Submitted as part of a selected review panel.Well this is in my opinion a man iron it is certainly clinically dowdy in comparison to some flowery brightly coloured designs. Build quality is solid but exceptionally light, light and solid build quality not always combinable in a sentence. But light is good if you have frail floppy wrists hmm and I said this was a man iron, hmm. Cold start to 60mph ready to iron is blisteringly quick, I guess that is due to the low mass lightweight alloy sole plate on this model. The hot part does glide smoothly across a multitude of crinkly surfaces especially if set to the correctmode for each surface, traction control? Men be mindful of hot hot hotbeing excellent for all ''tis not.Next we have steam shplendid shhhh, there's plenty of that but I think the cm perMillilitre of water consumption may have benefitted from a larger tank. Water wastage through annoying drippage appears absent which is a real bonus. It is a shame to see the absence of soft rubberised plastics around the handle. I mean most of my Bosch man tools have rubbery handles to tend to my delicate paws. But then again a man probably isn't going to be standing long enough ironing to feel any real loss in terms of a rubberised handle. The finest feature of the iron by far is that it has a flex which allows you to plug it in and use it without having to find an extension lead first yippee. I'm am suitably impressed. It has however yet to be tested to destruction with a suicide leap to a laminate floor, the demise of many an iron subjected to my clumsiness.

Submitted as part of a selected review panel.I was sent this iron to review just over 2 weeks ago and I can safely say it is the best iron I have ever owned or used. The appearance of the iron is stylish and modern - I love the grey and black colour scheme that has been used. The iron is rather large and slightly heavier than my old iron, please note I am quite petite, however the performance clearly makes up for this. I have tackled endless amounts of ironing with this as alongside my other children I have an 11 month year old so my washing basket is always full. There is nothing this model will not tackle. I have ironed on all settings and the performance on lower settings with no steam is just as impressive as it is on higher settings with steam.True to its word - the iron is non drip. The water tank is a fantastic size, bigger enough to iron a good quantity of clothes with steam. The extension lead length is great allowing me to plug into anywhere and still have plenty of cord to manoeuvre the iron easily. The only negative point I have noted is this model does not include the auto turn off function as other similar models appear to have. I'm not sure how much extra this would be in price if I was purchasing this, but it is something that I would definitely want as being a busy mum I have accidentally left this iron on. It doesn't come with a water jug but this isn't a major issue to me as I used a normal jug as the water inlet is a great size and a normal jug works fine. Despite these minor points I would definitely recommend this iron.

I was provided this iron to try and review and expected it to be the same as any other iron, but was extremely surprised to find how much better this was than any other iron I have used in the past. This iron was lightweight but you could still feel the quality in it. I love the 2 tone colours on this model and expect that in this colour combination it will stay looking new for long time. I found it so much quicker in ironing in that one pass and all the wrinkles were gone without any effort at all. This iron glides so smoothly and got in the corners of the sleeves on shirts really well.I gave this iron the ultimate trust test as I used in on my 100% silk blouse and was so pleased that I didn't have to turn it down to practically cold as I do with my old iron and no worries about burning or scorching and it handled silk with ease. I loved that I didn't have to used tons of steam to get out tough wrinkles. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a really good to use, high quality, outstanding iron.

Submitted as part of a selected review panel:I found this lightweight to use, the sole plate glided over all types of fabrics making the task of ironing almost pleasurable! Shape of the sole plate also help me get into all the intricate areas of the clothing.Easy to fill with water, for steam, also able to spray stubborn creases to aid ironing.I deliberately ironed on all settings, but without sorting the garments beforehand, as I wanted to see how quickly the iron adapted to the different temperatures, especially cooling to a lower temperature. I am pleased to say, it was all quick and nothing burned!! With an easy grip handle, I breezed through heavy denims and light materials alike.The dial setting was easy to turn, and easy to see the settings.I found emptying easy, but the "clean" button was quite stiff to push - hopefully this will get easier with time. Also cooled down quickly at the end of use.Love the amount of lead supplied, plenty of length to reach the end of the ironing board.

I have to say when I received the iron and felt how light it was I was a little nervous as I was always lead to believe that the heavier the iron the better it worked. How wrong was I!!! This iron is super light and does the job perfectly. It is lightweight, easy to use, the cord is a very long length and unlike my last Iron it doesn't drip water which is really important as I live in a hard water area so when the iron does drip it leaves dirty marks!! It irons smoothly on steam and non steam function and it is extremely powerful which makes it so easy to use. I have 5 children and I can't bring myself to "Just fold out of the dryer".Ironing is very important and this little beauty just makes life easier. The only downside which is minor is that it doesn't come with a little jug - this would have been a bonus. Fab iron - Fab price!!

Submitted as part of a selected review panel.Starting a large basket of ironing is a daunting task at the best of times, but trying out a new Iron actually made me look forward to it. This Iron feels light but is of great build quality and heats up extremely quickly. I set the iron on high and with maximum steam for ironing denim. The iron produces a high volume of steam but at this setting it does use up the resovoir quickly. This isn't really a problem as the iron has a large easy filling apperature. The sole plate is high quality and does glides easily on all fabrics. On low temperatures the iron has an anti drip feature so it won't leave water marks when ironing silk ties and synthetic fabrics.A 3 meter flex and vertical steam function allows you to Iron items in situe, like curtains and bedding. This Iron is simple to use and gives genuinely great results.

Submitted as part of a selected review panelSo I'm a 'an iron is jsut an iron' type of person and we would usual end up with a cheap model iron so given the chance to review this I thought ok prove to me that spending the extra money makes a difference.First off once unboxed the iron is a nice sleek design, with a nice cord length and lightweight which made the weekly ironing alot easier on my wrists. The iron heats up fast so ironing that last minute item when you're already late a little easier. It creates a nice amount of steam and hasn't left any of those annoying wet patches on the clothes. It even made iron the babys little dresses easier. It is the best iron I have used,makes the ironing quicker and a little less of a chore, so from now on no more cheap basic units

Submitted as part of a selected review panelWhen I opened the box the first thing I noticed was how light this iron is although it is a big iron. The 3 metre lead is really good saves me having to use an extension lead. It has a large water tank and it lasted all the way to the end of a big pile of washing. The sole plate is super slick for faster work and the Anti calc feature is great as I am in a hard water area so the iron will not block up. I do alot of Sewing and often need to iron cotton and this breezed through it and I only had to go over it once instead of previously going over and over. The only negative thing I could find was it did not come with a jug to fill the tank with but that is only a minor thing.I would highly reccommend this iron.

Submitted as part of a selected review panel. This is a modern-looking steam iron with a 3-metre cord and fitted UK plug.Ironing clothes with this iron has been stress-free so far. The sole plate is made of a really smooth material which makes for easy manoeuvrability with both large and small items. It worked well on cottons which had been hung straight from the machine, even without steam. On more creased items, the steam comes into its own and again, produces great results. The reservoir for water is easily filled, you can do 'steam shots' and you can even do 'vertical steam' to get creases from already-hung curtains.The iron is not overly-heavy but feels sturdy and well-made. In general,I'd recommend this iron.

Submitted as part of a selected revue panel,I've been using this iron for 4 weeks now and I have to say that I'm suitably impressed by it. What first struck me was its lightness and yet it's ability to remove all the creases even on denim with no effort . Filling the water tank is easy with no spillage and the degree of control of steam is great with no dripping afterwards .The actual sole of the iron doesn't stick or snag and the heat control is very accurate resulting in no burning on my behalf , it's got a very decent length cord which I find very useful. Overall another winner from Bosch, well engineered and nicely put together .

Submitted as part of a selected review panel.This iron doesn't look fancy, but it certainly does a great job!I was very surprised by the the weight, even after adding water, it is very light and therefore no hand ache after long hours of ironing ;)Also, there is a long cable which is great if you don't have plug socket near by or if you are ironing large item (bed sheets for example).I like how much steam is coming out, but if you have the steam on Max setting, the water runs out quite quickly. The water inlet is wide enough that you could fill the water tank straight from the tap.

Submitted as part of a selected review panelI started to use the iron after using a steam press iron for many years. I couldn't believe how efficient it was! It was quick to heat up, and had a wider than normal baseplate which made ironing quicker & easier, and because of the dripstop function I didn't have any of the awful drips that made me swap to a steam press in the first place. It was light which was a bonus as I have chronic pain, so with that and it being easy to fill, Bosch seem to have eliminated all the bad points of a hand held iron.

Submitted as part of a selected review panel - I received this iron over a week ago now and can honestly say it is so light and easy to use that both me and my husband have tried to get to the basket first to use it! I normally leave his work shirts but it's a pleasure running over them now as the steam system in this iron works a dream. It is very lightweight, looks sleek and stylish, holds enough water to get through a full basket and the upright steam option is fantastic. I'm sure over the next two weeks I'll find some other features I love too.

Omg what can I say about the Bosch Steam Iron Sensix'x DA30 I was amazed with the first glide over my ironing board, the sole plate just glided over the material, then I got stuck into my hubbys work wear, ( heavy work overalls), which had been dried on the radiator, so they had gone rock hard, with the DA30 it tackled every crease with ease, even on my delicate blouses, all I had to do was hang them on a hanger and give them a sort vertical steam burst. I've used the DA30 several times so far and I've been amazed with the finished results each time.

Submitted as part of a selected review panelIve been using the iron for a few weeks now and it is by far the best ive used. The extra long lead means I can set up anywhere and still not get snagged up in the ironing board. the large sole plate makes ironing out the most stubborn creases a breeze. it has a large water tank so no need to endlessly top it up. the steam output is fantastic and true to word it does not drip. 2 small issues are this model does not have the auto turn off function like other models and no water jug was supplied.
