I like the size and shape and it was good value for money and easy to use and carry. I use it for craft work. A plus and a minus is the lead coming straight out of the back. It means it can be used easily in either hand but makes it unstable when left upright when not in use. I bought a silicone iron rest because of this which works well. I am disappointed to find that although it is described as a steam iron that it is actually only possible to use bursts of steam which is not the same. I read the info and although it mentioned this it did not make it clear enough that this was all it could do.

I have been looking for an iron like this for a long time, it was delivered to me in nice packaging and came very quickly after ordering. It came with a plug attached a measuring cup a dust brush a user manual and a pretty cloth bag which is perfect for storage and traveling. Its perfect for crafting such as ironing patches on clothes, quilting and most sewing projects. Also the easy to use handle is perfect for people such as my mum who have arthritis in their fingers and hands, all in all its just a perfect adorable little iron i am very pleased to have bought one.

I purchased this little iron as I needed something that I can easily pack with me whenever travelling for work. I rather not rely on the availability of ironing facilities in hotels and this iron hit the spot.It fits on the palm of my hand, yet it’s solid with a good weight to it. It gets as hot as a normal size iron and it makes ironing a breeze. It stands upright and cable is not a nuisance and a reasonable length. The iron has ironed multiple clothing items and have traveled with me a bit already. So far so good! You can’t go wrong if you’re after a travel iron!

I bought this, like many others, for pressing seams on quilting blocks.Due to having my Mum stay with me during the Corona virus lockdown, I had to condense my normal, room-sized sewing space, to a pair of narrow camping tables set up at the foot of my bed.During this time, this little iron together with a wool pressing pad, have powered through ironing the seams on over 900 pieces of fabric.I absolutely love this epic little iron and can easily forgive the occasional puddke that appears on the table top from the bottom of iron when I over fill it with water.

I don't iron clothes, but as a crafter, I like to give my projects a professional finish, which usually involves pressing them. This is simple to unpack from my work bag, and sets up quickly, with a little jug to fill it with water. The iron is light and comfortable, and the handle fits easily in the palm of my hand, so is easily to control. It's great for pressing fiddly bits and pieces. Once done, this cools quickly and packs away in seconds.Cheaper than the market leader, this is excellent value for money, and an effective addition to the craft room.

I bought this item with 'birthday money" as it was a treat rather then a necessity for my patchwork and I don't know why I didn't get one earlier! It's comfortable to handle and manoeuvre over seams. It gets a great temperature for pressing. I thought it might be awkward to stand on its edge but it's stable when stood up. I am just really pleased with this mini iron. I wouldn't want to iron yards of 42" wide material with it but this mini-iron heats up quickly, is so easy to use next to my sewing machine. A great product!

This little iron is outstanding in performance!. I bought it because I needed a small iron to press open seams flat for sewing. This Duronic iron is amazing...It is so compact and has a small travel bag to keep it from getting scratched. You can steam iron too.It comes with a water pitcher if you want to use steam, there is a really good plain English instruction booklet to help you to get the most out of this lovely iron.Well done Duronic iron company. You deserve to do very well on Amazon.co.UK .From a very happy customer.

Bought this Duronic Mini Compact iron for my sewing room to replace a full size steam iron. Having read some of the reviews I also bought a silicone iron rest. While the silicone iron rest has been useful I found the iron to be quite stable when stood on its end.The iron itself has surpassed my expectations and while small, it fits neatly and comfortably in the palm of my hand, glides very smoothly and more importantly is very light. Exactly what I was looking for. Especially good for small piece work like appliqué.

I bought this iron to take on holiday but have also found it to be very useful for when I'm dressmaking and need a smaller iron.It seems good quality and very compact in size. The steam function is much better than I expected and is as good as my regular iron.It stands on its end well without tipping over ( this seemed to be a problem with other travel irons that I looked at reviews on )It comes with a handy travel bag.Overall I'm very happy with this and it was also a good price

Great little craft Iron. Gets nice and hot to give sharp pressing with a little pressure. light and easy to manoeuvre. Sits well on the ironing pad and the flex is a great length. the handle does heat up a little but is still easy to hold as not that hot only a little warm. I do not use steam with my patchwork and I would only iron the patchwork pieces not the whole quilt top which would require a greater ironing surface a nd a larger heavier iron. I would recommend

I hate ironing - so much so that I don't buy clothes that need it. However, now that face coverings are required and that a hot day makes anything made of polyester worn around the face so uncomfortable, I have resorted to linen or cotton face masks. Sadly, they wrinkle when washed and this little iron is perfect! No need to drag out the ironing board - a towel on the kitchen worktop works find and I can iron a week's worth of face coverings in just a few minutes.

It’s small, lightweight and compact. Easy to hold and operate, warms up really really quickly. Perfect for travelling. Purchased to use next to my sewing machine for quilting purposes. It’s ideal for my purpose, and am thrilled with it. It has a steam function which is brilliant also, and a clothes stream/brush attachment which is a bonus. It has a small water reservoir and therefore doesn’t steam for a long period of time. It has a thin carrying pouch

This iron is very good and I love it. I do have a problem with the cord of this iron. As the cord comes out of the iron it is kinking which will obviously become dangerous and be an issue to be aware of. I am not sure if I have got an iron that has a fault or if it is a manufacturing fault on all of the irons. It really should have a sleeve or something to stop the cord from bending as it protrudes from the iron. Should I ask for a replacement?

Great little iron, heats up quickly, and very ergonomic to hold. Perfect for ironing seams on dresses or quilting. However, despite the instructions saying to check which wattage setting you have (on the base of the iron), mine does not seem to have this switch, therefore it is only usable in the UK and countries (mainly EU) that have the same wattage as we do. As I bought this manly for my sewing room, it is not a problem.

Having seen sewing and quilting demonstrators using this iron, I decided that it would be better than my full-size iron. It is perfect for pressing seams on small patchwork pieces before quilting as it is small enough to press only the seam you are working on. I have some arthritis in my fingers, and being able to rest the palm of my hand on the wide top without the need to grip too tightly is a definite plus.
