hot and the steam (auto/manual) settings are great. I like I can have steam at a lower temperature than usual with this for thinner fabrics. I also love that it has such a huge water tank compared to my old one. The lid shuts down to stop any leaks which was always happening before. It’s pretty light weight for the size it is. The cord length is great, not short at all. It’s a great iron that works really well!

It is a very nice lightweight iron but if you have a load to iron then the water it holds is not enough to do what I call a full load. I had to iron some new curtains and had to fill the water chamber up 4 times for each curtain, but apart from that it glides well and it steams well, all the creases came out of the curtains.As a footnote I noticed that one reviewer mentioned about the water droplets being in the iron when they took it out of the box. On my box it says that there maybe water droplets in the iron because of testing control before they put it in the box.

My old iron died and I needed a new one quickly. I chose this because of the reviews that said it performed as well if not better than the expensive ones...and they were absolutely right !! I had loads of ironing most of which had been waiting for 10 days, as I'd had no time to tackle it until yesterday and then discovered my old iron had broken. This one arrived this morning and I have just finished three and a half hours ironing, and it dealt with the most stubborn of creases as well as any iron I've ever had. If you need an iron, look no further, this is great !!

A fairly basic steam iron but which is pretty decent for the price (I paid just over £15). It doesn't have the biggest sole plate and I find it a bit light (though for some that will be a positive). It takes a good amount of water but I find that to maintain the pressure of the steam shot I need to top it up as soon as it drops under half way. This is an impressive basic iron. For the price it does seem like a very good deal.Obviously you can get better irons but for most people's day to day use this should be enough.I felt that it did everything that needed doing. I imagine that everyone has ironed before so I won't go into unnecessarydetail. It isn't as flimsy as many budget irons and I felt very similar to pricier ones.Perhaps fr some people this might be a little smaller and lightweight than they prefer in which case it might do as reserve or travel iron.
